00:00A massive earthquake just rocked the Philippines and Indonesia.
00:04And for a moment, panic swept the region as tsunami warnings blared.
00:08At 9.43 a.m. local time, a powerful magnitude 7.4 quake struck off the coast of Mindanao in the Philippines.
00:15The tremors were so intense that tsunami alerts were issued across southern Mindanao
00:20and parts of Indonesia's North Sulawesi.
00:23The warnings painted a terrifying picture.
00:26Waves up to 3 meters high could crash into coastal towns.
