00:17I don't know if he's just saying that to sort of plant something in Pereira's mind or, you know, or
00:24if he actually said too much.
00:25Because the irony of it is, guys, as good as Francis Ngannou is and as scary as Ngannou is, Ngannou
00:31was having big problems with Cyril Ghosn.
00:33And Ngannou was not known as a wrestler, guys.
00:36And Ngannou said, screw this.
00:38I have no choice.
00:39I'm getting carved up here.
00:41I have no choice but to, like, press this guy against the fence and, like, I got to try to,
00:46like, just ugly this up and take him down to survive.
00:49And I almost think that Ghosn learned something from that and is thinking, you know what?
00:54I'm bigger than Pereira is.

00:58I'm just going to take the guy down and fall on top of him.

01:30He took him down, blah, blah.
01:32But if you watch his recent fights at light heavyweight, you know, Jan took him down and had some control

01:39But in doing so, he gassed himself out.
01:42And then Poetan took over in that fight.
01:45The Ankaliev fight, Ankaliev shot for 15 takedowns in the first fight.
01:50I think he landed one.
01:52And Poetan's got a really nasty guillotine.
01:55And if Ghosn sticks his head in there, I could see Poetan wrapping that guillotine in it.
01:59And that being it, it looked like the Jon Jones fight all over again.
02:02So I don't think him going to the grappling is going to be a smart game plan.
02:06I just think Poetan's defense, his defensive jiu-jitsu was too good.
02:11He's going to work his way back up.
02:12I think they're going to stand and trade.
02:15It's going to be kind of a tit-for-tat type fight.
02:18The difference between Ngannou and Pereira is Pereira is a much more technical striker.
02:24So, you know, Ngannou's a big-time power guy.
02:26He's got some good boxing.
02:28But he's not as technical as Pereira.
02:30So I think it's going to be really close.
02:33The line's close.
02:34But I don't know, man.
02:35I just think Pereira gets it done.
02:39I think he's going to, if he has to stuff a takedown or two, he will.
02:42But I think, you know, both guys have great leg kicks.
02:45I think Pereira's leg kicks are more damaging.
02:47I think he can get those leg kicks going.
02:50And I think he gets it done.
02:51And I think this one goes long, too.
02:54This one I'm looking forward to a lot.

03:04And then Ngannou sort of became a slight favorite.

03:12So I hate going against him, actually.
03:13But I've sort of, like, I am leaning with Ngannou here.
03:16I think the size difference.
03:17I think this is going to matter.
03:19And I think this is Ngannou's time.
03:21And also, we're on this big French run right now, guys.
03:25Paris Saint-Germain won.
03:28Victor Wembenyam is rolling along here in the NBA Finals.
03:32Team France in the World Cup could win.
03:35And then we got Cyril Ghosn.
03:37It could potentially be a French heavyweight champion.
03:40So there's a lot of little synergies here.
03:42But I can't wait for that fight.
03:43This is the one I'm looking most forward to.
