00:00The murder of Henry Novak was absolutely awful and those people like me who've watched the video
00:07rightly feel absolute horror at what happened and anger I think is understandable but there
00:16is a difference between taking that anger and waiting for justice to be done through the IOPC
00:21investigation and taking to the streets to stir division and hatred. We saw scenes last night
00:28that were completely unacceptable two people have been arrested there may be more once the police
00:33have reviewed all of the footage from the demonstration we had officers injured we had a
00:37police dog injured this is completely unacceptable and I would ask people to to take what Henry's
00:46family have said to heart which is that they don't want this to lead to more division they want it
00:53to
00:53lead to a better outcome when it comes to the epidemic of knife crime that we see on our streets
00:59and that's where my focus is and hopefully that will be where everybody's focus is as well.
