President Donald Trump unveiled a newly modified Boeing 747-8 that will temporarily serve as part of the Air Force One fleet after being donated by Qatar. The aircraft, valued at roughly $400 million, has undergone extensive upgrades to enhance security, communications, and operational capabilities. Trump praised the jet’s design, technology, and luxury features during a ceremony at Joint Base Andrews. The aircraft will now undergo commissioning flights before entering presidential service. It is expected to bridge the gap until Boeing delivers the next-generation VC-25B presidential aircraft, which have faced years of delays in production and delivery.
