00:20The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela informs the national and international community
00:24of a new oil spill originating from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

00:31This incident is larger in scale than one that occurred in May
00:35and confirms that pollutions are drifting into Venezuela's waters,
00:39posing risks to marine ecosystem fishing activities.
00:43In light of this situation, the competent agencies of Venezuela's state
00:48have activated the necessary monitoring and mitigation protocols to protect affected coasts.
00:53Venezuela demands that the government of Trinidad and Tobago
00:57fully assume its responsibility by taking immediate measure to prevent further incidents
01:01and ensuring full transparency regarding the causes, scope and the consequences of this spill.
