00:01Police deployed a water cannon against protesters in Belfast late on Wednesday
00:06as violence continued for a second night over a knife attack earlier this week.
00:11The clashes started after a Sudanese asylum seeker was charged with the attack
00:16that left the victims seriously injured, triggering anti-immigration violence.
00:20Protests were encouraged online by far-right activists
00:24and the street violence erupted despite politicians' calls for calm.

00:50also appealed for calm and warned against using the tragedy to divide people or fuel hostility.
