00:08with fraudulent claims under the Dayakajaya 2.0 Employment Incentive Programme.
00:13The suspects, 48 men and 25 women aged between their 20s and 70s, were detained last Tuesday
00:20at MACC offices nationwide in a coordinated integrated operation carried out in collaboration
00:25with the social security organisation, Perkeso.
00:28During the operation, raids were carried out at 90 locations involving company premises
00:33across the country.
00:34Intelligence-gathering efforts that led to the crackdown began as far back as November
00:38last year, focusing on 143 company premises and involving 320 individuals nationwide.
00:45Investigators believed the suspects submitted false claims for government wage incentives
00:49worth RM1,500 per month over six months for each worker, claims that were allegedly fabricated
00:55or inflated.
00:56The alleged offences are believed to have been committed between 2024 and 2025.
01:03MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Aman confirmed the arrests, stating the case
01:08is being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
