As Christmas approaches, Ashley Durreau and Scott Briggs have both just arrived in Idaho Falls, in some ways the last place they wanted to be, not to mention having just unexpectedly left the person they were supposed to spend Christmas with. A local girl, Ashley is a commercial real estate agent in New York City, and aside from spending time with her loving family—her parents who have sacrificed so much in their lives to raise her up in the big city—Ashley has been trying to leave Idaho Falls behind, thanks in part to her parents' sacrifice. With a recent career setback, she'd prefer to return to New York City to get her career back on track. Scott has just been traded to play for the local junior hockey team, the Idaho Falls Fighting Trout. The son of a player expected to be inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame this year, Scott dreams of making the NHL himself to live up to his father's legacy. But at thirty-two, a decade or more older than all his teammates, his time is running out, especially since he must be called up to the Boise team before the NHL is even possible. Scott ends up living in Durreaus's guesthouse while in town, and while Scott simply wants to spend more time on the ice with the goal of getting out of Idaho Falls as quickly as possible, Coach Jensen emphasizes that to do that, he must be a good team player, which means participating in community activities as part of the team in the hockey-crazy town, especially at Christmas. As Ashley and Scott spend time together working toward those stated goals, each of them may realize that those goals may not be what they truly want, but are just expectations they placed on themselves as they begin to fall for each other.

00:00:00You
00:00:22Hey, yeah, I just landed. Hey, babe. So how's it being home? Uh, so far so good
00:00:28You're still flying out tomorrow morning, right? I promised everyone they'd finally get to meet you
00:00:32Yes, but there is something else I'll tell you. Okay, what? Do you want the good news or the bad
00:00:36news first?
00:00:37Gee, I don't know, bad. You didn't land the Kingstead building
00:00:41What? They said they weren't making any decisions until the new year. I know
00:00:45Well, what's the good news? I got it
00:00:48Are you kidding me? No, I closed this morning
00:00:50Wait, I'm on a flight for five hours and you decide that's an appropriate time to poach my client?
00:00:55Yeah, no, it isn't personal. It's just that they trust me a little bit more with this level of responsibility
00:01:01Wow
00:01:02There actually is one other thing. I know you really want me to spend the whole week out there
00:01:08But I sort of promised Lawrence that I would take him to that really fancy sushi restaurant
00:01:12Well, you're supposed to be my partner
00:01:15My teammates, not go behind my back and steal a client I've been working on for two months
00:01:20Ash, come on. We can get past this
00:01:23It isn't personal, Trevor
00:01:26It's just become very obvious that you are not ready for this level of responsibility
00:01:32Yeah, I just landed
00:01:34I'm in Idaho Lake
00:01:36Or Idaho Creek
00:01:39Or
00:01:41Something with Idaho and water
00:01:42That's great, Scott
00:01:43Yeah, so hey, if I get called up to this Boise team, there's a game on the 24th in Tucson
00:01:47I was thinking I could drive up to Phoenix and meet you
00:01:50You don't have to do that
00:01:51I thought you wanted me to spend Christmas with your family
00:01:53This is our chance
00:01:56I wanted you to want to spend Christmas with us
00:01:58But become pretty clear that's just not who you are
00:02:01Did you want to come here?
00:02:03Maybe we could find a nice Chinese restaurant
00:02:05Scott, you're not hearing me
00:02:07I admire your ambition
00:02:09We just don't have the same goals in life
00:02:11So you're cutting me
00:02:13Hey, look on the bright side
00:02:14At least now you can have a real fresh start out there in Idaho
00:02:18Whatever it's called
00:02:19Yeah
00:02:21Can't wait
00:02:22Bye, Scott
00:02:22See ya
00:03:02Okay
00:03:03I think I heard you
00:03:04Be there in a second
00:03:08Sorry
00:03:09Just it's, uh, it's been a bit of a morning
00:03:12Yeah, tell me about it
00:03:14Well, I've just been traded to what I can only assume is the fishing capital of the world
00:03:19I just got off the phone
00:03:24You didn't mean literally
00:03:25No
00:03:26Sorry
00:03:27No, it's okay
00:03:28Look, I know this place can be a little jarring at first
00:03:30But, you know, we've got some of the best hockey fans in the country
00:03:33So
00:03:35Is that obvious, huh?
00:03:37You know, the stick in the single duffel kind of gave it away
00:03:41Sorry about the wait
00:03:42Catch your card?
00:03:43Card
00:03:47So what, are you here on business or something?
00:03:49No, no
00:03:50I'm just here visiting family for the week
00:03:51I grew up here
00:03:52But I've been in New York the last five years
00:03:54Oh, you should come to a game
00:03:57Not that I'm gonna play for them for very long
00:03:59Oh, no?
00:03:59No, it's kind of a formality
00:04:01You know, once they kind of see me in action
00:04:04They're probably gonna fast-track me up to Boise
00:04:06And after that, it's just one stop to the NHL
00:04:13Well, it sounds like you've got a very bright future ahead of you
00:04:16There you go
00:04:17Thank you
00:04:20Oh, and that's my ride
00:04:27Welcome to Idaho Falls
00:04:30So, I'll see you at the game then
00:04:35Julie!
00:04:36And Becca!
00:04:37Hi!
00:04:38Oh!
00:04:40You look so sophisticated
00:04:42Is that a compliment?
00:04:43You always look gorgeous
00:04:45But this is a little less Idaho Falls
00:04:48Grandma knitted you a new scarf
00:04:49Oh, my, she did
00:04:50I love it
00:04:51Hi!
00:04:53Oh, my gosh
00:04:54You smell so good
00:04:56Do I?
00:04:57Yeah, that must be some secret shampoo
00:04:59That they only sell to folks on Saks Fifth Avenue or something
00:05:01You know it's not a real avenue, right?
00:05:04Oh
00:05:05Well, it doesn't matter
00:05:06I'm just so happy to see you
00:05:07You too
00:05:08Hey, congrats on your real estate license
00:05:09That's awesome
00:05:10Well, I'm no big fancy agent like you
00:05:13But it sure beats waiting tables at the drunken pub
00:05:15Oh, yeah
00:05:16Do not remind me of that place
00:05:19So, how are you?
00:05:20How's Trevor?
00:05:21Good
00:05:21Great
00:05:22I'm great
00:05:24Everything is really good
00:05:25Tell me what's new and exciting in Idaho Falls
00:05:29Um
00:05:30Oh
00:05:31We got a new water treatment plant
00:05:33Wow
00:05:34That sounds important
00:05:37Well, let's be honest
00:05:38The most exciting thing is
00:05:39Is that you're here
00:05:41We miss you
00:05:41I miss you, too
00:05:42Yeah
00:05:43Come on
00:05:44I'm so glad you're here
00:05:48We're so happy to have you back
00:05:49You look so pale
00:05:51Mom
00:05:52No, that's fair
00:05:54I have been holed up in the office a lot lately
00:05:56Well, at least you've got Trevor in the office with you
00:05:58Your father and I have been running the store together for 30 years now
00:06:01And that's turned out pretty well
00:06:03Yeah, but it's not like we actually work together
00:06:05I mean, it's the same broker
00:06:06But it's really just everyone for themselves
00:06:09That's too bad
00:06:10He's still flying in tomorrow?
00:06:13Um
00:06:16Yeah
00:06:17Yeah, we just have to figure out his flight
00:06:18Well, I'm sure he's worth the wait
00:06:20Well, he better be
00:06:21Because any guy that dates my little sister
00:06:23Better treat her the way that she deserves
00:06:24Like my Dave treats me
00:06:26Did someone say my name?
00:06:27Hey, there he is
00:06:28Hey, welcome home, little sis
00:06:29Thank you
00:06:30Good to see you
00:06:33Oh, great fruitcake, Grandma
00:06:36Aunt Ashley
00:06:36Hey, there's my wild man
00:06:38What are you up to today?
00:06:40Dan and I are going to play some hockey
00:06:41You should come with
00:06:42Oh, well, I would
00:06:44But I promised your grandpa
00:06:45I'd help him out of the store
00:06:46But I hear that you're playing
00:06:47In the big Christmas game this year
00:06:48You're going to watch?
00:06:50Oh, yeah
00:06:50I mean, someone's got to keep the ref on their toes
00:06:52Hey, Parker, let's roll
00:06:53See you later
00:06:54Bye, have fun
00:06:55Don't drink too much hot chocolate
00:06:57And don't break any bones
00:06:57Nah, you won't, babe
00:06:58Wasn't talking to him
00:07:09Hey, Scott
00:07:11Assistant coach Gus
00:07:12How are you doing?
00:07:13My ankle still hurts
00:07:14My girlfriend broke up with me
00:07:15And I'm playing hockey in Idaho Lake
00:07:16Yeah, Idaho Falls
00:07:18Idaho Lake's about 20 miles up the road
00:07:21Great fishing, though
00:07:22But you've got to use Nightcrawler
00:07:24Then lures ain't going to help you at all
00:07:26Up there
00:07:26Okay
00:07:27Now, what else we got for you, Mr. Briggs?
00:07:29Hey, you really in relation to Wayne Briggs?
00:07:33Yeah
00:07:34He's my dad
00:07:35Well, ain't that something
00:07:37Two-time NHL defenseman
00:07:39Of the Stanley Cup champion
00:07:41Hey, isn't he up for the Hall of Fame
00:07:43Here in a few days?
00:07:44Somebody said something about accommodations
00:07:45Free for the first month
00:07:47Got that for you right here
00:07:48Here you go
00:07:49Here's this for you
00:07:50Now, there's a main house on the property
00:07:52You've got a little cottage in the back
00:07:53Perfect
00:07:54And being how you got a game in five hours
00:07:57We should get you out there
00:07:58With the rest of the team
00:08:07That's it, that's it
00:08:08Good job
00:08:10Come on, Zetner
00:08:11Move your feet
00:08:17All right, boys
00:08:18Bring it in
00:08:19Bring it in
00:08:26Now, this is Scott Briggs
00:08:27He just got traded here
00:08:28From the East Coast Hockey League
00:08:30Hey, I played in the ECHL
00:08:31What team were you on?
00:08:32Probably easier to tell you
00:08:33What teams I didn't play for
00:08:36Hey, how old are you, Grandpa?
00:08:37Are you looking for a fight, son?
00:08:38Well, do you want to start something, or what?
00:08:40Settle down, Pierre
00:08:42Back it up
00:08:46All right, let's give Briggs here
00:08:48A big fighting trout welcome
00:08:55Let's get back to practice
00:08:56And, uh, Pierre
00:08:57How about you lead us in the drills?
00:08:59Let's go
00:09:02Have fun out there
00:09:18Dad!
00:09:19Hi!
00:09:20Hey!
00:09:21There she is
00:09:23Oh, it's so good to see you, kiddo
00:09:25It's good to see you, too
00:09:27Mom said that you could use some help
00:09:29With the Christmas stuff
00:09:30Well, you know me
00:09:31I never can turn down an extra set of hands
00:09:38So, how's the job going?
00:09:40You sell the Empire State Building yet?
00:09:42You know, I'm still working on that one
00:09:44Well, we all need to stop
00:09:46And smell the pine cones every now and then
00:09:48Or every day, if you work here
00:09:53Your mom said the boyfriend had some kind of a delay?
00:09:57Yeah, something like that
00:09:59Well, silver lining
00:10:00That means you have tonight wide open
00:10:02Dad, I don't know
00:10:03Oh, I know it's not a fancy NHL game
00:10:06But tonight should be a good one
00:10:08And the whole family's gonna be there
00:10:09I was just hoping to stay home and relax a bit
00:10:12What's not relaxing about a hockey game?
00:10:18Okay, I'll be there
00:10:20You know I can't pass up a night with the family
00:10:22Mm-hmm, that's my girl
00:10:24Oh, I almost forgot
00:10:25Your mom wants a fresh wreath for the front door
00:10:27You mind picking one up from Chuck's while I close up here?
00:10:30Of course
00:10:31Thanks
00:10:40Aren't you a little old to be chasing the dream still, Pops?
00:10:43What, you didn't hear?
00:10:4532 is the new 22
00:10:47I'm just coming into my prime
00:10:49Now that's what I'm talking about
00:10:51Great practice today, boys
00:10:53We'll see you all in a few hours
00:10:56Oh, uh, right
00:10:57Um, one more thing
00:10:58As most of you already know
00:11:00Tomorrow starts the long-standing fighting trout tradition
00:11:03We'll be hosting a series of holiday events for the community
00:11:06Leading up to the big jamboree
00:11:09And Gus is handing out the schedules
00:11:11And as always
00:11:12I expect all of you to be your kindest, most courteous selves
00:11:16And hopefully we'll have a little fun in the process
00:11:18Uh, hey, coach
00:11:21Um, no offense
00:11:23I'm not much of a holiday guy
00:11:26Any chance I could just get more rink time
00:11:28While you guys are out singing carols
00:11:31And handing out candy canes to the locals?
00:11:34Those locals come out and support us all year long
00:11:37And they happen to be paying your salary at the moment
00:11:39So I don't think it's too much to ask to show a little gratitude
00:11:44I just want to show gratitude by playing my tail off out on the rink
00:11:50Briggs
00:11:51Every player who walks through my door
00:11:54Has the exact same goal as you
00:11:56To get the heck out of here
00:11:58But guess what?
00:12:00Nobody gets to Boise unless I put them on the ice
00:12:03And I don't put nobody on the ice
00:12:05Unless they can act like a part of this team
00:12:09I don't care who their dad is
00:12:11Now
00:12:13Do you want to be a part of this team or not?
00:12:24Yes
00:12:25Good answer
00:12:28Now hit the showers
00:12:29You guys stink
00:12:34After tax
00:12:36That will be
00:12:37$57.23
00:12:42Oh, sorry
00:12:48I can help pay for that if you're struggling, dear
00:12:51Oh, uh, no
00:12:53No, that's okay
00:12:54I promise I'm very financially responsible
00:12:56Is that why you're using a card with the name Scott Briggs on it?
00:13:00What?
00:13:01Let me see that
00:13:02I'm sorry, since it's not your card, I have to hold on to this for now
00:13:05Uh, okay
00:13:06Well, look, I
00:13:08I'm sorry
00:13:08I have no idea who Scott Briggs is
00:13:14Yes, I do
00:13:16Yeah
00:13:17I do
00:13:18Sky from the airport
00:13:20Sky from the airport
00:13:20The woman switched her cards
00:13:22She switched her cards
00:13:25Great
00:13:26That'll be $57.23
00:13:28I have $1.50
00:13:30Can any of you help out this poor young woman?
00:13:35You know what?
00:13:35It's fine
00:13:39Who's next?
00:13:41Hi
00:13:47Wow, you guys, you guys really like to fill up before a big game, huh?
00:13:50Thanks for buying Scott
00:13:51Yeah, well, you know, I didn't really make the best first impression back there
00:13:55So I want to show you all that I am, in fact, a stand-up decent guy
00:13:58This isn't your debit card
00:14:01What?
00:14:02It says Ashley DeRoe on it
00:14:06I don't know an Ashley DeRoe
00:14:08And yet you have her debit card
00:14:13The woman
00:14:14Uh, the woman at the airport must have
00:14:16She must have mixed up the cards
00:14:21Can any of you boys pay for this?
00:14:25Well, hold on
00:14:26I
00:14:27Guys, well
00:14:27Maybe I
00:14:30Guys, don't
00:14:31Okay, you know
00:14:32Well, I'll get the next one
00:14:33How about that, huh?
00:14:34I'll, I'll
00:14:35I'll get the next one
00:14:36It's on me next time
00:14:38Could happen to anybody
00:14:40Should be a fun game tonight
00:15:08And here comes Chesaw
00:15:10He's cutting in
00:15:10And oh, he's cutting in
00:15:12Knocked down by Cairns
00:15:13That's going to be a hook and come
00:15:15And the referee's pointing to center right
00:15:16That's a penalty shot
00:15:17Cairns is going to be a penalty shot
00:15:19With 59 seconds left in the third period
00:15:21This is a big moment for Idaho
00:15:24Let's see what happens
00:15:41And it's no good
00:15:42No goal for the trout
00:15:48Briggs, your line's up
00:15:50Let's go
00:15:53Well, how's it feel to be back in the old trout pond, huh?
00:15:58You know, it's actually not bad
00:16:00I've been dealing with real estate sharks for so long
00:16:03But it's just nice to be around kind, normal people
00:16:07Hey, come on, rep
00:16:09I've got cataracts in both eyes
00:16:11And I could see that high stick from here
00:16:17I had to go to three different concession stands
00:16:19But here are your peppermint tees
00:16:21Oh, you didn't have to do that
00:16:23Well, it's not every night I get to watch a game with the whole family
00:16:27Um, where's mine?
00:16:29Honey, I'm pretty sure Dave's got you covered there
00:16:31Oh, thanks Dave
00:16:34Oh, did you guys want something too?
00:16:36Yeah
00:16:38So mom says you lost your debit card at the airport?
00:16:40No, no, no
00:16:41I didn't lose it
00:16:42It got switched with the guy at the gift shop
00:16:44Well, did you get his name?
00:16:45Yes, Briggs
00:16:46Scott Briggs
00:16:47In fact, he said he's playing for the trout
00:16:56Wait
00:16:58Wait, that's him!
00:16:59What?
00:17:00Hey!
00:17:02Hey!
00:17:03Hey!
00:17:03You have my debit card!
00:17:05Hey, you have my debit card!
00:17:07Meet me after the game!
00:17:08What?
00:17:09Meet me after the game!
00:17:12I can't hear you!
00:17:15Ooh
00:17:18Ooh
00:17:19Ooh
00:17:19Yep
00:17:21I think he got the message
00:17:26No, obviously it's not the result we wanted
00:17:28We need to get the bucks in the net
00:17:30We need to get the bucks in the net and
00:17:30I need to be better on the breakaways, you know
00:17:33It's just, it's what it is
00:17:35Oh, hi!
00:17:36Oh
00:17:39I'm so sorry that I distracted you back there
00:17:42How's my face?
00:17:45How's my face?
00:17:45I've seen better
00:17:47Thanks
00:17:48I'm Ashley, by the way
00:17:50Scott
00:17:51Hi
00:17:51Sorry about the mix-up
00:17:53Yeah
00:17:54So where's my card?
00:17:57Uh, it's at the drug and puck
00:17:59Yeah, they kept your card
00:18:00Oh
00:18:01So
00:18:02Okay
00:18:04Give me mine
00:18:06Those comfortable shoes?
00:18:08Why?
00:18:09Because we had to go for a little walk
00:18:16Okay, one card down, one to go
00:18:24Next stop is Chuck's Christmas tree lot
00:18:28So what do you think of your new town?
00:18:30Uh, my very temporary
00:18:32New town
00:18:32Oh, yes
00:18:33So sorry, I forgot
00:18:34It's just a pit stop on your way to Boise
00:18:36You got it
00:18:38Well, what did you think of your first games of Fighting Trout?
00:18:41Well, besides the jet lag
00:18:43And learning that I have to volunteer for an entire week of Christmas volu-
00:18:47Christmas activities
00:18:49I'd say I played pretty well
00:18:51Really?
00:18:52You had six shots on net
00:18:54Scored zero goals
00:18:55And you had a plus minus of negative three
00:18:57I mean, call me crazy
00:18:59I don't think the boys up in Boise
00:19:00Would call that playing pretty well
00:19:02Why don't you tell me what you really think?
00:19:04Oh, I'm sorry
00:19:04No, it's fine
00:19:05I appreciate the honesty
00:19:07I'm just surprised you cared that much to pay attention
00:19:09Well, don't flatter yourself too much
00:19:10It's just something I picked up after years of going to games with my dad
00:19:13The plus minus?
00:19:15I mean, nobody tracks that
00:19:17Oh, I disagree
00:19:18It shows how well the team does when you are in the game
00:19:20Whether you make them better or worse
00:19:22And for me, that's the most important stat there is
00:19:25All right, you know you're hockey
00:19:26Yeah, I used to have time to be a fan
00:19:29I mean, not so much anymore
00:19:31You did look like you're having fun with me
00:19:32No, I was having fun with my family
00:19:34But I can assure you, I was not enjoying a single second of the game
00:19:37Even when I smashed my face in the ice?
00:19:39No, yeah, that was mildly enjoyable
00:19:49I promise you, it's his card
00:19:52But how do I know it's his card unless I see some photo ID?
00:19:55I told you, I left my wallet in my locker
00:19:59I know, it's quite a conundrum
00:20:09Oh, wait a second, here
00:20:11This is his photo ID, right here
00:20:13That's him, see?
00:20:16See?
00:20:18I didn't know you were a trope
00:20:19My apologies, Mr. Briggs
00:20:22Welcome to Idaho Falls
00:20:26Thank you
00:20:27You're welcome
00:20:32Come out
00:20:36What was all that about?
00:20:38Well, what can I say?
00:20:39For some crazy reason, people in this town actually respect their hockey players
00:20:45What do you do in New York again?
00:20:47Oh, it's not that interesting
00:20:50You just don't think I'm going to think it's that interesting?
00:20:54I sell commercial real estate
00:20:57Interesting
00:20:58Like hotels and office buildings, things like that?
00:21:02Exactly
00:21:02And for the last two months, I've spent all my time and energy trying to land this client with one
00:21:09of the biggest shopping centers in the city
00:21:11Sounds cool
00:21:11It would have been very cool, but at the last minute, they decided to hire my now ex-boyfriend
00:21:17Oh, shit
00:21:18Yeah
00:21:18I'm sorry if I haven't been exactly cheery, it's just that it's been a stressful couple of days
00:21:23It's fine
00:21:24Yeah
00:21:24You know, it's a lot like my life
00:21:26Oh, yeah?
00:21:27Try me
00:21:27Well, the last six months, I've been playing hockey for this team in Michigan
00:21:31Trying to get called up to the Red Wings
00:21:33Some of the best hockey I've played in my life
00:21:35Week after week, some kid with half the talent gets called up because he's younger
00:21:40So why don't you quit?
00:21:41I've been playing since I was four
00:21:42My dad was in the NHL, but it's never been an option
00:21:46How do you keep yourself going?
00:21:48Well, you take the hit, you shake it off, and you get back out there
00:21:53Do that over and over again
00:21:55Eventually, you're going to get where you want to go
00:21:59That was a good pep talk
00:22:00It helps when you say it every morning in the mirror
00:22:03Oh
00:22:06Um, well, it's been a very interesting evening
00:22:11I'm glad you got your card back, and good luck in Idaho Falls
00:22:14Thanks
00:22:15Yeah
00:22:22Hey, um
00:22:25Do you mind if we share the cap?
00:22:27It's kind of late
00:22:28You do kind of owe me one
00:22:30I do?
00:22:30How do I owe you?
00:22:31I humiliated myself in front of my teammates using your card
00:22:34I humiliated myself trying to use your card in my hometown
00:22:41Yeah, sure
00:22:42Yeah, yeah
00:22:43Thank you
00:22:44Here
00:22:46Thank you
00:22:54845 Deerfield Court
00:22:55Wait, that's where I live
00:22:57Are you following me?
00:22:59That's my parents' house
00:23:00I'm staying in the guest cottage
00:23:02You're paying
00:23:09That's right, just take the hit
00:23:11Shake it off
00:23:12Get back on the ice
00:23:13Take the hit, shake it off
00:23:14Get back on the ice
00:23:17Okay
00:23:19You got this
00:23:20You got this, girl
00:23:24Hi, Donna, this is Ashley Durow over at Atlas Real Estate
00:23:27How are you?
00:23:28I am looking at your property on East 37th
00:23:31Brian, hi
00:23:33Listen
00:23:33Anyway, I just thought I'd call and see if you had any irons in the fire
00:23:36Call me when you get this
00:23:38I'll be around anytime
00:23:39Well, if anything comes up, please don't hesitate to give me a call, okay?
00:23:43Happy holidays
00:23:44Happy holidays
00:23:45Happy holidays
00:23:46Happy holidays
00:23:46Yeah, happy holidays
00:23:54Well, you certainly got up early
00:23:56Yeah, I'm sorry if I was too loud
00:23:58Not at all
00:23:59You look very nice, what's the occasion?
00:24:01It's my cider social dress
00:24:03Oh, right, getting ready
00:24:05Good
00:24:28Can I help you?
00:24:30Uh, yeah, I'm one of the hockey players
00:24:32Briggs, right?
00:24:34Yeah, that's right
00:24:35You're staying at our guest house
00:24:36I'm James Durow
00:24:38Nice to finally meet you
00:24:39Nice to meet you, too
00:24:42No one told me that I had to dress up for this
00:24:45Listen, you don't happen to sell sports coats here, do you?
00:24:50Follow me
00:24:54This place is basically my second home
00:24:57I'm sure I'll be able to find something for you
00:25:01Ugh, let's see
00:25:03No, no, ah
00:25:07This hasn't fit me for years, but I'm sure it'll work for you
00:25:11Thank you
00:25:11Hey, you're part of the Fighting Trout family
00:25:14That makes you part of the Durow family now, too
00:25:18Oh, don't forget your hat
00:25:21Ah
00:25:23Merry Christmas
00:25:37Okay, what did I miss?
00:25:39Oh, well
00:25:41They just crowned little Abigail this year's cider social princess
00:25:44And little Annie Sue is not happy about it
00:25:50What am I supposed to do?
00:25:52Oh
00:25:53Well
00:25:55You pick up the cider
00:25:56Yeah
00:25:57Like this
00:25:58And then you politely approach the table
00:26:01And you pour it into the cups
00:26:06Okay, I can do that
00:26:07Uh, what table?
00:26:13Oh
00:26:14I'd always remember the smile
00:26:17Okay
00:26:22Morning, ladies
00:26:23Mr. Briggs, looking rather dapper today
00:26:26Ah, I thank you, Ms. Durow
00:26:28So
00:26:28This is the famous debit card thing
00:26:32It's a pleasure to meet you
00:26:34Can I offer anyone here some cider?
00:26:36Yes, please
00:26:38All right
00:26:40There you are
00:26:43Don't forget Mr. Wiggles
00:26:45How could I forget Mr. Wiggles?
00:26:48There you are
00:26:50Now, can you do me a favor?
00:26:53And could you let Mr. Wiggles know that this cider is hot?
00:26:57And it should sit for a moment before he drinks it
00:27:02Thank you
00:27:03Um
00:27:04Are we all good?
00:27:06Um
00:27:06Perfect
00:27:07Thank you
00:27:10Well
00:27:11He seems sweet
00:27:13He's wearing dad's jacket
00:27:15So
00:27:16Dave use Temparo dad's clothes all the time
00:27:18Yeah, and Dave gave you rubber worms for your anniversary
00:27:21Because he knows I don't like to put the real ones on the hook
00:27:26I think what Ashley is trying to say
00:27:29Is that she has a perfectly suitable man in her life
00:27:31That we will all be meeting very soon
00:27:34Isn't that right?
00:27:36Yep
00:27:37So now we can all enjoy this rare time that we get to spend together
00:27:42Looks like someone's finally got that warm and fuzzy feeling, huh?
00:27:51What?
00:27:52Well, you said you're not a holiday guy
00:27:54But I can see that Christmas twinkle in your eye
00:27:59It's not a twinkle
00:28:00It's a tear
00:28:01Because the longer we're here, the less time we're at practice
00:28:04Well, we can practice any time
00:28:06This only comes around once a year
00:28:08Well, my time's running out
00:28:09So if I want to get moved up, it has to happen, like, yesterday
00:28:13I'm behind schedule, okay?
00:28:15So, if we could just get these crumpets out
00:28:18We could get back to work
00:28:22Wow
00:28:23You sure know how to ruin a cider social
00:28:39Well, that was lovely
00:28:40I have some last-minute shopping to do
00:28:43Anyone interested in joining me?
00:28:45Oh
00:28:45I told Becca that I would go see her new office
00:28:48But I'll see you guys later
00:28:50Have fun, sweetie
00:28:51I will
00:28:51I love you
00:28:51Bye
00:28:52Love you
00:28:52Ready?
00:28:53Let's go
00:28:57Uh-huh
00:28:57Oh, perfect
00:28:59Okay, I'll be there in 20 minutes
00:29:01Bye
00:29:02Hey, look at you
00:29:03Making deals
00:29:05Taking names
00:29:06Hi
00:29:07Um, okay
00:29:08I'm so sorry
00:29:09I know this is last-minute
00:29:11But I have to go show this house real quick
00:29:12That's okay
00:29:13That's fine
00:29:13Okay
00:29:15Hey
00:29:16You wouldn't want to come with, would you?
00:29:18Oh
00:29:19It's just that I get so nervous at these showings
00:29:22And I know how experienced you are
00:29:25Christmas manis on me if you come
00:29:27Well, you clearly got the negotiating part down
00:29:30I'm sold
00:29:30You are the best
00:29:35Lead the way
00:29:36Okay
00:29:38And, uh, this is the family room
00:29:44This is time, Becca
00:29:45How many bathrooms does it have?
00:29:48Um, 35
00:29:50Wait
00:29:50No
00:29:51Uh, 3.5
00:29:55There's a period
00:29:57Now, it's a good size
00:29:58I just wish that you could see the lake
00:30:01As soon as you walked in
00:30:02Um, yes
00:30:03Uh, that would be great
00:30:05You know, there's a really easy fix for that
00:30:07Is that so?
00:30:08Oh, yeah
00:30:09Yeah
00:30:09If you take out this wall here
00:30:11It would open everything up
00:30:14And then
00:30:15You would have this beautiful view
00:30:17As soon as you walk in
00:30:19I mean
00:30:21Look at those mountains
00:30:23That would be perfect, actually
00:30:26And, you know, I love
00:30:27The original hardwood floors out here
00:30:30I just wish it matched the kitchen
00:30:32Um, you know
00:30:34My uncle actually has a flooring business in town
00:30:37Uh, he could match any hardwood you find here
00:30:40And
00:30:41We could get you a great price, too
00:30:46I think this could work for us, Rax
00:30:48I think so, too
00:31:08Sorry
00:31:09Hey, Zettner
00:31:10Maybe if you're in for the stands
00:31:12We'll hit the net
00:31:16Hey
00:31:17You want some unsolicited advice?
00:31:20At this point, I'll take anything
00:31:21You're holding the stick too tight
00:31:22Loosen up a bit
00:31:24Yeah
00:31:26There you go
00:31:26Now with your wrist, I want you to turn the blade
00:31:30Yep
00:31:31Nice shoot
00:31:32Here goes nothing
00:31:38Hey
00:31:39Thanks, Scott
00:31:40Thanks, Scott
00:31:54All right, boys
00:31:56We've got two days to turn this place into a winter wonderland
00:32:00Let's get to it
00:32:03Hey, Pops
00:32:05Yeah, what do you want, Pierre?
00:32:08Can I, uh, talk to you for a second?
00:32:17I saw what you did
00:32:20With Zettner
00:32:22And
00:32:23I was, uh, wondering if
00:32:26If you can get some help on your breakaways
00:32:28You know?
00:32:29Yeah
00:32:30Everyone knows
00:32:30That's why I haven't been called to the Boise yet
00:32:32It's those one-on-ones
00:32:33I always seem to miss high
00:32:35It's because you're full of adrenaline
00:32:37You freeze up
00:32:38You need to breathe
00:32:39I think I know how to breathe
00:32:40Well, then try it
00:32:42But slowly
00:32:44Through your nose
00:32:46Okay
00:32:47Thanks
00:32:48I'll give it a try
00:32:49Guys!
00:32:51Come on, back to work
00:32:52I'm not being spoken to
00:32:58I think you might have just helped me sell my first house
00:33:02This is the perfect way to celebrate
00:33:04Teamwork makes the dream work
00:33:05Oh, yeah
00:33:06No wonder you're doing so well out there
00:33:10It's really not as exciting as you think it is
00:33:13What?
00:33:13I thought you loved it out there
00:33:15I did
00:33:16At first
00:33:18I really loved the people
00:33:20And the sounds of the city
00:33:21And the thrill of being anywhere but here
00:33:23Ew
00:33:24That makes sense
00:33:25Yeah, but lately, I don't know
00:33:27And I keep getting passed over by clients
00:33:29Who would rather be wined and dined at a golf course
00:33:31What about Trevor?
00:33:33Trevor
00:33:36I broke up with him
00:33:37What?
00:33:38When did this happen?
00:33:40The day I landed
00:33:41Why?
00:33:41I thought everything was going great
00:33:43And then as soon as I invited him home for Christmas to meet my family
00:33:47He turned into every other self-centered jerk I've dated in the last five years
00:33:50Gee
00:33:51What did your parents say?
00:33:53I haven't told them
00:33:55Ashley
00:33:56You have to tell them
00:33:57I know, I will
00:33:58I will tell them
00:34:01It's just, I always do this
00:34:02I make a big deal about a guy
00:34:05Thinking that he's perfect
00:34:06And how he could be the one
00:34:08And
00:34:09I just really hate feeling like I'm letting them down
00:34:12Please
00:34:13Your parents aren't going to care
00:34:15They're like the sweetest people in Idaho Falls
00:34:17They are the sweetest people
00:34:18And that is what makes it so hard to give them bad news
00:34:23Look
00:34:25You broke up with your boyfriend
00:34:26And you lost one client
00:34:29You will bounce back
00:34:30How do you know?
00:34:31I just do
00:34:32You know, any day now
00:34:34Some new client is going to call
00:34:35Looking for the amazing Ashley DeRoe
00:34:37And you won't even remember what you were down about
00:34:41Thank you
00:34:42You're welcome
00:34:43Come on
00:34:44With these sparkly beauties on your fingers
00:34:47I would say you're bouncing back already
00:34:49Yeah
00:34:50Do they bring out the sparkle in my eyes?
00:34:52They really do
00:34:53You're glowing
00:34:59Banks!
00:35:00Hey, Banks!
00:35:02I'm locking up here
00:35:03Gus!
00:35:04Come on, 30 more minutes
00:35:06I'm trying to get to Boise
00:35:07And I'm trying to get home
00:35:08To get my wife's homemade Christmas fudge
00:35:10Before the grandkids eat it
00:35:12Look
00:35:13There's a public rink on the edge of town
00:35:15If you need to get your fix in
00:35:28I pick Cameron
00:35:29Mom, and you always pick him
00:35:32And we always kick your butt
00:35:40I pick him
00:35:41Hey, you!
00:35:49Hey, do you know how to play hockey?
00:35:53According to the head coach of the Grand Rapids Griffins?
00:35:55No
00:35:56Well, you're on our team
00:35:58Come on
00:35:59What?
00:36:00I'm Parker
00:36:00I picked you for my team
00:36:02If you don't know how to play
00:36:04Just follow my lead
00:36:05Just follow your lead?
00:36:07Come on!
00:36:10Come on
00:36:23You're going down again, Parker
00:36:38Is that all you thought?
00:36:56Next goal wins
00:36:57Which means you lose again
00:37:16I get him tomorrow
00:37:20All right
00:37:20So what you're going to do
00:37:21Is present the puck to the defender
00:37:22And drag it around
00:37:26Put it in
00:37:27Can I try?
00:37:29Yeah, yeah
00:37:33Like this?
00:37:38Nice!
00:37:39Yeah
00:37:39Hey, where was that move
00:37:40In last night's game?
00:37:41Hey!
00:37:42What are you doing here?
00:37:43I'm picking up my nephew
00:37:45Aunt Ashley
00:37:46Come for a skate
00:37:47All right, fine
00:37:48I'm coming out
00:37:49But if I break a nail
00:37:50You're buying
00:38:01So, Parker's a pretty good kid
00:38:03Yeah
00:38:03Great hockey player
00:38:04Yeah, he's really sweet
00:38:06And Julie and Dave
00:38:07They never miss a game
00:38:08It's kind of a
00:38:09A big to-do in the family
00:38:11Lucky kid
00:38:13Did your parents not come to your game?
00:38:16Well, my mom did
00:38:17But she passed when I was ten
00:38:18So it was just me and my dad
00:38:20When you're in the NHL
00:38:21Your career sort of takes your priority
00:38:24So, he never coached your team or anything?
00:38:28Those that can't play, coach
00:38:31His favorite saying
00:38:33Well, still, he must have taught you something
00:38:35Yeah
00:38:36Tell me that to make it in hockey
00:38:37You can't be distracted by anything
00:38:39Even your family
00:38:42Yeah, I relate to that
00:38:45Why?
00:38:45What do you mean?
00:38:47Yeah, I mean
00:38:48I spent the last five years
00:38:49Trying to build this
00:38:51Perfect life and career
00:38:53In New York
00:38:53And
00:38:55I have not given myself
00:38:56A lot of spare time
00:38:57To come back home and visit
00:39:01So then why don't you just move back?
00:39:03To Idaho Falls
00:39:05Yeah
00:39:06I mean
00:39:06Can't you just sell real estate here?
00:39:08Might not be as prestigious as New York
00:39:10But
00:39:11I'm sure you can make a living
00:39:12I wish it were that simple
00:39:15Why isn't it?
00:39:17I
00:39:18I don't know
00:39:20I
00:39:20I mean, my parents sacrificed a lot
00:39:24Just for me to get out of this town
00:39:26You know, while all of their friends were busy
00:39:29Going on big cruises
00:39:30And buying luxury RVs
00:39:32They spent their entire savings on my college fund
00:39:35They even paid for my first apartment
00:39:37Before the commission checks were coming in
00:39:39That's all good and well
00:39:41But I mean, if you're not happy
00:39:45Well, what about you?
00:39:46You know, I mean
00:39:47Don't you get tired of moving around all the time
00:39:50Chasing big dreams
00:39:51But never having a place to call home?
00:39:53I'm different
00:39:54Why?
00:39:57Because I never had what you had
00:39:58Our family was never together
00:40:01Now this
00:40:02This has always been my safe space
00:40:05I always felt at home on the ice
00:40:23Just breathe
00:40:24And Pierre Chesson will take the penalty shot for the trout
00:40:32Can he put the trout in the lead?
00:40:52Hey!
00:40:55Nice shot, kid!
00:40:56Thanks, Pops!
00:40:57Thanks, Pops!
00:41:00I overheard what's on the phone?
00:41:02I think someone in Boise got hurt
00:41:04They're going to bring one of us up.
00:41:06No, we've heard about an injury.
00:41:08Gus.
00:41:09Yeah?
00:41:10Somebody in Boise get hurt?
00:41:11Yeah, Walker, about two hours ago, separated his shoulder.
00:41:14He'll be out for a couple of months.
00:41:15Walker plays right wing.
00:41:16You play right wing.
00:41:18I remember.
00:41:20Briggs, come see me in my office.
00:41:25Oh.
00:41:32Scott.
00:41:32Hey.
00:41:37Ty Walker and Boise separated his shoulder against the Bobcats.
00:41:40Yeah, I heard.
00:41:42They need a new right wing.
00:41:46Coach, I just want to say how much I appreciate this.
00:41:49They're calling up Zetner.
00:41:53What?
00:41:55Zetner is moving up to Boise.
00:41:57Zetner?
00:41:58Hmm?
00:41:59I had to teach him how to keep the puck from killing half our fan base.
00:42:01What?
00:42:02Why Zetner?
00:42:03Because he's a lot faster than you.
00:42:05Look, I know it's disappointing, but the big club isn't looking for 32-year-old rookies.
00:42:11But I want you to know that I see the way you've been helping out the younger guys.
00:42:15Yeah.
00:42:16So I can help them move up.
00:42:18There's one more thing.
00:42:21You're cutting me.
00:42:22No.
00:42:23Zetner was supposed to coach the kids' Christmas hockey game tomorrow.
00:42:26Carl, I need you to step in.
00:42:31I don't know anything about coaching a bunch of kids.
00:42:34You taught Pierre how to actually score on a penalty shot.
00:42:38I'm sure you can handle a pee-wee hockey game.
00:42:43Wow.
00:42:44Are these all for Parker?
00:42:45No, no.
00:42:46Just some donations for the jamboree.
00:42:48Oh.
00:42:48Oh.
00:42:49Grandma's donating a family scarf?
00:42:51Oh, no.
00:42:52She made that for Trevor.
00:42:53Did he get his flights figured out?
00:42:55We only have a few days till Christmas.
00:43:00Oh, honey, what's the matter?
00:43:01Is the coffee too bland?
00:43:02No.
00:43:03No, no, no, no.
00:43:04No, the coffee's fine.
00:43:07No, it's Trevor.
00:43:10He's not coming.
00:43:12Oh, well, that's all right, sweetie.
00:43:13I mean, there's always next year.
00:43:16No, he probably won't come next year either.
00:43:20Oh.
00:43:21I'm so sorry.
00:43:23I should have told you guys sooner.
00:43:24I just...
00:43:26I don't know.
00:43:27Julie has Dave.
00:43:28And you two have each other.
00:43:30And I just thought that this would finally be a perfect Christmas
00:43:33where I bring someone home.
00:43:34And when it all fell apart, I...
00:43:41I don't know.
00:43:42I just felt very embarrassed.
00:43:43Oh, Ashley, we don't need some hotshot
00:43:46who clearly is not good enough for our daughter
00:43:48to make it a perfect Christmas.
00:43:49Well, to tell you the truth, I'm a bit relieved.
00:43:53You are.
00:43:54I didn't like this Trevor fellow from the beginning.
00:43:56Dad, you never even met him.
00:43:58That's why I didn't like him.
00:44:00You ask me, you dodged a real bullet with this one.
00:44:08Thanks, guys.
00:44:12As always, a big shout-out to our hometown heroes,
00:44:16the Fighting Trout,
00:44:17for sponsoring these developing young players.
00:44:19Hey, you made it.
00:44:21Hey, yeah, I made it.
00:44:22Where's Dave?
00:44:23He's not allowed within 50 feet of the referee anymore.
00:44:31What?
00:44:32Yeah.
00:44:33Forget Dave.
00:44:33He's the new coach you should be worried about.
00:44:37What?
00:44:38Scott's coaching?
00:44:39More like nervously pacing.
00:44:41Hey, rookie!
00:44:44Hey!
00:44:45How you doing?
00:44:47You look a little pale.
00:44:48Well, they threw me into this last minute.
00:44:49I have no idea what I'm doing.
00:44:53Okay.
00:44:54Okay.
00:44:55You remember how you told me your dad was never around to coach you?
00:44:59Bringing up my absentee father right now is not helping.
00:45:03Just be the coach you wanted him to be.
00:45:08You got this.
00:45:14On my left, we have the green team,
00:45:17coached by our Trout's own sharpshooter,
00:45:19Pierre Chasson.
00:45:21And on my right,
00:45:23it is the red team,
00:45:24coached by our newest recruit from the east,
00:45:26Scott Briggs.
00:45:30Yeah!
00:45:30Let's go, Coach Briggs!
00:45:32Yeah!
00:45:34Yeah!
00:45:37Get back on defense!
00:45:39Good job, team!
00:45:46Hey, Brett, come on!
00:45:47Give me 50 feet, Dave!
00:45:50Sorry, Brent.
00:45:51No problem.
00:45:53Okay.
00:45:54All right.
00:45:54Okay.
00:45:54You got it, Parker.
00:45:55You got it!
00:45:56You got it, too, honey!
00:46:03Hands up!
00:46:04Hands up!
00:46:07Hands up!
00:46:20I don't know what you said to Scott, but it worked.
00:46:29You know, now that you're single, maybe you ought to invite him to dinner tonight.
00:46:33You heard about that, huh?
00:46:35I didn't have to hear anything.
00:46:37I knew something was wrong the moment you landed.
00:46:39I just wish you were comfortable enough to tell me about it.
00:46:41I just, I don't want you to worry.
00:46:43I'm your big sister!
00:46:44I'm always going to worry because I know how great you are and what kind of man you deserve.
00:46:49Big big sis.
00:46:51There's no place that I'd rather be than with my friends and family.
00:46:56Cut out!
00:46:57Cut out!
00:46:57Cut out!
00:46:58Cut out!
00:46:59Oh, it smells delicious.
00:47:01I knew you'd get back on your feet, dear.
00:47:04Oh, no.
00:47:05I was never...
00:47:06Oh, okay.
00:47:07She doesn't care.
00:47:09All right, guys.
00:47:10Tie game.
00:47:10This is when we've got to really reach down deep and bring it.
00:47:12Arlo, Brad, great job on defense.
00:47:14Keep it up.
00:47:15Allie, I want you to get the puck.
00:47:16I want you to feed it to Parker.
00:47:17Parker, I want you to take it hard to the net.
00:47:19Remember the move.
00:47:20I got it, coach.
00:47:23All right.
00:47:24I'll shut him down.
00:47:25Team on three.
00:47:26One, two, three.
00:47:27Team!
00:47:32All right, guys.
00:47:34Let's go.
00:47:34Hits up.
00:47:35Hits up.
00:47:37Let's go, guys.
00:47:38Hustle.
00:47:38Come on.
00:47:39Come on.
00:47:40Hey.
00:47:40Defense.
00:47:42Open it.
00:47:42Open it.
00:47:43Go Parker!
00:47:46Here we go.
00:47:46Here we go.
00:47:48Yes!
00:47:49Yes!
00:48:12That was a great game, Scott.
00:48:14Yeah, it must have something to do with the coach.
00:48:16It's pretty easy when you've got a player like Parker.
00:48:18He's quite the athlete.
00:48:19Yeah.
00:48:20He gets his natural-born athletic ability from me.
00:48:23Okay, we're going to grab Parker and head back to the house.
00:48:26See you there?
00:48:27Mm-hmm.
00:48:31So, um, I know you said that you feel more at home on the ice, but we're headed back to
00:48:38our actual home to have dinner if you'd like to join.
00:48:42It might be more fun than reading old copies of Sports Illustrated in the guest house.
00:48:47Have you been spying on me?
00:48:48Well, it was either that or Old Stanley Cup Highlights on YouTube.
00:48:55So, do you want to come to dinner or what?
00:49:00Sure.
00:49:01You do?
00:49:02Yeah.
00:49:03I mean, a guy's got to eat.
00:49:05Yeah?
00:49:05Yeah.
00:49:17Okay, so just a heads up.
00:49:19After dinner, my grandma is going to offer you eggnog.
00:49:22Just say no.
00:49:24Why?
00:49:25I love eggnog.
00:49:26Oh, I love eggnog, too, but this is not eggnog.
00:49:28No, no, no.
00:49:29No, this is a witch's brew.
00:49:31So, I'm no expert for family dinners, but if somebody offers me something, I think it'd
00:49:36be rude to say no.
00:49:37Trust me, if you drink it, you will regret it.
00:49:42I'll be fine.
00:49:45Okay.
00:49:47Well, I used to play a little puck back in the day.
00:49:49If you ever need a right winger with a slapper like a rocket ship, you tell him to give old
00:49:54Dave a call.
00:49:57Oh, easy there, Gretzky.
00:50:01Who's ready for some eggnog?
00:50:03Not me.
00:50:04I have to clean up.
00:50:05I'll help.
00:50:08Dave?
00:50:09Uh, sorry, Stella, I'm on a diet.
00:50:12Scott, you have to try my homemade recipe.
00:50:15Um, okay.
00:50:18Ow!
00:50:19Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll try it.
00:50:22I mean, it's not like it's going to kill me to have a little taste, right?
00:50:26You drink up now.
00:50:27There's plenty more where that came from.
00:50:29Okay.
00:50:30Okay.
00:50:30Mm-hmm.
00:50:34Mm-hmm.
00:50:35Mm-hmm.
00:50:50Mm-hmm.

00:52:26i know i'm kind of new to this whole thing but isn't a christmas tree like
00:52:30inside the house no i've never heard of that
00:52:37so explain this to me again so when i was little i loved decorating the christmas tree so much that
00:52:45when we had to throw it away i would have a full-on meltdown just temper tantrum for days you
00:52:53know i
00:52:54don't believe it anyway one day my dad comes home with a little itty bitty tree and he tells me
00:53:01that
00:53:01if i help him plant it we will have a christmas tree all year long and that was gosh that
00:53:09was 20

00:55:08it's really nice to see someone who's actually happy about what they're buying for a change what
00:55:13because your clients aren't happy no oh no they're happy about the deal that i get them but it's not
00:55:18like they're starting families or making memories you know i was thinking about how you were looking
00:55:27for a new client yeah i just found out that wendy vaughn who sells like half the houses in this
00:55:34town
00:55:35is retiring that means a lot more potential clients i see i know it's crazy i just thought
00:55:43maybe if things weren't working out in new york you and i could start a team well i have to
00:55:51admit
00:55:51you're a lot more fun to work with than my current colleagues agreed i don't know that's just that's a
00:55:59really big change you know i'm not not sure that i'm quite ready for that no no of course it's
00:56:08just an

01:01:15Admit it, you had fun.
01:01:17I wouldn't go that far.
01:01:18Although it was kind of nice to take down Dave.
01:01:21I think we'd make a pretty decent team.
01:01:24Yeah.
01:01:26Hey, can I ask you a serious question?
01:01:29Sure.
01:01:30You grew up here.
01:01:31So you've seen a bunch of players come and go.
01:01:33Mm-hmm.
01:01:36Do you think I have what it takes to get to Boise?
01:01:39Are you serious?
01:01:41Yeah.
01:01:44Yeah, it's just...
01:01:47I have pursued this my whole life.
01:01:50And sometimes I wonder if I'm being delusional.
01:01:55You know, like if I should start considering other options.
01:01:58What other options?
01:02:03Coaching.
01:02:05Coach Jensen said that there might be...
01:02:07There might be an assistant coaching position for me next year.
01:02:13Do you want to coach the Trout?
01:02:16I don't know.
01:02:19Maybe.
01:02:21It would be nice to settle down somewhere.
01:02:28Sorry.
01:02:31Oh.
01:02:32You should really see who this is.
01:02:36I'm sorry.
01:02:37Can I just meet you over by the gingerbread table?
01:02:39Yeah.

01:02:56That property is so beautiful.
01:02:58Yeah, we think so too.
01:03:00And going over your recent sales, I think you might be the right agent for the job.
01:03:03Well, I'd hate to disagree with you on that.
01:03:06Listen, there's one catch.
01:03:08Okay.

01:03:29in the new year.
01:03:32Okay.

01:20:58What are you doing here?
01:21:00I thought you were in Boise.
01:21:02I was.
01:21:03You know, I couldn't stand the thought of spending Christmas with 23 guys I barely know.
01:21:09When I already have the perfect team right here.
01:21:13Yeah, but that was your dream.
01:21:16You know, I think my dream was to prove to myself that I'm just as good as my dad.
01:21:26Because of you and your crazy family, I realized that I don't have to play hockey to do that.
01:21:36So what are you going to do?
01:21:42I took the coaching job.
01:21:45And I was thinking, if I stuck around Idaho Falls, maybe, maybe I could see you again next Christmas.
01:22:01You took a coaching job.
01:22:07Just on the off chance that you might see me one week after the year.
01:22:15Well, maybe that wasn't the only reason.

01:22:54Sounds great.
01:22:55Actually, I have no clue where I'm going to stay tonight, so maybe you can find me a place.
01:22:58Well, I may know of a cute little cottage that just opened up.
01:23:01How are the neighbors?
01:23:02A little goofy, but their youngest daughter is delightful.
01:23:05We should really get to know her.
01:23:07I can't wait.
