00:00We start big picture and then we break it down step-by-step. Let's look at those

00:07NBA title odds entering this new year and we start at the top with the reigning

00:11champs the Boston Celtics plus 310 before a single minute of NBA regular

00:17season action has even began plus 310 for Boston. The reigning champs are half

00:23the price of everybody else in the association. So Kev let's start with the

00:29C's. Is the price justified? Do you believe it is cashable at the end of

00:34this season? The Boston Celtics you could argue are on a tier of their own. There

00:41is no team who has done more and feels safer, right? Oklahoma City is kind of

00:48viewed in that similar tier. That team has only won one playoff series together.

00:52I think the 76ers roster is just as good as Boston's except I have no

00:57confidence that the 76ers roster will be ready to go when the playoffs are

01:02getting underway. You can justify Boston's number but I can't bet Boston's

01:10number. That Celtic team has never really been for me and it's hard to win 60

01:18games in consecutive seasons. A lot has to go right and the Celtics last season

01:23didn't have outlier health luck. They had everybody play about what you would

01:28anticipate and that includes Chris Stapps who missed a ton of games. Well

01:32guess who's not playing tonight? Chris Stapps because Chris Stapps thing is now

01:37missing a ton of games. So the Celtics are deserving of the title best team in

01:42basketball but it doesn't mean I have to run to the window and bet their numbers.

01:46So let's go to the other prices then. As you see it there OKC second shortest

01:51number at plus 650 and Kev after that the next seven prices separated by seven

01:57and a half bucks. If you include the Suns at 20 to 1 to round out the top nine

02:02we've got a group of teams jumbled separated by just about 13 and a half

02:08dollars. That is not a ton of big plus money value but where do you see

02:12yourself potentially diving in? So the Dallas Mavericks is what jumps off the

02:17page to me. I actually kind of went into my preview process not thinking I

02:22would be on Dallas. I mean Ben you see how I work with the college football

02:25slate. I kind of carried in everything right. Buy low sell high. Buy low sell

02:29high. Wow I bought low on Dallas last year. Time to sell high. Nope keep buying.

02:34Keep on buying. I love this roster. Jason Kidd by the way who people said was a

02:39terrible head coach has been to the conference finals two of his three

02:43seasons with the Dallas Mavericks. Jason Kidd is continuously producing

02:48good defenses and I think one of the biggest things the Mavericks did it's

02:51not bring in Clay Thompson it's now bringing in P.J. Washington and Daniel

02:55Gafford for full seasons and getting Derek Lively who has some juice

02:59potentially in that most improved player market for his sophomore season while

03:04having one of the four best players in basketball in Luka Doncic. I just I look

03:10at Dallas at 11 to 1 and that is a number that I can absolutely get to.
