In this video, I'll show how to fix Steam disk write error. Pay attention to all of the steps shown in the video, as there are several details which can help you to fix this problem.

Right-click on the Steam icon
Click on "Exit" to completely exit Steam

Go to the Steam folder (Default path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
Scroll down
Find "steam"
Select "steam"
Right-click it
Click on Properties
Click on Compatibility
Check the option to "Run this program as administrator"
Click on Apply
Click on OK

Delete your Steam shortcuts
Create a new shortcut using the chacnged Steam executable, which was changed in the previous steps

Open Steam
In the top-left corner, click on "Steam"
Click on Settings
Click on Downloads
Scroll down
On Steam Download Cache, click on Clear Cache

Open Steam
In the top-left corner, click on "Steam"
Click on Settings
Click on Storage
Select the drive in which you have your video games installed
Click on the three dots
Click on Repair Library

Right-click on the game
Click on Manage
Click on Uninstall
Download the game again

Press the WINDOWS key or click on the WINDOWS icon
Write "Add or remove programs"
Click on Add or remove programs
Click on "Search"
Write "Steam"
Find Steam
Click on the three dots
Click on uninstall
Download Steam again
Reinstall Steam

00:00Right-click on Steam and click on Exit Steam.

01:26Steam. Find Steam, click on the three dots and you can uninstall Steam if it's not working for you.
01:34And reinstall Steam.
01:37Restart your computer.
