00:04it's t-shirts and shorts so you really can't get a lot out of it i won't be going but

00:09everybody that is going to go down there and all you sub stackers and writers and beat writers
00:13there are two things that i'd like for you to let me know or let us fans know what's going
00:20on
00:20uh down there practice that i feel like we can gain a little something from knowing what's going
00:26on number one is drake may and the freedom he has at the line of scrimmage when it comes to
00:33changing plays calling his own play you know that type of situation i'm not talking about a two
00:39minute situation defense gives him something he doesn't like does he have the freedom to get up
00:44out of it or is there not a lot of that going on that's the one thing i'd like for
00:50you guys to and
00:51girls to look at when you go down there and the second thing is what who's in the huddle with
00:57drake
00:57may especially from the wide receiver standpoint that is the other thing that i'd like you to kind
01:03of fill me in on who's in the huddle whether it's seven on seven whether it's you know inside run
01:10i
01:11don't care what it is i just like to know who's in the huddle mego this is a good time
01:16to for you to
01:17kind of educate me who's lining up at the x i'm not educating you well no i'm not talking where
01:23anyone's lining up you'll be down there you'll be able to see like your baby say we get told you
01:27aj brown has been at the x the majority of the time wiki do you think it's funny like the
01:33camp stats
01:35i don't see camp stats from yes you know when people are like okay drake may went 10 of 11
01:40exactly and it was this and that adrew callahan had drake may sack 62 times in one practice no
01:47because people really like those like i i think that especially when the pads come on people who
01:52are trying to take something away from training camp like seeing those numbers and they're like
01:57all right give me an idea of how it looked out there when we can't be there as fans but
02:01then when
02:02you're actually there sometimes you're like okay this is really nothing right well and i and see the
02:07problem is with the camp stats is like okay what was the situation did drake go 10 of 11 on
02:147 on 7
02:15with no pass rush did drake go uh you know 6 of 10 and three guys dropped the ball like
02:22or there was
02:23you know breakdown and and pass protection like i think there's more to it than just reading the
02:29numbers you have to be there to kind of see like all right and that situation great play down the
02:35sideline unbelievable catch people are going crazy but the defensive end ran right by the quarterback
02:41in in a real game it's lights out for the quarterback so those are the things they you that if
02:47you're not
02:47there and the people are just reading camp stats they don't see it sounds like the expectation is that
02:53christian gonzalez will be there you don't expect that he will participate in any way shape or form
03:00no i don't i don't believe if he does he has a horrendous agent if he's out there practicing i

03:06say you might want to reevaluate on who your agent is now that's not good advice there would normally be
03:12a fine but i heard some speculation that because mike vrabel moved minicamp up that there may be an
03:22out when it comes to not paying a fine for christian gonzalez how's that work because they changed the
03:28date last minute or whatever so the nfl there may be some sort of a provision that allows you to
03:35miss
03:35if they change the date last minute or something which i guess the other speculation is they moved
03:42minicamp up because of the world cup stuff and the distraction that that was going to be or i could
03:48see
03:48that um or i guess the inconvenience of doing it at the same time when you got that going i
03:54could see
03:54that i could see that being more of the issue i mean if he misses practice it's gonna cost him

03:59don't know what the number is now but a hundred thousand for three days all right so a hundred
04:02grand for three days he's probably like all right whatever that's not worth me going out there and
04:07potentially you know throwing away 80 million because i get potentially get hurt let's start
04:14with rob gronkowski he joined the up and adam show with k adams and uh she asked him about josh
04:20mcdaniel's the other day making the comparison between rob gronkowski and aj brown here is uh how
04:27gronk responded to uh that comparison i respect that comparison josh mcdaniel's you know he knows
04:33what he's talking about and i understand what he's saying because aj brown's a big body out there he
04:38he's a force to be reckoned with and he's a guy that takes attention uh from the defense even when
04:45the
04:45ball is not going to him even though you know it's a run play you're still gonna have attention you're
04:49still gonna put guys out there to make sure that there's no audible check you know to to make the
04:55play go over to aj brown and give him the opportunity and just the presence the big body presence you
05:01know
05:01brings another level you know to to the offense and aj brown he's he's that big body guy who can
05:07move
05:08uh and it's hard to you know be that big and to move and uh josh mcdaniel saw it with
05:14myself so
05:14he sees it in aj brown as well i i love that comparison i it you know that's that was

05:20cool so if he if there's no issue when it comes to the knee stays healthy you said your expectation
05:28yesterday you said it was what do you what are you expecting 1200 1200 yards i would say i would

05:331200 yards and eight touchdowns okay shine you on board with that yeah if he plays 16 or 17 games
05:41that should be at least where he's at i wouldn't even be i would not be shocked if he goes

05:55with josh mcdaniels like josh mcdaniels is gonna know like all right he has to be the focal point of
06:02the passing game we got to run our passing offense through him he's gonna see double coverages so then
06:08that means he'll be able to open up some other things for josh mcdaniels and then ultimately once
06:12a team comes out of double coverage because you're getting killed by other guys that's when he's
06:17really able to aj brown to do some damage will you be able to determine i know you're not going
06:23to go
06:23there you're going to rely on the sub stacker and others for your information but will be will you be
06:29able to determine anything about the future of kasha and booty based on what happens in minicamp
06:36next couple days um that's a great question greg good job greg i think i think that's why i said
06:45it's going to be interesting to see where he is in the huddle and is he getting any reps with
06:52drake may
06:53is he funneling through those first team reps or is he like a more of a second team guy and
06:59where is he
07:00in the second team guy so like you i don't think you're you might be able to pick up a

07:05from that but that'll be interesting to see kind of how the huddle looks because that's what they
