00:00We have enough real enemies that we've, you know, suffered from in the last few years.
00:04We're just still reeling from the, you know, the ballistic missile attacks from Iran.
00:09We know who our real strategic existential, if you'd like, enemies are.
00:14And Turkey is not one of them.
00:15And I don't think that it's wise by our opposition, you know, leadership to frame Turkey in that way.
00:24I think there are serious challenges diplomatically, but they need to be solved in diplomatic tools.
00:28So that's more the direction I would like our opposition vying for power to go in.
00:34And I think there's actually a convergence of interest in some very significant arenas, primarily Syria, our neighbor.
00:41You know, both Israel and Turkey would like to see Ahmed al-Shara evolve into the national leader that we
00:47want him to be.
00:48And he seems to be moving in that direction in many ways.
00:50I think that's something that Israel and Turkey can collaborate on and probably are collaborating now militarily and strategically on
00:58that planning.
00:59I think Iran is another common foe of both countries, maybe not in the same way.
01:03But I think Turkey is also concerned about the, you know, expansionist strategies of the Islamic regime, the Islamic government
01:13of Tehran.
01:14And would also like to see the, you know, those aspirations curtailed in not least in Syria, as well as
01:22other regional countries like Yemen, like Iraq.
01:25None of that helps Israel or Turkey.
01:28So I believe that's really the direction we should be aspiring for.
01:32We should be speaking about fields of cooperation and trying to actually give an alternative vision to the current government,
01:39which is one of hope, one of regional prosperity, one of normalization of Israel in the region.
01:45And I think, as I said before, Turkey can play a significant role in that.
