00:08XAI, now owned by SpaceX, according to CNBC. The NAACP filed the suit in April, claiming XAI
00:16violated the federal Clean Air Act by powering its Memphis Area AI data centers with methane
00:21gas-burning turbines without proper permits or pollution controls. SpaceX's Colossus 1 and 2
00:26data centers near Memphis have faced over a year of protests over air pollution, resource
00:31consumption, and noise. The DOJ's Environment and Natural Resources Division filed a motion
00:37on June 15th, accusing the NAACP of threatening national security by seeking to cut power to
00:44AI operations supporting military functions. SpaceX debuted on NASDAQ last Friday, topping
00:50$2 trillion in market cap and surpassed a $2.8 trillion valuation on Tuesday.
