This video will show you how waste wood is transformed into biomass pellets. Hello everyone, this is our customer's pellet production site. The customer's raw materials are waste wood and wood chips. First, a wood chipper is used to break the wood into 5-8 cm chips. Next, we use a high-efficiency hammer mill and a bag filter dust collector to crush the wood chips into fine powder of about 3 mm. Because the customer's wood has a high moisture content, we equipped this production line with a single-drum dryer. The moisture content after drying is 12%-15%. This allows for direct pellet production. The material passes through our biomass vertical ring die pellet machine to produce pellets. The resulting pellets have a smooth surface, high hardness, and sufficient calorific value. Since the freshly produced pellets have high moisture content and temperature, to save costs, we equipped the customer with a finished product silo to cool the pellets.
