00:00I've been Shrek'd.
00:01I've never done Shrek'ing.
00:02You better find some expectations.
00:04I'm being a little cat.
00:06Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:10All righty.
00:13What do we, what is it, let me do this first.
00:15It's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:18Rest easy, we've got you covered.
00:20Bayalarm.com.
00:21I don't think I can say it, Dibs.
00:24Say what?
00:25That thing, the guy goes, let's get ready.
00:27Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
00:29no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:29You can't.
00:30I stopped.
00:31I stopped.
00:32I haven't been Guru tomorrow.
00:34We've got the microphone coming down from the ceiling.
00:37Why is that, though, Dibs?
00:39He's got copyrights on that phrase, plus one that has to do with cookies, when cookies deteriorate,
00:45and it's a word that rhymes with rumble, so you can't say a phrase that involves a cookie crumbling.
00:53My son used to write that.
00:54You can't.
00:55There's like six or seven of them.
00:56Check your work emails.
00:58What about ice?
00:58Wait a minute.
00:59Fumble or bumble.
01:00They all work today.
01:02Right.
01:02I'm sorry.
01:03I'm just getting ready to fumble.
01:04No, no, no, no, no.
01:05Why?
01:06That one might be copyrighted, too.
01:07He did not come up with, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
01:11No, but he was able to copyright the phrase, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, crumble.
01:17Okay, can I, like, is hit the pike taken?
01:19I don't think so.
01:21No, you can get that.
01:21You can go get it.
01:22So I get that, and then nobody else can say it?
01:24It's expensive.
01:25Yeah, you just have to go get it.
01:26Boss, I'm in here doing, I'm doing the Lord's work, boss.
01:29Why?
01:29It's a...
01:30I didn't finish it.
01:31It's a Johnny, uh, what's it?
01:32You gotta be capped.
01:33Oh, whoa.
01:33Odyssey legal.
01:34Johnny, uh, not Johnny Diamond.
01:36I can't remember our legal guy's name.
01:38They send out this every year.
01:39Just so you know.
01:40You can't say this, you can't say that.
01:42Uh, there was an expression from the movie, Dirty Dancing, when, um, the character Baby
01:48gets put in a certain location.
01:51That's copyrighted.
01:52You can't even say, you know, something about Baby and where she is relocated, so.
01:57I'll tell you what.
01:58You gotta keep your head on a swivel.
01:59No.
02:00When it comes to other people's pee-pee.
02:01I don't know what the phrases are that you're talking about.
02:04I'll tell you off the air.
02:05You know what I mean?
02:05I know every last one of them.
02:07I'm gonna text you.
02:07I'm ready to test the system.
02:09Yeah, you don't.
02:10You're, you're like that guy that just, uh, what's that movie?
02:15Give it to me.
02:16It's either Tim Robbins or someone like that.
02:19Like, at the start of the movie, he walks in on his wife, cheating on him.
02:23And then.
02:24It's Robbins.
02:25I forget the name.
02:26Timothy Robbins?
02:27He's driving around.
02:28He gets, like, someone tries to carjack him.
02:30And he's like, you messing with the wrong thing.
02:33Because I don't even know what happens.
02:35He's like, it doesn't matter.
02:37Yeah, shoot me.
02:38I don't care what happens.
02:39Shawshank starts, too.
02:40He, uh, he gets cheated on in that one.
02:43Not to mention falling down.
02:45One of my all-time favorites.
02:46He tries to get breakfast at 1045.
02:49Sorry, sir.
02:49We stopped at 1030.
02:51Excuse me while I get my automatic weapons.
02:53Michael Douglas?
02:54Yes.
02:55Okay.
02:55Phenomenal.
02:56Yeah.
02:56Hey, Will, we're good, right?
02:58Of course we're good.
02:58Yeah, Stiney said him and Dems were texted this time yesterday to him.
03:02I like that.
03:04If Stiney was actually returning a text spot, it's a wonderful moment.
03:06There's no way.
03:07I didn't return it.
03:08I just got it.
03:09Okay.
03:09But what happened, Will?
03:10He looked at it and he smiled.
03:11Stiney and I got into it.
03:13He won't admit it.
03:14And I took it out on you and the Wimby thing.
03:16So I know where it came from.
03:17It doesn't matter.
03:18No, Dad.
03:18We had a conversation.
03:20I mean, my gosh.
03:21He was.
03:21So did Wimby make a mistake on that pass in game two?
03:25I think he's a joke artist, Stiney.
03:29What are they doing outside New York?
03:30We just got into it.
03:31Stiney says it happens everywhere.
03:33But these videos are the fans just beating up Spurs fans dibs.
03:36I'm not with that.
03:37And we didn't do that when the Warriors were on their runs.
03:40We don't get down like that.
03:41We got problems in the Bay.
03:42And I don't know if you guys.
03:44It looks like something out of Batman.
03:46It's not cool.
03:47We didn't do that here.
03:49You could wear your jersey.
03:49You get something.
03:50But not what's going on in New York.
03:52Well, I mean, I hate to side with Stiney, but we do do that here.
03:56Maybe not at Chase Center.
03:58Maybe not in Warrior Games.
03:59But there actually was a case where a Dodger fan got killed out at Oracle Park about, I
04:06don't know, 11 years ago.
04:07It was after the Brian Stowe tragedy in L.A.
04:09So these things do happen.
04:11And we've been lucky, though, with the Warriors.
04:14I can't remember any of them.
04:15Stiney was a good line earlier.
04:16And it's because you'd never lost at home in the playoffs.
04:19I thought that was pretty funny.
04:21Didn't the Raiders and the 49ers stop playing preseason games?
04:25That happened.
04:26That happened.
04:26That's hard.
04:27No one's immune.
04:28Yeah.
04:28Let's get to last night, though.
04:29Let's do it.
04:30Which one?
04:32Your poll.
04:33Talk about the poll you just put out on Twitter.
04:35And who won?
04:36What won on the poll?
04:37I just put it out there.
04:38So there's no winner yet.
04:39It's going to go more toward the end of the show.
04:41He's the answer to this.
04:42But everybody, I would love everybody to go vote on it.
04:44And that way, you know what I mean?
04:46We'll get a nice random sample.
04:48But what bothered you most about the Giants game last night?
04:51The four options being taking out Webb.
04:54Okay.
04:55Making Keaton Wynn the choice.
04:58Not walking C.J. Abrams after the pass ball.
05:02Or something else.
05:04How would you answer, partner?
05:05Of those three, I'd probably say the number three.
05:09Not walking Abrams.
05:10Yeah.
05:11Mine is Wynn.
05:12He was done.
05:13And that's funny.
05:14Mine was Webb.
05:15Yeah.
05:16And I know you have an interesting take with regard to that beat.
05:20You want Webb to be more forceful.
05:22No doubt.
05:22Or was he covering up for his rookie match?
05:26But why would he cover up dibs?
05:28Why would he have to if they had a convo?
05:30Well, he didn't have to.
05:31But I think he was honest when he said, you know, Tony asked me if I'm okay.
05:36And I said, yeah, but it's your call.
05:37And so the call was made.
05:39And I wonder if the call wasn't already made when he got the handshake from the pitching coach
05:43when he walked into the dugout.
05:44Could that have pissed him off?
05:45Evan brought that up earlier.
05:47I don't know why.
05:48It could have because you've thrown 99 pitches and you're absolutely dealing.
05:51And he's been around almost all year.
05:54And he's seen what this bullpen is.
05:56So if you're looking for a rare win as Logan Webb, or, you know, you're already getting caned, right?
06:02It's three to one.
06:04And you had to scratch and claw to get three.
06:06Three runs is three times what they gave him last out.
06:08Wow.
06:09Wow.
06:09So I'm sure he was a little frustrated.
06:11But at the same time, you don't want to throw the skip under the bus.
06:15And it might be partly third start back from the injury.
06:18I mean, imagine, I guess what's the other scenario?
06:21Now we're in the clubhouse after the game.
06:23Hey, Logan, did you want to stay in?
06:25You're damn right I did.
06:27And I told him so.
06:29Like, if he says that, now we've got a real, real issue.
06:35The only other scenario that popped into my head is what if the training staff had said,
06:43third start back, 100 pitch max.
06:46So he gets to 99, and Tony, or the staff, they're like, oh, gosh, we'd love to keep him in.
06:54And so then they go over to him and they say, hey, I know we're at our max, but what
06:59do you think?
07:00And he's kind of like, I'm okay, but it's up to you, sort of, because, like, I know we're not
07:04supposed to go.
07:05That was the only other scenario that popped into my head.
07:09But I don't really take Logan's words last night at face value.
07:12All right.
07:12And there it is.
07:13What about this thought I had?
07:16And it's, it's, he finishes the, why can't I think of this now?
07:22He finishes the eighth.
07:24Yeah.
07:26It's, yes.
07:27Okay, yes.
07:28He finishes the eighth.
07:28It's one to one.
07:30And that inning took a little longer, but once they got to three, and now they're up three, one.
07:37Like, could he have said, if it's one, one, I'm going to let it up to Logan.
07:41But now we're up three, one.
07:44I'm not, he's at 99.
07:46Our closer should be able to finish it off.
07:48Who's our closer?
07:49Exactly.
07:50Fair.
07:51A guy that you, they were in need of a closer.
07:53And they still are.
07:54And, and third consecutive night of a high leverage situation and not just third consecutive night, throw a plane flight
08:01from Chicago in just the night before.
08:03Or, you know, that's what I'm saying is if I'm a manager and it's one, one going into the ninth,
08:10I might be more open to open to thank you.
08:15Yeah.
08:16Webb deciding his own fate.
08:18Once they got it to three, one, maybe he was like, all right, now he's got the win.
08:23Let's, let's not chance it by having him.
08:26And that's what I think said Estes off.
08:28It's who you picked.
08:29You knew Dibbs was not, Dibbs was, he should have been.
08:32So who should he have picked?
08:34What about, we see it in baseball, Dylan Smith all the time.
08:37The reward for what he did out of nowhere.
08:39I wasn't familiar with him.
08:40Sunday.
08:40Hey, you're fresh, but we're not going to bring a guy whose arm is hanging.
08:45And that's why I think Sean Estes went, I loved every bit of it.
08:48And I hate he had to say it, but that's Vitello's job to know who's, Willard ain't available today.
08:54Hey, I'm, I'm also fascinated by the, okay, the arm was dragging.
08:59Okay.
09:00Now we know he pitched twice, but I got to believe the pitching coach meets with the manager and talks
09:08about the staff before every game.
09:12So like you might not have seen his arm was falling off until he threw three pitches.
09:17I don't even know that his arm was dragging.
09:19I don't know.
09:20I mean, he was, Killian was not available.
09:21If his arm was dragging, he would have not been available.
09:24But they made him available.
09:26But I, like, I agree with Estes.
09:29Not who I would.
09:29I would have stuck with Webb.
09:32To me, the traditional way to do this, if you're worried about a guy and a pitch count, you send
09:41him out there for the ninth.
09:42If he gives up a base runner, you're gone.
09:44All right.
09:45If you can, because that way you're like, I'm not letting you take, like, you're going to lose your win.
09:49The eighth was easy as far as pitches.
09:51With seven pitches, I think.
09:53You've got a W.
09:54If you're in line for a W, I'm not going to let you have that second base runner get on.
09:58No.
09:59So, go start the inning.
10:01And if you give up a base runner, we're going to the pen.
10:03That's what I would have done.
10:05Dibs, the pass ball, I was like, oh, boy, something.
10:08Buffalo Springfield, something's happened in the year.
10:10No doubt.
10:10And then, you know, the 2-0 pitch.
10:12And that's the one that bothered me the most is not walking Abrams in that spot.
10:16You've got first base open.
10:17He's their best or second best hitter.
10:19It's a 2-0 count and a guy pitching a third straight day.
10:23Go ahead and just give him the freebie.
10:25It's not four wide ones anymore.
10:26You just declare it and he goes to first.
10:29And, well, now they're loaded.
10:30And that's not ideal.
10:31But as opposed to you serve up an absolute meatball and the game's tied.
10:35Wow.
10:36You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM, and HD1 San Francisco
10:40and Odyssey Sports Station, always live on the free Odyssey app.
10:43Now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
10:45By the way, something happened last night that I can't remember the exact thing,
10:50but this is what you kind of hate.
10:51Somebody said something about this earlier and you hated it,
10:55but I was thinking when it happened last night,
10:58the first guy who doubled, Giants definitely would have rather seen that be a home run.
11:03Oh, such studies.
11:05They would have rather seen it go to 3-2 with nobody on.
11:08Oh, man.
11:09Then, you know, the double and now there's guys on the base, man.
11:14I mean, you could argue that it contributed to him hitting the next batter.
11:18Oh, man.
11:19Which ends up being the time that happened.
11:21I mean, are you pitching that guy differently if the bases are empty?
11:25Are you not as careful?
11:27Are you, you know, who knows?
11:29Stani was talking about their record real quick here,
11:31and I know the record is not idea,
11:33but I can't ignore the fact I think they're underperforming.
11:37Not the bullpen.
11:37It is what it is.
11:39But I'm looking now at Jung-Hoo Lee, Eldridge, Adamus.
11:44They've all, Chapman, they're coming to life.
11:46But at the same time, when you trick off games, that's what word I'm using,
11:51when you trick off games like Saturday, last night,
11:54those are prime examples of why it's not that you're not good enough.
11:59Those are wins, Will, that a team on the margins like the Giants need to bring home,
12:05and I don't think that's asking too much.
12:07So when you sit there, Stani, or anybody, you're 13 under, yeah,
12:12but you're giving games away that you've earned victories for to me,
12:15and you're not good enough to overcome that.
12:18That's what makes it maddening.
12:19I get where you're at.
12:20You didn't earn victories because this is part of earning the victories.
12:2427 outs.
12:25You know what I mean?
12:25Wow.
12:26But, like, over the last week, they're playing very credible baseball.
12:30Credible.
12:31Watchable.
12:32Yeah, it's credible baseball, but your weakness keeps getting exposed.
12:36Like, last night, and if you're a Giants fan, you know this,
12:40that is a quintessential Oracle Park Monday night misty baseball game.
12:47One-to-one, you go to the eighth, Logan Webb dealing.
12:51You find a way to win that game.
12:52And then they did it.
12:54They had their two-run rally.
12:55Their baby.
12:56I didn't think they were coming back and being around like this or something,
13:00but they did.
13:00Their baby deer sliced an 0-2 pitch down the left field line.
13:04Beautiful.
13:04Beautiful at that.
13:05They take the lead.
13:07That's the game they always win.
13:09And they just never built a bullpen.
13:12It's just wild.
13:14So what would you say to Buster about the – I kind of have ignored it.
13:18What made you think this bullpen would suffice?
13:21And when he got tested and he kept mentioning –
13:24Right.
13:24What did you – Edwin Diaz?
13:25But, like, why would he go in there with his, you know, butt hanging out like this?
13:30Maybe you thought that Ryan Walker could do it,
13:32even though last year he showed that he can at times,
13:35and other times he really can't.
13:37And you didn't have much behind him.
13:38And so you just went with what you had, which I think is, you know,
13:42it's not a fireball offense, but Buster gets a pass because it's Buster Posey.
13:46And you look at this year and how that unraveled last night.
13:49You had to throw Keaton Wynn a third straight time.
13:52Your rookie skipper went to him a third straight time.
13:55I think the pitching coach is also relatively new in baseball.
13:59Outside of Ron Washington, it's a pretty young staff.
14:02Buster's never done the job.
14:04And I think that when you start to look at the more macro view,
14:08you got a lot of guys in new spots, and it's blowing up in your face.
14:13I got to be careful here.
14:14Two for 12, by the way, with runners in scoring position.
14:16Okay.
14:17So Mark's talking about a quintessential night, and you're right.
14:20Yep.
14:20But you had 15 hits.
14:2215 hits usually should be six or seven runs, but you got ducks in the pond.
14:26I wanted Elfers to get that one.
14:28What we would be talking about today had he won that.
14:30What we would be talking about today if he never had to bat again.
14:33He shouldn't have had to bat.
14:35If his base hit, you know, the game winner, if that was the thing,
14:38we'd be saying, all right, the arrival, it's here.
14:40I mean, I thought the most impressive at bat was his one before that.
14:45Yeah, for sure.
14:46That he almost hit out of the par.
14:47The one that he opened up, he got to double.
14:50He didn't get all of it.
14:52Usually those aren't even close to the warning track on a night like last night.
14:56I'm like, man, he almost hit that out.
14:59I got to say this.
15:00I am the president of the black, I'll say, managers, coaching delegation.
15:05If I hear another fond thing about Ron Washington, who Norm and I love,
15:14but he's not the manager and watching the giant, oh, Ron, why?
15:18Well, if Ron was that damn great name, Ron's fault, we wouldn't be 14, 13 under.
15:23The coach is Vitello, not Ron Washington.
15:26Quit telling.
15:27And I love Ron, I'm rooting for him, hope he gets another gig.
15:30But that just symbolizes to me just, Ron Washington, he's not Jesus,
15:35and he can't stop this team from getting out their own way, man.
15:39Vitello's the manager.
15:41Right, but that was my point, is Vitello's the manager,
15:44and he doesn't have any experience.
15:46And, you know, Message is a guy looking here.
15:49He was born in 1980, so at 46, he's a guy who's been around a little bit,
15:54but you don't have that old saw in the dugout outside of Ron Washington.
16:00I think last night was a little bit of a turning point.
16:04A little bit of a turning point.
16:05Now, what street, what do you mean by that?
16:07Onto what street?
16:08I think things might start to get a little tougher for Tony.
16:13I think Tony thinks that's already happening with the media.
16:16And I know a lot of people who feel like it already should have been that way.
16:20I think it's tough.
16:21You still, I look at a brand new manager and think to myself,
16:26I mean, first of all, you have to assume there's going to be some learning curve
16:30up around the edges moment, and then we also deal with how many games in
16:35can we start judging this?
16:37And we're still not even half of a season on the way in.
16:42But that was his worst night.
16:44If you ask me, that was his worst night, and I think we're getting close to,
16:50like, the plane is about to board to come home from the honeymoon.
16:55Dude.
16:56And because it's just like, you can't have this many things continually blow up
17:03in your face, every decision that you make, every button you push,
17:07and not have him be a part of the conversation.
17:11I get that he's got no one to go to in the pen, and he's new,
17:14and all of those things, but that's how I felt when I went to bed last night.
17:19I thought that was his worst moment last night.
17:22That particular decision.
17:24That game.
17:24Well, the three decisions.
17:26Take it.
17:26Challenge.
17:27Yeah.
17:28But all the ones at the end of the game.
17:30I mean, I'm going to be honest, I watch most of the Spurs game,
17:32and then turn it over later.
17:33I'm sure a lot of people get it.
17:34Challenge the fifth inning to cost web 12 pitches.
17:36He can't challenge.
17:40Like, you're talking about ABS.
17:41Yes, yeah.
17:42Yeah, that has to come from the field.
17:44Like, the manager can't do ABS.
17:46Well, can I scream dibs?
17:48No, that's exactly why.
17:50No, it has to be instantaneous, yeah.
17:51That's why you can't pause.
17:53Oh, I had to go.
17:54That's precisely the rule.
17:55And that happened Sunday night where the Cubs actually had a delayed one,
17:58and I think it was G-Sack got mad.
18:01They gave him the first one, and then they didn't give him the second one.
18:04What?
18:04Because if you pause, the dugouts got video, and they can be like,
18:08challenge, and then you tap your head.
18:10You can't do that.
18:11Yeah, something happened in the ninth with a Giants batter.
18:14Who led off the ninth?
18:16Devers.
18:17He walked.
18:18Devers walked.
18:19It might have been Devers.
18:21He walked anyway, but somebody could have challenged.
18:23The Giants had one.
18:24Krook said something about it.
18:26It was a ball they called a strike.
18:29They didn't challenge, but I don't think – I thought it was –
18:32I swear – this is another thing.
18:34I don't know if this is Vitello or all managers.
18:36I swear the longer we play with this, I would tell my team,
18:41if you challenge before the fifth inning –
18:43And you're wrong.
18:45Man.
18:45I swear like I'm going to go crazy on you.
18:47Man.
18:47It better be –
18:49The bases are loaded.
18:51Not the first inning.
18:52Nobody else.
18:53Because then, even if you just miss one,
18:56then everyone plays scared the rest of the game
18:59because they don't want to use the second.
19:01That first run the Nationals got, the inning was over.
19:05But they wouldn't challenge what would have been strike three
19:08and the inning would have been over,
19:09but they didn't challenge it
19:11because they're scared to challenge it
19:12because they only had one left.
19:13Right.
19:13What's the point of doing that in the second or third inning?
19:17There's no point.
19:18And I saw something on Twitter about Adamus,
19:20and somebody referred to it as an ego challenge.
19:23And it's the first inning.
19:24It's first and second with one out.
19:26And Willie wants to challenge it
19:28because he doesn't want to strike out.
19:29He doesn't want to strike out looking.
19:31Tap, tap, tap.
19:32And you're gone.
19:33Wow.
19:33So now you're down to one,
19:34and it kind of handcuffs you a little bit.
19:36Up today at 3 o'clock,
19:38we're going to play a little game show music
19:39on Giants ABS players,
19:42who's good and who's bad.
19:45We can get into it.
19:46I think I know who the best is.
19:48Interesting.
19:48We can do it right now.
19:49We can do it live.
19:50Go for it.
19:51The catcher, Susack.
19:52No, we're talking about the hitters.
19:53Oh, okay.
19:53When you're a hitter.
19:54Get the game, Goo.
19:55No, it's okay
19:56because a pitcher can challenge.
19:58The Giants have had three pitchers challenge,
20:00and they're 0 for 3.
20:02Webb, Malley, and our guy, Eric Miller.
20:06Oh, Eric.
20:06They've all tapped it.
20:08They've all tapped it on the mound,
20:09and they're 0 for 3.
20:10Oh, Eric Miller.
20:11You know what?
20:12If you're a batter,
20:13you shouldn't be able to challenge
20:14if you're not hitting 230.
20:15I thought the manager...
20:16It's not bad.
20:16That's a fun idea.
20:18Sorry, you can't.
20:19I would say Arias.
20:22Is one of the best?
20:23Yeah.
20:24No, he is not in the top four.
20:26But that would just be a guess.
20:27Yeah, he's not in the top four.
20:28Okay.
20:29Yeah.
20:29Is everybody eligible?
20:31Like, has everybody done it enough times?
20:33Yeah, I think all the guys
20:35have done it four times.
20:35Let me just grab my clipboard.
20:37I had my pencil out earlier, Mark.
20:38You know that?
20:40Yeah.
20:40I love the game, Stani.
20:42I thought...
20:42Will, I thought the challenges
20:44came from the dugout.
20:46Ah, yeah.
20:47No, they're not allowed to.
20:48So I would be mad if it's for the ego challenge
20:51if I'm Tony V.
20:52Like, dude, it's the first inning.
20:54Well, that's my point,
20:55is I don't think that they have rules
20:56or a construct on the team.
20:58You've got to have rules.
20:59And I think, Mark, your rule's a good one.
21:01Yeah, I would just...
21:01Unless it's bases loaded
21:03and it's, you know,
21:04it's an O2 count or something,
21:06there's got to be rules and guidelines.
21:08Well, and you know what,
21:09if not rules,
21:11what about the old kangaroo court?
21:13Right?
21:13There you go.
21:14There it is.
21:14You've challenged before the fifth
21:16and you're wrong.
21:17You've got to throw a hundred in
21:18to the kitty.
21:20Um, easy.
21:21A hundred bucks for a guy
21:22making 182 million?
21:24Well, it's a dated.
21:25What's his hesitation?
21:26The kangaroo court is dated.
21:27Okay.
21:27The money's dated.
21:28Let's say a thousand.
21:30Or what if, um...
21:31I mean, I know what you guys
21:32would like to do.
21:33Pull him out of the game.
21:35He's benching.
21:36I know, yeah.
21:37That's a dibs and guru.
21:38I'm blown away, man.
21:39If you challenge him,
21:40you're wrong, you're sick.
21:41The top four in challenges
21:43have all challenged at least four times.
21:45I'm going to take Schmitty.
21:47He is not in the top four
21:48in success.
21:49Davers.
21:50He is not in the top four.
21:53Oh, wait, Lee.
21:55He is number two.
21:56He's four and one on the year
21:57in challenges as a batter.
21:59Hey, Chuck, Lou, Lee.
22:00Chuck, Lou, Lee.
22:02He is neither top four
22:04nor bottom four.
22:04You can guess a third time, too,
22:07if you want to score me right.
22:08Drew Gilbert is number three
22:09on the first.
22:10Of course, Drew Gilbert.
22:11Drew Gilbert is three and one.
22:13There's one guy on the Giants
22:15who is undefeated
22:16in four challenges.
22:18Undefeated in four challenges?
22:19The guy who is four and two
22:20on the year.
22:21Are they happy?
22:21He is not in the top three.
22:23Are they currently on the team?
22:25The guy who's four and two
22:26is injured.
22:27Yeah, Ramos.
22:28He's four and two.
22:29He's a guy who's number one.
22:30He's four and O
22:31on the year in challenges.
22:34Four and O?
22:34I feel like we've already
22:35given you the whole roster.
22:37You haven't.
22:37You haven't.
22:39If this guy...
22:40Eldridge?
22:41You got it.
22:42Yeah.
22:42Bryce Eldridge, four and O.
22:44Look at all my guys.
22:45And he's 6'10".
22:46Right?
22:47Wow.
22:47The biggest strike zone.
22:49Your bottom four,
22:50you've named all four of the guys,
22:52including one guy
22:53who is 0 and 5 on the year.
22:54Adamus for sure.
22:56Adamus is 3 and 6.
22:57Yep.
22:57Tied with two other guys,
22:59Casey Schmidt and Matt Chapman.
23:01Devers is not good.
23:020 and 5.
23:03Yep.
23:04So your vets,
23:05not only do they challenge more,
23:06they challenge more
23:08and they miss more.
23:09So it's like an inverse operation
23:11of what they make.
23:12And it's because you make so much,
23:14you feel like you're empowered
23:15to the ego challenge.
23:17And so I'm just going to go out there
23:18and challenge Casey Schmidt,
23:19also 3 and 6.
23:21Flies in the face of the theory.
23:23Well, now what are you guys
23:24going to do with 3?
23:25We're going to run it back.
23:26That's a great question.
23:27We're running back.
23:28That's the short segment anyway.
23:29New audience by then,
23:31for sure.
23:31There you go.
23:32And maybe they'll have upgraded
23:34Wembenyama's little incident
23:35into a flagrant one by then.
23:37Any guess today?
23:38No chance.
23:38Yeah.
23:39Kevin Franzen's coming on.
23:40Okay.
23:40All right.
23:41Kevin Franzen's coming on at 4.15.
23:43Former Giant.
23:44He's on the Nats broadcast.
23:46Speaks the truth.
23:48They got the number one offense
23:49in the National League.
23:50They do.
23:51They also have a really bad pitching staff,
23:53but worked out last night.
23:55One final payoff,
23:56just because I did all the work,
23:58I discovered another thing
24:00the Giants are really bad at,
24:01and that's the ABS system.
24:02Overall,
24:03they're 26th in baseball
24:05in success rate
24:06among pitchers,
24:08catchers,
24:08and batters.
24:09I'm a Giants fan.
24:10I'm just great.
24:11That's a stat.
24:12The game.
