00:24Greetings comrades, from Beijing, more than a century after the founding,
00:29in 1921, the Communist Party of China marked its 105th anniversary in July 1st,
00:38with more than 100 million members and over 5 million primary levels organization,
00:45the CPC remains one of the largest organized political structures in the world.
00:51The main commemorative ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People,
00:57with the presence of the Party's general secretary and Chinese president, Xi Jinping,
01:03who presented the 1st July 1st medal to outstanding members in the recognition of their service
01:11and contributions across different sectors.
01:14During the event, 8 individuals were honored in areas such as defense, health, science, engineering
01:22and rural development, including efforts in the poverty eradication and agricultural modernization.
01:30In his remarks, Xi Jinping emphasized the Party's role in China's historical development
01:37and its vision for the country's modernization and international role.
