Germany's 2026 World Cup ended in a dramatic fashion in the round of 32, defeated on penalties by Paraguay.
After a 1-1 draw by Enciso (42) and Havertz (54') in regulation time, the Mannschaft collapsed in penalty kicks, where Canale scored the penalty that secured the South Americans' qualification to the round of 16, following Tah's disallowed goal in extra time (102'). The Albirroja will return to the pitch to face the winner of France-Sweden.
