00:25and the challenges Venezuelans in Trinidad and Tobago are facing to contact their loved ones in Venezuela.
00:32Do you personally have any relatives, family, friends across in Venezuela that you are trying to get in contact with?
00:42Have any sense of what's happened to them?
00:45Well, yes, I'll be trying. It's very hard to call friends and relatives, calling relatives, uncles, cousins.
00:53And we can't get in touch. We just cannot get in touch.
00:57It's very bad. Plus, the Internet is a very serious problem too.
01:01During the interview, Ms. Gonzalez received a phone call from another Venezuelan national living in Trinidad and Tobago
01:06and put her on speaker so we could speak with her.
01:10Right now, we try to look in to bring some support across there and from Trinidad
01:17to try to get some donations to bring it across there and to try to help the community
01:24and to try to get the support from Trinidadians to the locals and the people to Venezuela ready
01:30to send some stuff across there to try to do the best to support them.
01:34Ms. Gonzalez said the immediate need is for food and medicine.
