Habib al-'Ajami (رحمه الله) was an early Muslim from the generation of the Tābiʿīn. Classical scholars describe that he was once a harsh moneylender whose heart was transformed through sincere repentance. He abandoned his former life, devoted himself to worship, and became one of the students of Hasan al-Basri (رحمه الله). His story is a timeless reminder that Allah's mercy is greater than our past when repentance is sincere.
