00:00Hello good people, welcome to Anime is Life and the 21 episode of Boruto sees Shizune inform Sakura in the
00:12hospital that Sarada has followed Naruto to meet up with Sasuke.
00:20And obviously Sakura is very worried because she may become entangled in the danger surrounding leaving the village and obviously
00:32so Sakura decides to actually leave and meet up with Naruto, Sasuke and Sarada.
00:44And then when we get to the reunion between Sasuke and Sarada, obviously Sarada immediately recognized Sasuke as her father
00:57but Sasuke, no.
00:58In fact, what he did is he drove his blade through a pillar in the rich tower and Sarada questions
01:13Sasuke that why he could not recognize her immediately when she could.
01:19Naruto and Chocho eventually arrive and obviously Sarada just lashes out having doubts about Karin possibly being her mother and
01:30whether Sakura is really Sasuke's wife and her mother or not.
01:37And this leads to a very tense situation and obviously Sasuke is not providing clear answers like Sakura.
01:45In fact, what he says is whatever I'm doing has nothing to do with you.
01:49And this leaves Sarada devastated and she runs out.
01:54So this is actually a very tense situation when you look at it because Sasuke obviously his past, I think
02:04he wants to hide his past from Sarada because he does not want his own daughter to be ashamed or
02:13embarrassed of Sasuke.
02:14Because we get a flashback of Naruto and Sasuke having a conversation just before Sasuke is leaving the village.
02:23And basically Sasuke's mission in traveling outside the village is to inspect threats like Kaguya.
02:33And the only way that he can do that is because of the use of his Renegade because only he
02:41has the Renegade, right?
02:42And that makes him the perfect candidate and he also thinks of this journey as a path to atonement for
02:52his criminal past against the leaf village and against other villages in the past.
02:58So obviously it's very understandable why Sasuke is doing the things that he is.
03:03But at the same time, you know, asking his information to be classified and be withheld from his daughter, understandably
03:14so.
03:14Because if suppose a little kid finds out about the past of her dad and obviously they're not that mature
03:22enough to understand what happened in the past.
03:26And because if Sarada were to find out about the Uchiha clan massacre by Itachi, how Itachi was left with
03:35no choice but pressured into doing what he did,
03:39obviously that is going to lead to a very troubled childhood for Sarada.
03:46So obviously concealing that kind of information, I think, is the best way to approach this.
03:54And then as Naruto is comforting Sarada and pleading her to have one more conversation with Sasuke,
04:04Shin Uchiha arrives, the boy with the larger figure whom he calls father.
04:08And that man also is called Shin Uchiha.
04:13And that was so freaking confusing.
04:16Like basically, is it like the larger figure, the father figure, his name is Shin Uchiha and these kids are
04:25basically his clones?
04:27Like is it some sort of shadow clone jutsu?
04:29But, you know, he's not that advanced enough to the point he's making his clones are not in adult form
04:39and and like little kids.
04:42And he looks like a failed experiment of some sort.
04:45And basically he wants to revive the Akatsuki.
04:48So obviously, who is this guy?
04:50We have no clue, but hopefully we get answers.
04:53And it looks like this guy is going to be overpowered by Naruto and Sasuke.
04:58I mean, obviously, this guy is not going to stand a chance.
05:01But using his Mangekyo, he manipulates Sasuke's sword into stabbing Naruto.
05:09And the chakra stopping the blades from piercing through Naruto and everyone inside Naruto's nine tails chakra.
05:18What happens to that is obviously it starts to fade away.
05:22And Sasuke is left with no choice but to shield Sarada and all the blades pierce through Sasuke as well.
05:29And it looks like this man single-handedly put the seventh Hokage and the shadow Hokage both in a very,
05:39very dangerous situation.
05:41But what happens is Sakura to the rescue and she punches and knocks out Shin Uchiha.
05:49And Naruto is looking to take that little boy and the larger figure.
05:55Both the Shin Uchiha's and Sakura and Sasuke and Sarada reunite.
06:01And it looks like Sarada could end up getting answers to her questions.
06:07But just then, that creature that Shin Uchiha has with him, the small creature, one-eyed creature with the Sharingan.
06:14He is teleporting both the Shin Uchiha's and Sarada.
06:21But Sakura pushes her away and Sakura is eventually transported to Shin's hideout.
06:28So, basically, Sakura sacrificed herself.
06:34Now, hopefully that assures Sarada that Sakura is indeed her mother.
06:38And this was, like, very baffling to me because someone like that managing to get the better of Naruto and
06:50Sasuke.
06:50Like, dude, you just made him look so overpowered.
06:53And, basically, the comedy in this episode was, you know, Kurama mocking Naruto that how his battle senses have dulled
07:05to the point where the sword pierced through him.
07:09And Chocho still trying her side quest, not her side quest, her main mission to find out her real father,
07:18placing Sasuke's hand on her forehead.
07:21So, there were some good moments in this.
07:24But, overall, I think it was a great, I mean, good moments comedy-wise.
07:28But, overall, Sarada has been used really well in this episode.
07:33The story of Sarada is actually the most exciting thing that I have seen in the Naruto Wars after a
07:40long time.
07:41The last time I was very hyped for Naruto was, the original Naruto was the Chunin exam, so Rock Lee
07:49vs. Gaara.
07:50And then, in the final Shinobi War, the fourth Shinobi War, it was Madara vs. Gai.
07:56And this, obviously, it's a different kind of moment, but still, it is sheer storytelling of a girl who wants,
08:04who is just curious, and who has this troubled past.
08:08And the troubled life of Uchiha's continues.
08:13And Sarada, as soon as she was looking to get answers, her mother gets teleported away.
08:19But, this was really exciting to see how they use Sakura.
08:24Sakura, actually, they have done really well in using Sakura.
08:28Because, if you remember, during Naruto Shippuden, the first arc, when she was fighting the puppets and all.
08:34So, dude, Sakura is overpowered.
08:37And, beating Shin Uchiha with just one knockout.
08:42So, I think the female character's use has been improved by Kishimoto really well.
08:49I hated when Karin was stabbed through.
08:55When Sasuke, you know, he attacked Danzo by stabbing through Karin.
08:59Like, that was the worst thing that Sasuke did.
09:01And, Karin just, you know, eventually let it go.
09:05That was, like, the worst kind of writing I had ever seen.
09:09But, at least female characters here that Sarada is lashing out.
09:13And, not, you know, just, oh, my dad is so cool of a shinobi, so I'll just forgive him.
09:18At least, there's not that kind of shit.
09:23And, I think it was a great episode.
