00:21During the period from 24th April 2017 to 23rd July 2019,
00:28TNTech entered several payment plans with Flavorite to liquidate their rears.
00:34Flavorite breached every single payment plan.
00:37And yet, and yet, no action was taken against Mr Montal and his company.
00:43Compare that and contrast it to the ordinary citizens of this land,
00:46that when you don't pay a bill, you go in darkness.
01:02Mr Seeker, what emerged hereafter, will shock the conscience of this parliament and every right-thinking citizen.
01:25And then we got this very shocking revelation from the registrar of the Supreme Court.
01:31The lawyers found no application for default judgment against Flavorite on the file.
01:39No application for default judgment against Flavorite.
01:50Did Mr Scotland fraudulently misrepresent that he had filed two applications for judgment in default of events
01:57against Mr Montal's company, Flavorite?
02:00And created the impression that it was the court's registrar who was at fault
02:06by delaying the signing of a default judgment?
02:15I have instructed the Minister of Public Utilities, the Honourable Barry Padua,
02:19to ask TNTech to institute legal proceedings against Mrs Scotland.
02:43And his chambers for fraudulent misrepresentation, professional negligence, and breach of contract.
03:02I have also directed that this matter be reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Fraud Squad
03:16and also to the ACIB, Anti-Corruption Bureau.
03:26For investigation and to determine whether criminal charges should be laid for conspiracy
03:32to defraud TNTech, misrepresentance, and corruption.
03:50That protected list, I'm advised, meant that TNTech must not, should not disconnect persons
03:56who were lucky enough to be on that list, even though they did not pay their bills.
