00:00Did Mike Brown prove to the world last night why analytics are stupid?
00:05Because last night, after playing 12 guys, essentially the entire bench last night,
00:10in the first half, because of the foul trouble to Cat early on,
00:13and we'll get to that in a moment as well,
00:15he did something last night in the second half in crunch time
00:18that he has not done for a single minute this entire season.
00:22And that's to have Jose Alvarado on the court at the same time as Jalen Brunson.
00:27That's not an analytical move.
00:29No.
00:29That's a gut move.
00:30That's a coach who said after the game, we needed speed.
00:34I was willing to trade size for speed to get the ball up the court
00:39because we're running out of time.
00:41And to me, Mike Brown, whether they win Saturday night
00:46or they wait until Tuesday or Friday, whatever it is,
00:48Mike Brown, I think, has delivered a Ph.D. Ivy League-level coaching clinic
00:56in this postseason.
00:58And deserves all the accolades for doing exactly that.
01:01Hold on.
