00:00Get there by 2 o'clock.
00:01So that's the beauty of these tournaments that run that way.
00:04And it'll be great television if you're thinking about, obviously, the NBA.
00:09Sandra, Game 5 is going to be on Saturday night on ABC.
00:16Saturday night.
00:16They've been there two nights between.
00:18After tonight, no more day off and then play again.
00:21So it's two nights between each.
00:23So it'll be Saturday night on ABC.
00:25And I believe Saturday, ESPN, same time, will be the Georgia game.
00:28So we'll just check to confirm that as well.
00:31But a series certainly taken on a life of its own, to say the least.
00:35Drake London got in front of the media yesterday.
00:37Listen, I did my rankings of all-time Falcon-wide receivers in history last week.
00:43And we'll see where Drake London lands all time, right?
00:48He's already one of the top six receivers in the history in terms of skill level.
00:53You've put him up there with Andre Risen, Michael Haynes, Julio Jones, Roddy White, Terrence Mathis.
01:03I guess these are the guys that are the most renowned.
01:05I think on a skill level-wise, he's closer to Julio and Roddy than just about anybody.
01:09And Andre Risen and his numbers, when you think about the fact that he has not had a consistent head
01:14coach throughout the whole time,
01:16offensive coordinator throughout the whole time, and as many folks will remind you, a quarterback that he could get comfortable
01:22with.
01:22Which is, listen, don't cry for me, Argentina.
01:24He talks about it coming up.
01:26You know, Kirk Cousins is not – you know, Kirk Cousins had moments.
01:30He's thrown for 400 yards, multiple, three, 400 yards for the Falcons.
01:33But there just hasn't been a level of consistency from Mariota, Ritter, Cousins, Penix, Haneke – what's the other kid's
01:45name?
01:46Haneke, Tyler Haneke?
01:47Tyler Haneke.
01:47Yeah, so he's just never had anything consistent, and that's obviously one of the reasons why the Falcons' offense has
01:54been one of the worst in the National Football League.
01:55That's what we've been.
01:56We have a pedestrian offense that have two players, really, that we counted on, Bajon and Drake London, and that's,
02:03you know, whoever's throwing the ball knows.
02:05If I throw it up in the air anywhere near Drake London, we've got a great chance to have a
02:09completion.
02:09But it has not been a level of consistency.
02:12Great job with the media yesterday.
02:13They really had a thorough back and forth with Drake, who made it clear after signing a really big, fat
02:20deal, he does not care.
02:22He's not playing favorites on who throws him the football.
02:26Actually, I saw that not too long ago on social media.
02:29I didn't even know that that happened with the whole quarterback thing.
02:34But, again, I've said this before, and I pride myself on just whoever throws me the ball, I'm supposed to
02:39catch it.
02:39So I don't really care where you throw it, how you're throwing it, what it looks like, who it's from.
02:44If you throw it in my vicinity, it should be my ball.
02:47Great way to look at it.
02:49I assume that they were referencing the fact.
02:51Yeah, they said you haven't had a consistent quarterback from year to year.
02:55The numbers that suggested that he's, you know, that it's been a rocky road trying to find any level of,
03:02you know, karma when your quarterback is not going to be.
03:07Although him and Michael Penix, I think, have a great relationship from everything I've heard.
03:10And so does Kyle Pitts with Michael Penix.
03:12I think they really like him.
03:13They do.
03:14And they really hope that that could have worked.
03:16He also talked about being the third highest paid wide receiver in the National Football League.
03:24Obviously, there's going to be a wait.
03:26And then, too, the numbers are public.
03:29I mean, everybody can see what you're making, and everybody has an opinion about that stuff.
03:33So, obviously, there's a natural wait, but that's just what comes with this sport.
03:37And, honestly, I'm blessed to have that wait on my back right now.
03:40So, just, again, going back to I've got to level up in every single way in every category.
03:47So, that's my goal right now.
03:49You know, when you listen to Drake London, you think of the anti-diva.
03:53That is the ultimate diva position.
03:55I mean, you know, wide receivers not only can be a lot, they can also be incredibly disruptive.
04:00See a number of guys over the years.
04:03Randy Moss, God bless him, but he found his way out of a number of towns because he was unhappy.
04:07Terrell Owens, we know the history of him.
04:09We know Andre Risen, what he was like.
04:11Julio was kind of the anti-problem.
04:14He just kind of kept quiet and went out and did his job.
04:17But wide receivers can be an issue.
04:19When you listen to him, you go, that guy is well-grounded, well-brought-up,
04:23and he brought up his parents in the press conference and talked about one of the reasons he has that
04:27mindset is how he grew up.
04:28Yeah, I'd just say my parents, at the moment, are probably the biggest help.
04:34They've always been my whole life.
04:37And then my girl, too.
04:39I would say my girlfriend has helped me a ton, keeping me grounded and level-headed and just a person
04:46to talk to every night.
04:47So, yeah, they've been amazing.
04:50The Falcons went to the parents and the girlfriend and asked them what Drake meant to them as a family.
04:58So they showed it to him on camera, and he started to cry, just get emotional.
05:02It was just as raw as it is.
05:04Folks don't remember, because you don't see him so close, but when I first saw Drake London two years ago,
05:11State, that's 6'4", 220, walking towards you.
05:15Like, he is a beast.
05:17And he sacrifices his body, probably to a fault, but he's got to have so much respect from his teammates
05:24of, like, I'm going to get that ball.
05:26I'm going to attack the ball.
05:27Catch the ball.
05:28Yeah, that's a great way to put it.
05:29He is, any ball that is a 50-50 ball, he's one of the best I've ever seen in terms
05:36of going to get it, especially at its peak, right, at its highest point.
05:39But the least surprising thing to me last year was that he got injured because it was so obvious with
05:47that absolutely clown show going on with the west of the wide receivers.
05:52Ray Ray McLeod off the team, Darnell Mooney injured, and then came back as soft a wide receiver as you
05:58could have in Darnell last year, just, you know, dropping balls, not committing himself.
06:04Then he had a bunch of guys that really hadn't played in the league.
06:07It was like every ball had to go to Drake London, and I kept thinking, like, he's getting doubled.
06:12He doesn't have accurate quarterbacks for the most part in Cousins and Penix last year.
06:16Like, these guys were not sharp.
06:18And he is getting hammered.
06:20And when he finally went down, I was like, of course that was going to happen.
06:23Like, you know, you're targeting him in every big play.
06:25And at some point—
06:26Yeah, you're not fooling anybody who's getting the ball.
06:28Not with the rest of that group.
06:30Not the rest of that group.
06:31So, like, give him some help.
06:33I think they went and did that with Dotson and Zachariah and Kyle Pitts now looks like that, you know,
06:39he's never been more comfortable, especially playing now for a big contract.
06:42And obviously giving more carries to Bijan.
06:45And don't put him in harm's way.
06:47But last year, I mean, this guy is an absolute beast.
06:51So, makes all the sense in the world.
06:52You lock him up.
06:53You lock Bijan up.
06:54But again, is there going to be a playoff moment, right?
06:57Roddy White had his playoff moments.
06:58Julio's had his playoff moments.
06:59I guess Andre Rison did in the playoff one, I think, with Michael Haynes.
07:03He was on that team.
07:05I think he needs to be in the playoffs.
07:07Yeah.
07:08Right.
07:09He hasn't been close.
07:11You can't have a playoff moment if you're never in the playoffs, right?
07:16So, but again, you can have all these great players.
07:19I mean, if you don't have a quarterback and you're not playing in big games.
07:23I mean, we don't even play in big games in December.
07:25Like, last year, that's funny that we won four in a row at the end.
07:28And we were the first team that felt like eliminated.
07:30And lost the division in a tie blaker to Carolina.
07:32I mean, it's just a company of errors.
07:33But we were eliminated at four and nine.
07:35I mean, we were eliminated five, six weeks before that, right?
07:39The fact that we were sitting at four and nine last year.
07:42I don't care what the final number was.
07:44That was a disaster last year.
07:47An absolute disaster.
07:49And you know how much they cared about that winning streak at the end of the year?
07:52You know how much they cared?
07:53Fire Raheem Morris.
07:54Fire Terry Fontenot.
07:55Fire the quarterback who brought them those wins.
07:58Kirk Cousins.
07:59We don't care.
08:00Which is exactly how you should have been.
08:02Those are the four meaningless wins of meaningless wins.
08:05You were eliminated in November.
08:07Okay?
08:08And Drake London was banged up as well.
