00:02Uber and Waymo ended their self-driving partnership in Phoenix as Uber prepares to
00:07launch a new autonomous vehicle collaboration in the city. The companies formed the partnership
00:13in 2023, allowing Uber to integrate Waymo's autonomous vehicles into its ride-hailing
00:18and food delivery platforms. Waymo said vehicles used in the pilot have been integrated back into
00:23its Phoenix fleet and remain available through its app. Waymo vehicles are still available on
00:28Uber in Austin and Atlanta. Uber said Phoenix was its first pilot market with Waymo and was an
00:34intentionally limited deployment with just over a dozen vehicles. Uber did not name its new Phoenix
00:40partner. The end of the partnership follows Waymo's recall of nearly 3,900 robo-taxes over a software
00:47issue tied to closed freeway construction zones. For all things money, visit Benzinga.com.
