00:00Nearly 15 years after the first Alien Isolation game made horror history,
00:04Alien Isolation 2's unkillable, highly intelligent monster is even more adept at
00:10drooling over each footstep. This is a game about escaping. You crash land on a seemingly empty
00:18colony world alone as Blake, looking for her missing crewmates. Though this Alien Isolation
00:232 preview is pre-alpha gameplay, I'm impressed by how beautiful the horror game already looks.
00:29Creative Assembly has done a lovely job matching realism with style. This soaked
00:35planet is something to be intimidated by, not just the alien you know is lurking somewhere.
00:40Breaking into another crashed ship, it's tilted and disorienting. But the glimpses of the Xenomorph
00:46sobers me fast. In Alien Isolation 2, she's apparently even better than she used to be at
00:52identifying you by sight and sound. Creative Assembly tells us in an interview that even the
00:58shifting wind can carry the slow creaks of your footsteps to her. I stand up unreasonably quick,
01:04and the Xenomorph dinosaur walks over to me, opens her head to reveal multiple rows of teeth,
01:10and then… I'm dead. All I know is that I want to play more Alien Isolation 2, so give me
01:16that release date.
01:17I'll see you then.
