00:00craft of photography and so our goal for bringing ai into the photos app is to help photographers
00:06enhance their images in ways that respect the original moment and now photos can tap into the
00:13new more powerful image models of apple intelligence to make incredible edits possible
00:19we have three features to help make your compositions frame worthy first the popular
00:27cleanup tool is getting a big upgrade so you can remove distractions with better quality and more
00:33realistic infill even when the scene is complex like this next sometimes you wish you had a little
00:42more space around your subject but you need a different aspect ratio for a project now you can
00:47expand your images with the extend tool to give your subjects more breathing room or to straighten
00:53a crooked horizon without cropping out anything important and we have one more super impressive
01:01new editing tool one that builds on cleanup and extend and our deep understanding of spatial models
01:08thanks to apple vision pro have you ever looked at a photo and wished you would have had more time
01:14to
01:14think about the composition when you captured it maybe you accidentally framed a sign above someone's
01:19head or the photo would have been more symmetrical if you had stepped to the right or you missed eye
01:25contact with your subject by a fraction of a second now with spatial reframing you can fix all these things
01:32after the photo was taken let me show you how it works let's take a look at a picture i
01:38recently took of my
01:39kids i love this cute photo of my son and daughter celebrating their last day of school
01:45i wish i had spent more time thinking about the framing when i tap edit you'll see a new tools
01:53option in the lower right here i'll find all the editing features that use our apple intelligence
01:59image models and private cloud compute including spatial reframing let's tap reframe once the image
02:08loads you'll see that the ui is super simple you can interact with the photo directly to adjust the
02:13framing i can touch drag and the perspective shifts as if i had repositioned the camera in the
02:21original scene this capability uses on device spatial models so you can preview the effect in real time
02:30and as you adjust the photo you'll see a blur around the edges of the original image which will be
02:35filled in
02:36later by our generative models and i can pinch to zoom in closer and there that looks great now i'll
02:47tap a reframe
02:49this feature is super cool because it combines our advanced on device spatial models with our powerful
02:56image generation model on private cloud compute to create the final photo and even better it only generates
03:03new content to fill in the gaps where the perspective has been shifted this ensures that the reframe photo
03:09stays consistent with the original scene here's the final result and it looks great
