00:00Ambassador Farah, what do you think? I mean, is it that there is a need for Israel to feel more trust in this new regime?
00:11Or does Turkey see Israel's defence of the Druze community differently?
00:18Now, to come back to two points on Syria.
00:23Now, the first point is, think about Turkey's security interests as well.
00:30Now, Turkey doesn't want to have the PKK, a terrorist organisation with which we have been fighting, you know, internal insurgency for quite some time on its borders.
00:46We don't want, I mean, they're being paid by the U.S. at the moment for their salaries.
00:53They're being trained by the U.S., et cetera, et cetera.
00:56I understand the U.S. point of view on that and the ambassador's point of view.
01:00But as far as we're concerned, it's a terrorist organisation.
01:03It's something that is unacceptable to have a terrorist organisation controlling our borders, the other side of our borders in Syria.
01:13So, to have two armies in Syria is also unacceptable.
01:20So, the 10th of March accord that al-Sharah signed with the SDF, which is running out at the end of the year, should come into effect.
01:32This is what we expect.
01:34And Turkey will react if it's not adhered to.
01:39It's as simple as that.
01:40If Hamas had set up a 100,000 strong force in the borders with Israel, I'm sure Israel would react as well.
01:54So, as far as, or if the same thing happened in the U.S., the U.S. would react as well.
01:59So, Turkey has security concerns, and Israel has to understand that.
02:04And Israel has to stop also interfering in our relationship with the SDF PKK in Syria.
02:13As far as America is concerned, as far as the U.S. is concerned, we don't agree with the actions of CENTCOM on this issue.
02:21And, unfortunately, they're also going in the wrong direction.
02:24We need to come to an accord in Syria where the SDF has to join the national army and where we can have a unison army, a unison governance.
02:37Now, second part of your question, second part of your question on Aegean and other flashpoints, etc.
02:44Concerning what's happening there, we're all allies, the U.S., Greece, Turkey.
02:53We're all allies in NATO.
02:55We've had a lot of armament.
02:58It's an armament race happening as far as the Greeks and the Greek Cypriots are concerned.
03:03They're buying like crazy.
03:05They're spending like crazy.
03:06And they're not doing this to adhere to the rules of NATO where they have to come up to 3.5 percent or up to 5 percent, etc.
03:17They're doing this against Turkey.
03:19And when Israel is the source of weapons procurement for these countries, that rings alarm bells in terms of the actions and the intentions of Israel in our region.
03:34When you have a trilateral meeting that took place in Jerusalem and when they talked about an intervention force of 2,500 soldiers, rapid intervention force, against whom?
03:47The pirates of Somalia?
