Qualcomm shares jumped after raising its 2029 non-handset revenue forecast and unveiling a Meta-backed data center CPU.

00:07fiscal 2029 non-handset revenue forecast to $40 billion from $22 billion, according to CNBC.
00:15The company also targeted $15 billion in data center sales and adjusted earnings of more than
00:20$18 per share for that year, above analyst estimates of $15.26.
00:26Earlier Wednesday, Qualcomm introduced its Dragonfly C1000 data center CPU and said Meta
00:32would use it when production begins in 2028.
00:35Qualcomm said the chip is built for agentic AI and power efficiency.
00:40CEO Cristiano Amon said the company has built a comprehensive portfolio to expand into the
00:44next phase of the data center market.
00:47CFO Akash Palkiwala said Qualcomm already works with nearly every hyperscaler through existing
00:53smartphone chip and product relationships, giving it a base for data center engagement.
