Batangas rallyists make way for INC protest

The Batangas protesters will make way for the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) rally at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila, said Brig. Gen Arnold Santiago, acting director of the Manila Police District. According to the latest count, around 950 members of the INC have gathered at the said park as of 10 a.m. To ensure peace and order in the area, Santiago said a 'substantial' number of police officers had been deployed after the city government raised a red alert status, placing emergency personnel on standby to respond to any situation.
