00:21That moment sets the tone.
00:23Instead of pushing everything back against the walls,
00:26try pulling one piece forward.
00:28Angle a chair, frame the space with a side table or a lamp.
00:32You're creating a moment, not just arranging furniture.
00:34Once the layout feels considered,
00:36that's when I start layering in personality,
00:38adding accent colors and textures.
00:41My second tip is to give the room a conversation piece.
00:43Every living room needs one element that feels unexpected
00:46and sparks a reaction.
00:47An oversized lamp, a sculptural chair or a bulk material choice.
00:52If there is nothing to comment on,
00:54the room might feel predictable and predictable never impresses.
00:57Then there is lighting, where so many living rooms fall flat.
