02:46So tonight's episode, we are doing predictions.
02:49We have AEW Forbidden Door 2026 right around the corner, and we've got to talk about all
02:54the matches.
02:55I'm going to start off with what a lot of people consider to be the main event.
02:59To me, I feel like we need to get it out of the way early.
03:01Team Briscoe versus the Don Callis family with the stipulation that if Briscoe's team is
03:06to win, Briscoe will get a shot at the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
03:11And I think what we need to look at here is something very simple.
03:14I think everybody understands where we're heading in terms of Wembley Stadium.
03:19I really do.
03:20But there's a lot of time between now and then.
03:22And we've got to do something with that World Championship, especially when every week you
03:25come out on television and have 19 people saying they're going to challenge for it.
03:28So it is my opinion.
03:30First prediction of the night, the team Briscoe does defeat the Don Callis family, and I believe
03:36that's going to happen because of some swerving miscommunication between Andrade El Idiolo
03:40and the rest of the team, leading to the opportunity for Mark Briscoe to get a shot at MJF in
03:46the
03:46World Championship.
03:46Now, of course, I don't think he's going to win that championship because I think MJF
03:50is going to walk into Wembley as champion.
03:52But it does give us an interesting story.
03:54He did defeat MJF previously.
03:57So this would give MJF an opportunity to get his win back, make him strong heading into
04:01Wembley.
04:02And I think it's a great way to wrap up this storyline, Briscoe's Callis family.
04:06So that is prediction number one.
04:08Prediction number two for the Women's Tag Team Championship, the Divine Dominion taking
04:12on Thunder Rosa and Olympia.
04:14Look, I love the story behind Thunder Rosa and Olympia.
04:17And quite frankly, I feel like Thunder Rosa could have been doing a lot more than they've
04:20let her do in the last several years.
04:21I understand there's been some serious injury issues, and I'm thrilled to see her back in
04:25the ring now.
04:25Now, I'd love to see her in a more prominent role.
04:27I'd love to see her in the ring with Mercedes Monet, to be quite frank with you.
04:30But in terms of this particular match, the Divine Dominion is going to be dominant now
04:35and for the foreseeable future.
04:36I predict that they retain the Tag Team Championship because I don't see anybody taking those championships
04:41anytime soon.
04:43From there, for the World Tag Team Championship, Copencage taking on the Dogs.
04:48And this ties into the next match, okay?
04:51Before I predict that one, let's go to the next one.
04:53Young Bucks, Triple Threat against Sky Team and Unbound Company.
04:57Look, I think the Bucks have to win and Cajun Cope have to win so that we can get to
05:01that
05:02dream matchup of Cajun Cope versus the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
05:07at Wembley.
05:08So, in a way, I'm giving you both predictions at the same time because it only makes sense
05:13to set up Wembley.
05:14Now, what do you do with the Dogs after that?
05:15I don't really know.
05:17Perhaps you find a way to spin them off into a trios thing or something like that.
05:22But I just think that the fans are much more excited about seeing something with Cope and
05:27Cajun Cajun against the Bucks than anything to do with the Bucks and the Dogs.
05:30Um, no disrespect to Sky Team.
05:32If there was one team that could maybe upset the Bucks in that match, it would be Sky Team
05:36just because of the popularity of Mystico.
05:39So, that's a possibility.
05:40But I'm going strong with Cope and Cage winning and retaining the Tag Team Championship and
05:44the Young Bucks winning the Triple Threat.
05:47Then we go to Jon Moxley defending against Bandito.
05:51And as much as I love Bandito, and I do love me some Bandito, I don't see Mox dropping
05:57a match here.
05:58I just don't.
05:59Again, heading into Wembley, Moxley, one of your featured attractions, has to stay strong.
06:03My prediction is Jon Moxley defeats Bandito.
06:06And one of the things that kind of bothers me about this year's card is there's some crossover
06:10with New Japan and Stardom and things like that, but not as much as you would expect.
06:15You know what I mean?
06:16I feel like we would expect there to be significantly more crossover than we're actually seeing.
06:21And instead, we're getting a few matches here and there, but nothing to write home about.
06:25So, instead, I think what we're going to see here in this first one I'm going to talk about,
06:29Shota Umino defending against Pac.
06:32I think there's no chance Umino loses here.
06:35New Japan has to win something.
06:37And when you have the New Japan champion basically boycotting Forbidden Door because he thinks
06:43that New Japan never wins anything when they do these matches, you've got to throw him
06:46a bone at some point.
06:48You're not going to do it in the next match I'm going to talk about.
06:50So, this is a great match to do it.
06:51Umino defeats Pac.
06:53Moving on to the next match for the women's championship, there is no chance that Starlight
06:58Kid is going to defeat Delka.
06:59It's just not going to happen.
07:01I think with the injury to Toni Storm, the best thing that could possibly happen to that
07:06women's championship is a feud with Mercedes Monet.
07:08The problem with that is who is going to be the babyface and who's going to be the heel.
07:12And I don't have an answer to that question.
07:14But that's the money match right now.
07:15Unless somehow Toni Storm's coming back sooner than everybody predicted.
07:19That being said, Delka has to win here, which means nobody from Stardom gets a bump from
07:24this pay-per-view.
07:25It kind of goes to the point that they're talking about over how Japan never really gets anything
07:29out of these deals.
07:30Beyond that, speaking of, in the finals of the Owen Hart tournament, Mercedes Monet taking
07:37on Maya World.
07:38And look, the Maya World stuff is a great conversation.
07:40Pete, it's a great storyline.
07:41I'm glad they're giving her some screen time and things like that, but I do not see any
07:46world where Mercedes Monet does not retain, re-win, capture once again the Owen Hart tournament,
07:53and then challenge for the championship, which I mentioned earlier against Delka probably
07:57again at Wembley.
07:59So my prediction, Mercedes Monet.
08:01From there, we get to the one that I think is probably going to give me the most flack,
08:05the most comments from people.
08:07Well, Zack Sabre Jr. taking on Kenny Omega, the biggest crossover match for Forbidden Door.
08:13And this is just my opinion.
08:15If Tony Khan is a smart businessman, unless he already has a deal for Zack Sabre Jr., which
08:21I highly doubt.
08:23Zack Sabre Jr. is incredibly committed to New Japan Pro Wrestling.
08:28That being said, I predict that if you want to keep that working relationship going, you
08:32got to give them something really, really important, and this could be it.
08:35I am predicting Zack Sabre Jr. defeats Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door.
08:41You do this, it quells some of the concerns system New Japan talent have about the working
08:46relationship and partnership.
08:47It really sends a message.
08:49The sacrifice of Omega to Sabre Jr. is not going to destroy Omega's credentials or anything.
08:55He's beaten Sabre Jr. before, so it's not like it's one of those things where Sabre Jr.
08:59has evolved so much he's getting his win back, is the way I would look at it.
09:03So in my opinion, this is the most controversial match of the night, and I think this is where
09:07you've got to throw New Japan the bone and let Zack Sabre Jr. walk away with the win.
09:11And in my opinion, what should be considered the main event of the show, Will Ospreay swerve
09:18Strickland in the finals of the Owen, the winner getting a shot at MJF at Wembley.
09:23And look, can Tony Khan throw us, no pun intended, a swerve ball here?
09:27He could, he could put the win to swerve Strickland and then, you know, do the Ospreay thing later,
09:33have him work up and maybe turn into a three-way, some funky way.
09:36I hope not.
09:38My official prediction is Will Ospreay wins.
09:40He defeats swerve Strickland and he will go on in his home country at Wembley Stadium
09:45to take on MJF because it makes all the booking sense in the world.
09:49Not doing this would be a travesty.
09:50It would be robbing the AEW fans of what they've been clamoring for.
09:54However, and if you really are the alternative to WWE who doesn't seem to understand how
09:58to give fans what they want sometimes, this is how you kind of, you know, kind of stick
10:02it to them a little bit.
10:03Show them what it's like to give the fans exactly what they want and put over the talent that
10:07they're, they're really hungry for.
10:09Will Ospreay easily could be the face of the company for the next year, year and a half
10:14until Kyle Fletcher's ready to take it over.
10:16I'm just saying.
10:17Um, so that is where my head goes.
10:20I predict Will Ospreay wins and goes on to face MJF to win the title even in Wembley.
10:25I'll make that prediction right now.
10:27That's why Ospreay has to win because I think he's winning the world championship at Wembley.
