00:09the Super Mario Galaxy movie. And I know it has gotten a good chunk of negative reviews
00:18but honestly it was such a charming product, such endearing animation, wholesome moments
00:25and understandably there are a large group of people who are not satisfied with the changes
00:34to the plot where Rosalina and Peach are revealed as sisters and you know Bowser's bromance with
00:45the Mario brothers for a brief amount of time in the movie when Mario you know he just hit Bowser,
00:52Bowser infuriated him and Bowser reverted to his original big size. So obviously things like that
01:00you know it's understandable the fans of the games are not looking forward to such changes
01:12and understandably it's all right but at the same time when you're looking at a movie based on a
01:21video game I don't think there should be really high expectations when it comes to the story
01:29the depth of the story because for a movie based on a video game the best that it can do
01:39is replicate
01:40those fun animations those fun moments where you know you go like crazy like for example
01:47princess peach fighting uh in that casino the where that frog toad whoever the frog was the owner let's
01:56not call him toad because toad is you know princess rosalina's subordinate princess uh peach's subordinate
02:03sorry and uh so that whole fight scene in the casino where gravity keeps shifting from floor to wall to
02:13roof
02:14wherever the hell it was man i mean each and every plane had like a gravity of its own
02:21it was freaking crazy and surreal and awesome to see that fight scene and got me really hyped up for
02:28the movie
02:29and you know you have these simple stories a monkey ukiki stealing bags and running away stealing belongings and running
02:36away
02:37to the casino i mean things like these that's what the video games the video game adaptation is all about
02:46and understandably there will be plot point changes and if we look at how rosalina and peach are revealed
02:54as sisters and if you look at the designs of both the characters you may need to think you know
03:01more you
03:02need to ponder and you come to the realization maybe it was something that could have been proposed right
03:10otherwise i don't see the striking resemblance in princess rosalina and princess peach for them to be
03:17so similar and not be related maybe it was something under consideration but they did not pull the trigger
03:23on for whatever reasons but honestly uh the lumalis the lumas the lumalis the who just wants who finds
03:37salvation in the worst kind of things happening to him particularly death and the lumas being a princess
03:46rosalina's kids all these wholesome moments yoshi bonding with the mario brothers you know accidentally
03:54knocking down a dinosaur in the museum running away and riding a bike my god i mean it's freaking crazy
04:02if
04:02you look at all these moments and how uh illumination entertainment you know it pulls off this incredible
04:09animation and princess peach giving mario a kiss at the end on the cheek so all these
04:17freaking small small moments that ultimately it's building are building blocks to the big big
04:23satisfaction for a fan because if you are going and watching this movie with the mindset of a fan and
04:31you throw away this whole you know you throw away your whole high expectations and you just watch it with

04:39fun mood you know you're with your loved ones you got kids you got wife you got sisters brothers
04:46who share the fun of playing mario games who share those fun memories from the past and nostalgia comes
04:54knocking on your door in your mind on your mind whatever it is and it's just about having a fun

05:01i hilarious i hilarious i find bowser hilarious man his bromance with the mario brothers to the point
05:09where he ultimately had to you know he ultimately decided to be a good father to his son who had
05:17built
05:18planet bowser in his image in his honor and he basically did this to the best of his abilities
05:29that ride going through the lava moat bowser losing his skin my god i mean there are just like so
05:38many freaking moments in this movie and you know comic being a proud grandfather who is so happy to see
05:51bowser jr you know with his when he commits his first princess kidnapping kidnapping princess rosalina
06:02all these freaking moments man it just is incredible from an animation point of view and i'm 100% sure

06:11know kids are definitely attracted to this kind of stuff but if you're a fan of the game who had
06:18played
06:18as early as the 8-bit game you remember those game stations and i'm not just talking about the
06:25nintendo i'm talking about the game stations where you had duck hunt and everything that external gun
06:31and you know you had those cassette slots and you had basically the cassettes it was basically like a
06:39strip it was like a strip that was the main content and you had to insert that digital strip into
06:46the
06:46cassette slot and that's how you played the game and what happens is sometimes when you often drop
06:52the cassettes uh the rectangular shape of the cassettes right the cover of the cassette would
06:57break and people would think oh my god that's it it's damaged but then they would figure out
07:02it's actually that uh that strip which is the main content and uh that was freaking hilarious man so
07:12all these kinds of moments man they you know they just come to life man i mean that digital
07:22freaking strips and all and mario is just the freaking best man mario is is the freaking best when it
07:33comes to entertainment i'm so glad that we've gotten two movies so far and bowser trying to be a better
07:43father you know because he he felt that he neglected his duties where uh he should have been a good

07:52and attended more to bowser jr but instead that only motivated bowser jr to conquer the world
08:00kidnap princess rosalina and power of a universe destroying cannon my god and that was freaking awesome
08:11uh to see the you know bowser's uh bowser's uh juniors uh creation turns against him and uh
08:25uh uh it was ultimately mario who had to save bowser jr and this is like in true essence of
08:34the game that is what super mario is all about and them giving this wholesome moments after wholesome
08:43moments whether it's yoshi baby baby mario brothers baby toad so all in all it's a really freaking great
08:52animation product and illumination entertainment did a fantastic job and i can't help but remind myself
08:58of the game cartridges that i used to insert in the game station and play and that's it for this
