00:00At number one, Wreck-It Ralph.
00:01Ralph, a video game villain, tired of being the bad guy,
00:05leaves his arcade game to earn a hero's medal and prove his worth,
00:09causing chaos across multiple game worlds.
00:11Along the way, he befriends the glitchy racer Vanellope
00:14and learns that being a hero isn't about labels,
00:17but about self-acceptance and helping others,
00:20ultimately saving her game and embracing his role.
00:22My younger son goes,
00:23Did you play this game when you were a kid?
00:25That's a reasonable question.
00:26Wreck-It Ralph isn't a real game.
00:27It is now.
00:28They made a real game to promote the thing,
00:30and it's modeled after a lot of these classic arcade games.
00:33It's a great fake game,
00:35and it got to put you into this video game world from Mario to Sonic.
00:39All of the games are connected,
00:40and they're all experiencing a similar existence as game characters.
00:45This is one of those few films that had an incredible promotional campaign,
00:48and then the film actually lived up to the greatness of the f***ing promotions.
