00:00Now, Dai, there was a controversial moment also.
00:02Trump broke protocol and said King Charles believes Iran must not have a nuclear weapon, even more than I do,
00:10he said.
00:11This happened at the White House banquet.
00:13What do you make of this?
00:15Is this embarrassing for the king?
00:19No, it's not embarrassing.
00:21We know President Trump, as we do.
00:25We know occasionally he comes out with some comments.
00:28I think we're used to it by now.
00:30The king is a very learned, wise individual.
00:34He's been on this earth nearly 78 years, born in 1948.
00:38He's well used to dealing with politicians of every shape, colour, as was his father, as was his mother.
00:47So they take these things in their stride.
00:49And I don't think we should read too much with it.
00:52Anybody with an iota of common sense would agree that Iran is a dangerous country, has been dangerous.
01:01And I agree with the president and the vast majority that they should be prevented.
01:07President Trump has tried his way to do it.
01:10I hope he succeeds because the rest of us are suffering as a consequence.
01:14But it's sometimes worth suffering to actually get over and eliminate somebody like Iran, who, frankly, are arguably worse than
01:24the Nazis in Germany in 1939, when George VI visited the United States with the Queen Mother, as we call
01:33her.
01:33So all power, I just hope they resolve it quickly and succinctly, and there is less loss of civilian life.
01:41That's what really hurts me, the fact that civilians also suffer when anyone goes to war.
01:47But sometimes it's a consequence of the behaviour.
01:50And the blame should rest with Iran and not with the United States, in my view.
