00:00I'm trying out the viral Hamlin's white dip.
00:03Mm-hmm.
00:04This dip comes out of a Mexican restaurant
00:06somewhere in the Midwest.
00:07Nothing about this screams Mexican food,
00:09but it looks delicious,
00:11and everyone that tastes it seems to be blown away,
00:14so I've gotta try it.
00:14Starts with a whole container of mayonnaise,
00:17then finely chop up the onion and olives.
00:20Keep in mind, the girl that shared this recipe
00:21hates both olives and the next ingredient, blue cheese,
00:25but loves this dip.
00:26She also finely chops the blue cheese,
00:28just so there's not big chunks in there.
00:30I hope I like it,
00:31cause it's gonna make a whole lot of dip.
00:32Then a little bit of garlic powder.
00:33Final step, thin it out with a little bit of buttermilk,
00:36till you get to your desired consistency.
00:38Something like that.
00:39I mean, you've got the base of ranch
00:42and the flavors of a dirty martini.
00:44How can it be bad?
00:45Going straight in for the taste test.
00:48Mm.
00:49You can't really pick out the blue cheese or the olives,
00:51but it's savory, salty, a little briny.
00:53I can see why this dip went viral.
00:55Four ingredients, tons of flavor.
00:57I will be breaking this out in my next party.
