00:08acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez. Let's hear their declarations.
00:18We begin the immediate labors of our specialized rescue teams as Venezuelan and also international
00:30rescuers that have been arrived into our country. It's a big motion that caused us the flag of
00:38the Dominican Republic, from El Salvador, from Mexico, from United States. They have arrived
00:48to our country.
00:49We're going to land to support Venezuela and rescuers are already in the different disaster
00:59areas to save lives. And we said that the first moment when the event took place, we said it.
01:12The main goal was to save lives. Let's rescue those that are under the rubble. And that's
01:23what we're doing tirelessly of the political team, Vice President of Security, President of
01:35the National Assembly, National Armed Forces, Governors of La Guayra State, Major of Vargas,
01:45the Ministers that are here, they have not stopped working, they have not slept, since they
01:57assumed the task of rescuing those people that are under the rubble. And with relatives that are
02:07going through hard times with the hope of finding their relatives alive. I wanted to highlight
02:21the fact that we were able to clear the road so that our rescuers, our officers, our military
02:29personnel, military personnel, they are already able to deploy around the state, and we are
02:36able to supply food and water. We have already enough food and water to provide assistance to
02:47the population. In this regard, I wanted to inform that we decided to militarize the state. As you can see,
02:55our national armed forces, our national armed forces, and different branches are present in the
03:02white state to assist this difficult juncture that is affecting our nation. As a general
03:13assessment, I want to inform that, regretfully, we have 589 people that perished and
03:242,980 injured people. And we have rescued tens of people that, it's an opportunity to hug their
03:40relatives. So they were happy that we have rescued many people. And we have had 214 after shots that
03:50account for the seismic activities in our territories. And in this process of the seismic forces
03:58underground that are taking place in the underground. And I also want to thank
04:06bikers who volunteer themselves to assist with transportation to bring water to those in need in Vargas State to bring
04:23food.
04:26I wanted to thank volunteers. We were in San Bernardino. I was with the mayors and we thought there was
04:36an issue. And when we reached them, they said that they wanted to volunteer to be there present to rescue
04:42people that are under the building. And immediately we organized them so they could be part of the team, of
04:52the work. And that speaks of the
04:54the great heart of the great heart of our people, the solidarity of our people. Nobody is left behind. Everybody
05:01came up to assist the brothers and sisters. And a special recognition to our rescuers that are arriving from all
05:14over the nation to be part of this commendable task.
05:22Which is to rescue people that are under the rubble of buildings that collapsed. I want to thank this team
05:33of work. We are on the right path. We are guaranteeing peace and calm in our nation and also assisting
05:46those that were hardest hissed by the situation.
05:52In this regard, we have a minister of commerce, minister of youth and president of the entrepreneur institutions that are
06:01assessing the different retail businesses that were affected by the quake.
06:10I also wanted to inform that through the app, we are allocating some money so that people can face the
06:26situation and be able to buy some food and water and whatever they need. So we will continue welcoming delegations
06:36coming from other countries. We are waiting.
06:40We are waiting for the delegation for the delegation of the US, the Colombian, Spanish, barbarian delegations. There's a team
06:50from Mexico that already arrived. We are waiting for another one. A delegation from Panama. And in the upcoming hours,
06:59we will be coordinating together with the national, international rescuers to save lives and to bring joy to the hearts
07:09of our
07:10our Venezuelans, our Venezuelans, countrymen and women. And we continue praying continuously. That's what we ask our people. Let's bring
07:22hope and faith to those that might be there waiting for a relative that might be alive.
07:31And we will be there to assist with the prayers. And so we continue working tirelessly. I want to thank
07:45the commitment of international institutions and organizations that since the first moment of the quake on January 24th, they have
