01:33The 49ers have commented on it, but it's largely just to say we haven't even heard from Brandon.

07:09And they're aware of what's going on on social media.

07:13But if Brandon wants to, you know, name call and do all these things that he did in that
07:18clip that you just played, why would that bother you if you're the 49ers?
07:21And even if you are, you know, Shanahan and when you get back to work in July and you get
07:26asked questions about it, it's a pretty simple dismissive answer that you can give.
07:31You know, Brandon's not here and we're just going to talk about the players that are here
07:34because we're getting ready to ramp up for a season.
07:37So it clearly isn't bothering them, nor should it bother them.
07:41And, you know, you talked about getting a ham sandwich.
07:43I don't even think you would get a bag of chips or one of those mints they sometimes give you

07:49You probably won't get anything, but until that day comes where he forces your hand by
07:56showing up, for example, you're not motivated at all to do anything.

09:37The first match is Saturday at Levi's.
09:39So even if you wanted to hold the rest of your minicamp, which I think would have been tomorrow and
09:44Wednesday, I don't even know if you'd be able to do it at your own facility because FIFA is there
09:49and the World Cup is upon us.
09:50And so the schedule is kind of preventative to doing what you normally would do.
09:55And heck, if things went as well as they did in the first portion, you're right about avoiding injury.
10:00And so this is not about, ooh, the fear of Brandon showing up.

10:29But there are a couple things that I think it's odd that we would sit here today and just assume.
10:35I have not, like he had a major, major, major leg reconstruction and has not played since.

10:47Speed, I know from a time standpoint he should be, but what do we always know about major injury?

10:56And then add in beyond injury, my experience in professional sports is when you leave for a long period of

11:15You don't just leave for, I mean, he has not been on a football field in what, damn, by the
11:23time we get to the season, it'll be damn near two years.

11:34Whole new offense, whole new quarterback, whole new other receivers on the team, all of the wherever he ends up

11:45But, like, if I asked you right now, I want to bet on whether or not Brandon Ayuk ever has

12:48You all remember him with the, he had some anxiety issues, and he had the substance.
12:54And so, he was able to, at 32 years of age, get over 1,000 yards.
12:59So, Ayuk got hurt, missed a year.
13:02He's going to end up missing almost two years because he got hurt early in the year.
13:05He's still young enough that if he's motivated, he could still play another seven or eight years.
13:11So, that's why I put the odds where I did.
13:13But, also, like, the opportunity has to present itself.

13:17Yeah, you've got to be in a good offense.
13:18You have to be a central figure.
13:20You have to work your way to do that on a completely new team.
13:25And the other teams are watching, too.
13:28I don't think any of this, I don't, I know that there are always coaches who think,

13:36But, I would, I also would think the majority of general managers and coaches around the league
13:45have a pretty high level of respect for Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch.

14:37out and he kind of, you know, blew up his own career unnecessarily.
