00:10Education Minister Falina Sidit said Malay pupils made up 9.01% of total enrollment, rising from 6.84%

00:20In a written reply to Parliament, Falina said more than 35,000 Malay students were enrolled in SJKCs across the

00:30In 2025, the number stood at 40,035.

00:34Tamil Vernacular Primary Schools also saw a gradual rise from 227 Malay students in 2022 to 320 as of May

00:4431st.

00:45Falina said Malay students now make up 0.41% of total SJKT enrollments, up from 0.26% in

00:532022.

00:54The Minister was responding to a parliamentary question from Zakari Hassan of Perikata National regarding Malay student enrollments in vernacular
