00:00The relationship between the U.S. and Israel could be on thin ice over issues with Iran.
00:04Israeli media is reporting that President Trump told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel
00:09quote may be left alone facing Iran if he doesn't stop retaliatory strikes against the Islamic
00:16Republic. The presidential tough talk seems to have worked with Netanyahu promising to quote
00:21hold fire against Iran. That promise does come with a caveat however. The Israeli leader clarified
00:28that strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon remain a separate issue. Iran has been trying to
00:34link those strikes in Lebanon to the U.S.-Iran-Israel ceasefire. Now Iran did agree to stop firing into
00:41Israel but here we go again with the caveats. They noted that if Israel carries out any further acts
00:46including against Hezbollah the fighting could resume. So calling this ceasefire fragile would
00:51be an understatement. As for ongoing negotiations to end all of the fighting President Trump posted
00:57quote final negotiations on peace are proceeding subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in
01:03the way. The blockade will remain in place and in full force and effect until a final deal is reached
01:09things should move quickly.
