00:00At least 32 people were killed following a powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake
00:05off the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.
00:08At least 134 others were injured.
00:11Disaster officials said the number of casualties could rise further
00:14as search and rescue teams continue operations across the hardest-hit areas.
00:21The earthquake struck early Monday about 20 kilometers off the coast of Sarangini province,
00:26triggering strong tremors across a wide region.
00:30It caused significant damage to buildings across Mindanao
00:33and triggered a landslide in the southern Philippines that killed 13 villagers.
