00:00Let me show you these odds and get your reaction to it.
00:03We've got the Celtics at plus 210.
00:06They are favored over the NBA champion Knicks.
00:09And then it's just anybody's guess beyond that.
00:11Detroit at plus 750.
00:13The Cavs at 11 to 1.
00:15Indiana at 13 to 1.
00:17And as you astutely mentioned yesterday, the Heat have now climbed to 16 to 1.
00:22And so if they were to land Giannis, this is going to go down in the 10s.
00:27And if they don't, they will disappear from this graphic.
00:30Good morning, Kevin.
00:32Yeah, good morning to you guys.
00:34It's interesting.
00:35Miami, we're starting to hear are forming backup plans.
00:40If they don't land Giannis, Trae Young's name mentioned.
00:45That is, even if you like Trae Young, which I do, there's a big gap between those two players.
00:51I don't know if that should be concerning that Miami is thinking backup plan.
00:56And maybe it means Boston's in the driver's seat.
00:58I'm not sure it's possible.
01:00I think as far as the Eastern Conference odds, what stands out to me, silly enough, is actually Orlando and
01:09Atlanta.
01:10And it's because last year, they were both kind of off-season darlings and had top five odds.
01:18And they've obviously now moved way back.
01:21And I just wonder what percentage of that is Boston and Indiana are expected to be healthy coming into a
01:29season.
01:30And how much of that is just them having these disappointing seasons.
01:34And I just think one other quick piece with the East, because we've talked about Giannis to Miami.
01:39Now, that'll move the market.
01:41If they are not right now pricing Giannis into the Boston number, are we talking about an even-money favorite
01:50to win a conference before July?
01:54Like, is that where we're headed if Giannis does end up as a Celtic?
01:58Just something certainly to keep an eye on.
