00:00So, please welcome Kenny Octavius, co-founder of PointFit Technology.
00:13Hey, the floor is yours, guys.
00:17Okay, your feet on.
00:19Hello, hello.
00:22Good afternoon, everyone.
00:23We're from PointFit Technology Hong Kong.
00:26So, here's me, Reno, and JB.
00:29So, we're very excited to introduce you to our technology that measures sweat and biomarkers without any needles.
00:36So, without further ado, let's get started, right?
00:40So, why are we here, right?
00:41So, obviously, when we see a lot of health monitoring trends over the past years,
00:46for the past, of course, we have the hospital-based testing.
00:49That's the gold standard where people do with blood, saliva, urine.
00:52And in the past decade, we see a lot of progressions in the wearables, right?
00:55So, you do a lot of measurements of digital health, aura ring, watch, whoop.
01:00They all measure what we call optical sensing, like heart rate, steps, or oxygenation.
01:06But with the biomarkers, they are still very limited, and that's where we want to be at.
01:10We're bringing in the biomarkers.
01:12They normally need labs or blood now accessible in your skin without any needles in real time.
01:18So, how to do it, without further ado, this is our core technology.
01:22This is what we call the PointFit Ace.
01:24So, it's a one-time sweat patch that you can see.
01:27This is the one collecting the sweat biomarkers, and it's highly modular from lactate, cortisol, and glucose, and so on
01:35and so forth in the future.
01:36And how we then transmit this in real time is, first, it's where we have the PointFit Sports, where we're
01:42embedding it into textile.
01:43And it's, of course, highly modular to different applications, like cycling.
01:47They want to put it in the chest wrap, or even a football vest.
01:50They're doing it.
01:50They're putting it on there.
01:52And, of course, for the daily use, medical use, you don't necessarily need the wristband or the textile,
01:58but you just need the sensor, which is the patch here, and then the transmitter on top.
02:03So, you can imagine it like a CGM, but without any needles.
02:07So, of course, we have JB and Reno here.
02:10They're having a quick live demo.
02:12So, the one that JB wears here is our PointFit Sports.
02:16So, as you can see there, it's mostly for our runners.
02:19And then, when we see in the app, so, as you can see, we're connecting it live.
02:27So, you can see how JB is sweating in real time.
02:32Obviously, like, it's not going to be much, because we are not doing, like, the full protocol.
02:41Yep.
02:42So, as you can see there, we can do, modulate the protocols.
02:46You want to start with 60, or you want to do, JB, you want to do higher.
02:51We can start with, say, 83, and then 3 minutes, 1 minute interval.
02:58It's essentially very modular to what kind of exercise you want to do,
03:02because each performance coaches, they have different types.
03:05So, and then, once you have it, then what you can see live is already, like, the lactate data live.
03:11So, before, people need to prick their fingers, prick their ears.
03:15Now, you can get the data.
03:16So, the green line there is essentially the data.
03:19And then, you can see there as JB is going to start sweating, and then the data will start going
03:24up.
03:24So, we'll get back to that soon.
03:27And while we're at it, so, obviously, what we display first is, like, what JB is doing is what we
03:32call endurance profiling.
03:33So, we want to make sure where is the lactate, where the starts, the body going to aerobic to anaerobic.
03:40And from this baseline is what we're then going to use it for the outdoor pacing, right?
03:45So, when you have it, because right now, if you see Apple Watches, they only do based on the population
03:49data,
03:50but we provide much personalization from the profiling test.
03:53And then, of course, we build a pro training team based on lactate.
03:58So, anyone here run marathon?
04:00So, I'm pretty sure if you run marathon, you're probably familiar with how you train.
04:05So, you want to have your target time.
04:07So, from your lactate threshold, you can know.
04:09This is how much you need to aim, and then how many weeks you want to put.
04:12And then, essentially, our device can tell you what the training plans that you can follow to increase your endurance,
04:18right?
04:18And not only that, we're also doing side-by-side tests.
04:22So, how to prove our accuracy with doing side-by-side, essentially what JB is doing.
04:26So, we're wearing it in the right hand, and the left hand, we prick with blood simultaneously.
04:29And it starts getting tired, so the red dot is the blood.
04:32You can see the green one is coming from our device and starts picking up as well.
04:37And what's interesting is not only measuring about when it starts getting tired,
04:40but it also tells when it starts the recovery as well.
04:44So, you can see there, the recovery part is when your body starts breathing in, going back to the oxygen.
04:50Well, now, not only that, so for the coaches, we work with a lot of professional teams.
04:56What's the key value of our device is making it scalable?
04:58Because if you want to prick blood, you need to engage sports scientists, right?
05:01And not every team has six or ten sports scientists.
05:04So, how we do it with our device, we also provide what we call the dashboard.
05:07So, you can see we're working with, say, the Van Roussel, Roubaix, the Decathlon Pro Cycling team.
05:12You can measure four or five athletes at the same time.
05:15So, you can see there, once they start, they wear on the same device that JB is wearing.
05:21Plug it in, and then you can see the data in real time.
05:24And for those who want to do other metrics as well, so we also make a dashboard where we can
05:30also collect a device,
05:31data from different wearables, Garmin, Polar, Whoop, and so on and so forth, to provide more data comprehensively.
05:38So, not only the hardware, we believe that sweat, human sweat is very tricky.
05:43You need a lot of characterizations, personalization, and that's why we're doing a lot of sweat database trials in Hong
05:49Kong
05:49to make the demographics more accurate, different gender, age, ethnicity, and even environmental chambers
05:57is what, essentially, we're collecting so we can know what each individual personal sweat index.
06:04And, of course, later on, we'll then move to the multiplex where we can do one patch,
06:09not only capturing one, but capturing multiple measures at the same time.
06:13And that's what bringing the personalization like never before.
06:16So, where are we going to see this at?
06:17Of course, everyone's going to wear a watch, so if you don't want to wear a ringing phone when you're
06:23running,
06:23you can see it in the smartwatch.
06:25And, of course, we're working it with Technogym, Kinomap.
06:28It's a French startup that we signed MOU with last year.
06:30We want to bring it into the equipments because then you can actually easily accessible this data anywhere.
06:36And, of course, the future of the smart interface, we also bring it in the smart glass that, okay,
06:41you don't need to wear a garment bike, something you can just see the data in real time
06:46from any wearables you're wearing.
06:48Lastly, we also work with a lot of the professional teams, as you can see.
06:52In Hong Kong, of course, in Asia, we work with a lot of national teams like Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan.
06:57And we went to Lille to visit the Decathlon Fenris or Roubaix team in March this year.
07:05And, of course, in Hong Kong, at the end of the day, we're going to bring this to consumer.
07:09So, for those runners, sports enthusiasts, they can actually do it.
07:13And you can see it while we collaborate with Puma and Technogym in Hong Kong.
07:17So, that's a little bit.
07:19So, what's exciting is, like, right now, we're very focused on manufacturing.
07:22We have a lot of demands.
07:24So, next week, we actually go to Montpellier to have a demo meeting with the French Triathlon.
07:30And, yeah, feel free to join our waitlist here.
07:33Feel free to scan, because this is a very exciting opportunity for you to be part of our beta list.
07:38And let's see how JB's data is.
07:45So, yep.
07:46So, right now, we're minoring the data right live from the phone.
07:50So, you can see JB starts going up.
07:52He starts sweating.
07:53He starts getting tired.
07:54So, you want to go for more or that's it?
07:58So, yeah.
08:00So, that's the fun thing.
08:02So, you can see when it starts going up.
08:03So, now, when we see, okay, when we finish it, you can get the data right away.
08:09And you can see before, when people needs to plot it out, okay, when we save, we have our AI
08:15to actually predict and analyze the data in real time.
08:18Where's the threshold?
08:19How is the performance?
08:21And then give the report right away.
08:22So, this really saves up a lot of time for those sports enthusiasts when catching up on how they want
08:28to train every single day.
08:30Right?
08:30So, it takes a little bit of time.
08:32So, after finish, you can see, because what JB is doing right now is cycling.
08:36But for those, we also do it in the treadmill.
08:39So, okay, now it's workout safe.
08:41Yep.
08:41We can see the regular data right away.
08:44So, yeah.
08:45So, essentially, we can see where is the recovery, where is the threshold detections, and so on.
08:50And when we see for running, probably there's something that you guys more related.
08:56Because that's, if people run marathon, one thing they want to know is like, what's their marathon training and threshold
09:03time.
09:04So, essentially, we provide what is the marathon prediction time.
09:07So, okay.
09:07So, now you're at 326.
09:09So, if you want to improve, you've got to know where is the zone one, zone two endurance, where is
09:15the tempo run, and that's essentially what our device provides.
09:19So, if you can see there, where is the green one is obviously zone one, zone two, and then when
09:25you go up, you go to the red zones, and then the recovery.
09:28So, this is exactly the task that we're going to be doing and bringing it to the consumer.
09:33So, everyone, not only professionals can do it, but everyone from the consumer can get the data from this PointFit
09:41Ace.
09:41So, ladies and gentlemen, this is not only about the future of another wearable, but we're bringing in a new
09:46foundation of biotech, where you're bringing in not only heart rate, but modular biochemical sectors that you can get from
09:53your skin.
09:54JB is sweating.
09:55So, that's out from PointFit.
09:57And we'll be there to have a chat with you, happy.
10:00We'll also be in the booth there.
10:01So, thank you so much.
10:05Yep.
10:07Yep.
10:07Hi.
10:10Sure, yeah.
10:11We'll be right there.
10:13Yep.
10:18Ten seconds for the picture.
10:25Wow.
10:25Ten minutes.
10:27Just right here.
10:28Like this.
10:29Like this.
10:30And high intensity.
10:32Okay, sorry.
10:33Sorry, I got it.
10:35Take your time.
10:38Have a go.
10:41This is PointFit technology.
10:44Thank you, Kenny, and your...
10:47All your team.
10:48All your team.
10:48I'm gonna be negative.
10:51I'm gonna be with you.
10:51I'm gonna be.
10:51All your team.
10:51All your team.
10:52All your team.
10:52I'm gonna be innovative.
10:53All your team.
10:53All my team.
