00:00Still my tricks to get inspiration like an interior stylist.
00:03And no, I'm not talking about Pinterest boards.
00:05I always start with travel, looking at how materials show up in different places.
00:08Stone, wood, plaster, how they age, how they reflect light.
00:12Every country has its own palette, its own textures.
00:15And honestly, it's always easier for me to style a home when I've experienced that place
00:18because you're not guessing the feeling, you've seen it.
00:20From there, I look at fashion and lifestyle campaigns.
00:23The fabric matters, but it's how they're used, how texture is layered,
00:26how something structured sits next to something soft.
00:29How a palette is built across an entire look.
00:31Even the way a campaign is styled, the color palette, the mood, the casting,
00:35it all translates into how a space should feel, not just how it looks.
00:38Then I move into art, not just the artwork itself, but how it's presented,
00:41how galleries use negative space, how your eye is guided through a room,
00:45how colors are paired in a way that feels unexpected but still balanced.
00:49That's where you really start to understand composition.
00:51It's not about copying what you see, it's about knowing what to take with you.
00:54That's what makes a space feel designed.
00:56And this is exactly how I stay inspired when curating Homesat Design Lab.
00:59And I'm going to look towards it.
00:59Maybe, maybe?
00:59It's going to look at the background.
01:00Maybe.
01:00Maybe.
