Synopsis: Mrs. Fourneur is the headmistress of a boarding school for young women. Her strict methods do not sit well with the students; in fact, three have recently run away, and nothing has been heard from them since. When Teresa arrives at the boarding school, she soon learns the rules and the control that Irene a ruthless young woman who has become the headmistress’s favorite exerts over the girls. Also living in the building is Luis, the headmistress’s son, who secretly meets with one of the girls, fleeing his mother’s overprotectiveness. Furthermore, Luis often spies on the students, despite his mother’s reprimands.
