00:00PAS has appointed Central Committee member Anwar Musa as its Johor Election Director ahead of the state polls.

00:08Johor PAS Information Chief Firdaus Jaffa said the state chapter welcomed the appointment,

00:14expressing confidence that Anwar's experience and leadership would strengthen the party's preparations for the state election.

00:21In a statement today, he said as the election draws nearer,

00:24the entire Johor PAS machinery is urged to further strengthen internal unity, enhance its operational efforts, and focus fully on

00:33election preparations.

00:34Firdaus also said Johor PAS unanimously endorsed the party leadership's decision to end political cooperation with Bersatu at a special

00:43meeting held yesterday.

00:45The Johor Legislative Assembly was dissolved on June 1.

00:49The Election Commission is scheduled to be tomorrow to set key dates for both the Johor and Negeri Sembilan state

00:55elections.
