Carl taunts Tyrone by saying that he's having flashbacks of the night he was injured. Tyrone worries that he knows the truth. Tyrone tells Carl that he injured him by accident. He suggests they call it quits as he got away with the hit-and-run but Carl refuses. When he produces the incriminating video from that night on his phone, Carl realises he'd go down for a more serious crime if he reported Tyrone and backs down.

00:00Kai. See you.
00:01Yes.
00:02Well, steady.
00:03Enough pain as it is without you having any sort of injury.
00:06Well, I'm not adding anything to anything.
00:08I just want to get these back to the garage.
00:09Yeah, don't mention the garage.
00:11See, I keep getting flashbacks to the night I got there.
00:14You know when Theo got offed?
00:17Yeah.
00:17Yeah, just little snatches here and there, sights and sounds, and...
00:22Would you believe the one place that keeps popping up is the garage?
00:27So?
00:28So what?
00:28So why do you think that is?
00:31Because I reckon you know better than anyone.
00:34Look, all I know is I want to get these back to the garage before they go cold.
00:37So excuse me.
00:43You took your time?
00:45Just be grateful I'm here. I'm not at a cop shop.
00:48So?
00:49We need to talk.
00:51That's what you said in your text.
00:52About what, I wonder?
00:54Hmm?
00:54How about that time I was left wearing a flaming hatchback for a belt, maybe?
01:00Thought so.
01:01Well, if it's forgiveness you're after, you're gonna have to take it up with your God.
01:05Only thing left for us to settle down here is which of us calls the police.
01:08Right, you know what, I'll be my guest.
01:10You don't mean that.
01:12Ty, I know it was you.
01:14I worked it out from what you said in the pub the other day, and you're facing the cafe this
01:18morning.
01:18All the confirmation I needed.
01:21Nothing to say?
01:24Well, I suppose it's not your usual role, is it?
01:26Villain of the peace is generally my job.
01:29Although, it does feel weird, you know, being the innocent victim for a change.
01:33Oh, you're not innocent.
01:34And you're not denying anything.
01:37No.
01:38No, I admit.
01:39I did it.
01:40But not on purpose.
01:41Right, just like you didn't run me over on purpose.
01:43Oh, and didn't you let me know about it, eh?
01:45You gave me non-stop grief for months about that, and you're gonna do the exact same thing.
01:49If you could, don't cover it.
01:50Well, why don't we just say it makes us even then?
01:53No.
01:54No way.
01:55Real world don't work like that, Chief.
01:57I got away with it.
01:58You won't be so lucky.
02:00And if you think I'm gonna just, just let you off the hook,
02:02because you dropped me off at the hospital, then...
02:04I didn't...
02:05You what?
02:07You didn't?
02:11Ah...
02:11Of course.
02:12New best pal Ronnie.
02:14That's where he fits in.
02:15Right.
02:16I'll be paying him a visit, too, then.
02:17Once I'm into the police station.
02:19Well, I wouldn't do that if I was you.
02:21Because I've got a film of exactly what happened on here.
02:24I think that's what's known as evidence, mate.
02:26I won't be advertising that.
02:28But it does show that I'm not the only criminal caught in the act.
02:36I mean, it's not gonna win any Oscars, is it?
02:39But as a mechanic, it's clear to see what you're doing.
02:41That's not a routine service.
02:44You left me for dead.
02:45I'm not gonna let you get away with our attempted murder.
02:48Is it?
02:49Because the film clearly shows that it was an accident.
02:52So I might get done for some kind of assault, yeah.
02:55But what you're doing, after the threats you made to Kev,
02:59I'd say that's attempted murder in anyone's book.
