Indigenous groups have criticised the state government’s budget saying it is another ‘missed opportunity’ for First Nations communities. Despite millions of dollars committed to help close the gap and work together, some leaders say nothing is working.

00:52The latest data from March showed little improvement.
00:56Just four of the 19 national targets are on track to being met by the 2031 deadline.

01:34stakeholders that this budget lacks ambition and momentum to achieve that.
