Project Manager Tom and his 13-year-old daughter Grace recently moved from Australia to the small US town of Ashbury Grove. Determined to give Grace the best Christmas ever, he embarks on a secret mission, leaving Grace to explores her new surroundings. In the backyard, covered by snow, Grace finds a time capsule containing a guide to the perfect family Christmas. Together, Tom and Grace decide to investigate the mysterious capsule, leading them to Elizabeth, the owner of the local bakery who agrees to help them on their quest. While Tom and Grace embrace all that is Christmas, for Elizabeth it's a sad reminder of the father she lost. As they work their way through the capsule's list, Tom and Elizabeth begin to fall for one another proving there is no time like Christmas to reveal old, and make new memories.

00:06:27This looks like a time capsule.
00:06:29Where'd you find it?
00:06:31It was buried in the backyard.
00:06:34Huh.
00:06:35It's interesting.
00:06:36I wonder who it belongs to.
00:06:38Do you think they're missing it?
00:06:40Well, no.
00:06:41Usually when someone buries something like this,
00:06:43it's in the hopes of giving whoever finds it a glimpse into the owner's life at the time.
00:06:47So, it's not like it's lost.
00:06:50They left it there on purpose for someone to find.
00:06:53Lucky you.
00:06:54That makes sense.
00:06:56Still, wouldn't it be fun to find out who it belongs to?
00:07:00Sure, yeah.
00:07:02But we don't know if they still live around here.
00:07:04Well, if we do all the things on the list
00:07:06and the person who made it kept up their traditions over the years,
00:07:09we're bound to run into them at some point.
00:07:12I don't know, kiddo.
00:07:13We still have a lot to do here.
00:07:16Come on.
00:07:17Didn't you just say you wanted a break?
00:07:19How about some hot cocoa?
00:07:22That I did.
00:07:24And you know I love hot cocoa.
00:07:26All right.
00:07:27Let's do it.
00:07:29Oh, you sure you don't want another buckwheat flour pancake first?
00:07:33No, thank you.
00:07:34It smells like heaven in here.
00:07:58It really does, doesn't it?
00:07:59Good to see you again.
00:08:00Thank you so much.
00:08:02There you go.
00:08:03Nice.
00:08:04Dollar change.
00:08:05Perfect.
00:08:12By the way, the cup came from here.
00:08:15What's that, sweetheart?
00:08:15The cup from the time cap show.
00:08:17Oh, cool.
00:08:19Hi.
00:08:20On your account.
00:08:23Hi there.
00:08:24Hi.
00:08:25The place looks great.
00:08:27It's like a Santa's workshop or something.
00:08:29You think so?
00:08:30I will give the compliment to my mom.
00:08:32Decorations are all her.
00:08:33Yeah, please do.
00:08:35So, uh, what can I get you to?
00:08:36We're going to have two hot cacos to go, please.
00:08:39Darn.
00:08:39Um, we just sold out.
00:08:41I'm so sorry.
00:08:42Aw.
00:08:43I know.
00:08:44I'm so sorry.
00:08:44It's our best seller, and he just got the last one of the day.
00:08:49Must be one heck of a hot cocoa to sell it before noon.
00:08:52It's my fault.
00:08:53I didn't order enough cocoa for the week.
00:08:56It's no one's fault, Mom.
00:08:57I'm going to replenish the stock later today, so if you guys come back tomorrow, I will have
00:09:00a cup with your name on it.
00:09:02Sounds good.
00:09:03We'll definitely have to come back tomorrow, yeah?
00:09:04Yeah.
00:09:05And what's your name?
00:09:07Grace.
00:09:07I'm April.
00:09:09You like Christmas, Grace?
00:09:10It's only the best holiday.
00:09:12Presents, tasty food, and festival.
00:09:16Christmas break.
00:09:17I'm April.
00:09:19Well, in the spirit of Christmas, here's little something to hold you off until tomorrow.
00:09:24On the house.
00:09:25That's very kind of you.
00:09:26Right, Grace?
00:09:28You're most welcome.
00:09:29I'll be in the back if you need me.
00:09:32So, I know we're out of what you came for, but anything else I can get you while you're
00:09:36here?
00:09:36Uh, yeah, sure.
00:09:38Just grab a latte.
00:09:39Thanks.
00:09:40Got it.
00:09:41So, you're not from around here, are you?
00:09:44What gave it away?
00:09:45The accent?
00:09:47All that, and it's a small town.
00:09:49I'd remember if I'd seen you before.
00:09:50We just moved here, actually.
00:09:52Well, then, welcome.
00:09:53Uh, let me guess.
00:09:55Australia?
00:09:56Yeah, Sydney.
00:09:57I've always wanted to go.
00:09:58Oh, you should.
00:09:59You should.
00:10:00It's really beautiful.
00:10:02April and October.
00:10:03It's, like, perfect weather for me.
00:10:05Okay.
00:10:06Spring and fall.
00:10:07Noted.
00:10:07Yeah.
00:10:08Must be a huge change to go from hot and sunny to freezing cold, huh?
00:10:12Yeah, it's definitely different, but, like, in a good way.
00:10:15You know, I never understood why winter got such a bad rep.
00:10:18Especially at night, when there's just this beautiful, delicate snowfall.
00:10:23It's just so magical.
00:10:24That's cool.
00:10:27Exactly.
00:10:29Well, uh, if you have any questions about anything while you're settling in, you know where to find us.
00:10:33I'll get that in mind.
00:10:34Thanks.
00:10:35Done.
00:10:36Oh, you made quick work of that candy cane.
00:10:39I love Christmas.
00:10:40Well, nice meeting you.
00:10:43Elizabeth.
00:10:44Tom.
00:10:45My daughter, Grace.
00:10:46And, uh, we will see you tomorrow for Take Two of That Hot Cocoa.
00:10:50Sounds good.
00:10:50Bye.
00:10:51Bye.
00:10:52Next up, cookie ingredients.
00:10:54Yum.
00:11:16Yum.
00:11:17Those look T-A-S-T-Y.
00:11:20How long before we can dig in?
00:11:22Oh, these are too hot, but, uh...
00:11:24You can start decorating these ones now.
00:11:27They're good.
00:11:29Oh!
00:11:32Just be a minute.
00:11:37Hello?
00:11:38Mr. Jones.
00:11:40I'm glad I finally caught you.
00:11:42I've been trying to reach you for days.
00:11:44Yeah, yeah, sorry about that.
00:11:46We had a long journey, but, uh, we got in last night.
00:11:49Oh, good, great, great.
00:11:50Listen, I, uh, I wanted to get in touch with you about the plan you drafted.
00:11:54Perfect.
00:11:55Yeah, yeah.
00:11:56Uh, well, it's my daughter's first Christmas here in America with real snow, and we're really excited to...
00:12:00I, I have some bad news, unfortunately.
00:12:04I don't think my team's gonna be able to pull off the backyard Christmas fare you wanted in time for December 23rd.
00:12:10Oh.
00:12:12How come?
00:12:13Well, mainly because most of the vendors you requested are, unfortunately, already booked.
00:12:22Well, I would've reached out sooner, but we didn't even know if we'd be here by Christmas.
00:12:28Um, which vendor's not available?
00:12:31Well, the food truck, the Santa's sleigh, the reindeer petting zoo.
00:12:35So, pretty much all of them, then?
00:12:37There are some, uh, jugglers available, if you want me to book them.
00:12:40No, no, no, that's all right.
00:12:42Um, oh, uh, what about the gingerbread bouncy castle?
00:12:46Oh, the gingerbread bouncy house.
00:12:52It's not gonna happen.
00:12:53Well, uh, what am I supposed to do?
00:12:59Look, I understand how disappointing this must be to hear, but this time of year is always the busiest.
00:13:08Look, uh, Natalie, it's just, I really need to make this the best Christmas ever for my daughter.
00:13:16She's been through so much as it is.
00:13:18Well, I have a lot on my plate, so I shouldn't be committing to this.
00:13:29But I'll have a look at some alternative ideas for you.
00:13:33Really?
00:13:36Thank you so much.
00:13:38My honest opinion is that we won't be able to execute what you want in the time frame that you need.
00:13:44My advice would be to scale it down, way down.
00:13:48Look, I really just want it to be like home.
00:13:52So if there is any way to make that happen...
00:13:56All right.
00:13:59All right.
00:14:00But I'm gonna need your help to narrow things down.
00:14:03Are you free for the next few hours?
00:14:06Yeah, yeah.
00:14:07For this, I can be.
00:14:09Let me call you back.
00:14:10All right, bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:11Bye.
00:14:18So, looks like I have to go to work on something for a few hours.
00:14:23Aren't you on Christmas break?
00:14:25I am.
00:14:26But, uh, it's not really for work, but it is a special project.
00:14:30Sorry for the mystery.
00:14:32It'll all make sense soon, trust me.
00:14:34But, just know that I wouldn't do it if it wasn't very, very important.
00:14:41I can handle the decorating anyway.
00:14:43It's the best part.
00:14:44Tell you what.
00:14:45Tomorrow, let's continue our mission to figure out who this mysterious time capsule owner is.
00:14:50What's next on the list anyway?
00:14:52The nativity scene.
00:14:54Let's go to that, and then swing by the cafe afterwards.
00:14:57Sounds great, Dad.
00:15:00You know, I am the luckiest dad in the world to have such an understanding daughter.
00:15:07Love you.
00:15:08Woof!
00:15:08Well, hello again.
00:15:36These are for you.
00:15:37And April.
00:15:38I know you make cookies for a living, but I hope you still like them.
00:15:41Oh, that is so sweet, literally.
00:15:44They're also from my dad.
00:15:45Speaking of your dad, where is he?
00:15:47He had to stay behind and walk.
00:15:49Oh, bummer.
00:15:51So, what are you up to?
00:15:54Right now?
00:15:55Mm-hmm.
00:15:56Not much.
00:15:58I don't really know anyone here yet.
00:16:01Well, unless you want to give me a hand in the kitchen with some scones.
00:16:04Really?
00:16:05Mm-hmm.
00:16:05If you like making cookies, then this is just as fun.
00:16:08Sounds a way better than what I was going to do.
00:16:11Which is what?
00:16:12Unpacking.
00:16:12Ugh, no.
00:16:15Come on.
00:16:16Follow me.
00:16:20Hi, all.
00:16:21Would any vendors be available to work on December 23rd?
00:16:30Grace, how are those cookies coming?
00:16:32Grace?
00:16:35Grace?
00:16:56Hello?
00:16:58Tom, hi.
00:16:59Hi.
00:17:00Hi, hi.
00:17:01Is Grace here?
00:17:01Yeah, she's just helping me with some pastry prep.
00:17:05Good.
00:17:06Oh, I'm sorry.
00:17:08I thought you knew she was here.
00:17:09I didn't until about ten minutes ago.
00:17:11But thank you for keeping an eye on her.
00:17:13No problem at all.
00:17:15Yeah.
00:17:23Dad, I learned how to make dough.
00:17:25I left you a note.
00:17:31That is not the same as talking to me.
00:17:33You can't just leave without telling me where you're going.
00:17:36Especially in an unfamiliar place, okay?
00:17:38I'm sorry.
00:17:39I didn't want to interrupt you while you were working, so I thought a note would be better.
00:17:43Oh, that's very thoughtful of you.
00:17:46But next time, just come and find me, okay?
00:17:48We need to communicate before you go off and do something, because it doesn't matter what
00:17:52I'm doing, we'll always, always be there for you, okay?
00:17:57Yeah.
00:17:58Come here.
00:18:00Love you.
00:18:03Now get your jacket on, okay?
00:18:05Okay.
00:18:05Sorry about that.
00:18:10I was just a little worried.
00:18:13I'm a dad.
00:18:14That's what I do.
00:18:16Now, what is all this about the dough?
00:18:19We were making raspberry scones.
00:18:21No way!
00:18:22It's my absolute favorite.
00:18:25Mine too.
00:18:31You two sure are eager for this hot cocoa.
00:18:34Ah, Grace came by earlier to drop off some cookies for us.
00:18:37Oh, how thoughtful.
00:18:39You've raised such a sweet girl.
00:18:42Thanks.
00:18:42She really is.
00:18:44That's why I need to keep track of her.
00:18:46All right, we better take off.
00:18:50Thanks again for watching her.
00:18:51I appreciate it.
00:18:53Come on.
00:18:54Thanks, Elizabeth.
00:18:55Come back any time.
00:18:59Two visits in one day, huh?
00:19:02What?
00:19:03Nothing.
00:19:04I just think it's nice to see some fresh faces around, that's all.
00:19:09Uh-huh.
00:19:10And I did notice he's not wearing a ring.
00:19:13There it is.
00:19:16Mom, I see what you're trying to do, but you know I'm not really looking to date, right?
00:19:20That's what you always say.
00:19:23I'm just focusing on me right now, you know, trying to get through the holidays in one piece.
00:19:28I know this time of year is tough for you, but all the more reason to share it with someone.
00:19:33Plus, everyone knows the best time to find someone is when you least expect it.
00:19:38Yeah, I always thought the best time to find someone was when you actually wanted to.
00:19:42Well, sometimes destiny has other plans.
00:19:48All right.
00:19:48All right.
00:19:49I won't push.
00:19:51I appreciate that.
00:19:52For now, anyway.
00:19:54What was that?
00:19:54Oh, nothing.
00:19:55Nothing there.
00:20:02Where'd you get that old thing?
00:20:05You made that when you were six.
00:20:06Oh.
00:20:08I mean, it's kind of nice.
00:20:16Here it is.
00:20:17Mom's angel.
00:20:18You know, when I was your age, we had a very sparkly star right at the top of our Christmas tree.
00:20:43And, uh, I remember thinking that it was so bright that if the light hit it just right, it would totally blind me.
00:20:55Do you think we'll get some new decorations for the house?
00:20:58Well, I thought you wanted to use the decorations from back home.
00:21:03I do.
00:21:04It's just, if we're getting a fresh new start, why not get some fresh new stuff to go along with it?
00:21:11Yeah.
00:21:13Well, there's already a lot of change happening, Gracie.
00:21:16It's nice to keep some things the same.
00:21:22Like this?
00:21:24Yeah, see?
00:21:26Boop, boop, boop.
00:21:26Nostalgia's not so bad.
00:21:29I like this guy.
00:21:38Any new clues?
00:21:39Not unless I get a match on this handwriting.
00:21:42Can I look?
00:21:46Hmm.
00:21:49Pretty good penmanship.
00:21:52Do you think it's a boy or a girl?
00:21:54Oh, it's tough to say.
00:21:56I hate to interrupt the investigative work.
00:22:00But it's time for some sleep.
00:22:04Do you think we can go to the candlelight ceremony?
00:22:07Like it says in the time capsule?
00:22:08Yeah.
00:22:09Yeah.
00:22:10Yeah, I think we can work that out.
00:22:12When is it?
00:22:13December 23rd.
00:22:14Oh.
00:22:16What?
00:22:16Well, you know that special project I've been working on?
00:22:19It is due on December 23rd.
00:22:20It is due on December 23rd.
00:22:23But who knows?
00:22:24Maybe we'll have time for both.
00:22:25But I don't have a promise.
00:22:28That's okay.
00:22:28Still, I hope we find the time capsule owner before then.
00:22:36Either way.
00:22:37Oh, well.
00:22:38Gracie, we don't even know if they live in town anymore.
00:22:40I just think if it were mine, I'd want it back.
00:22:45You know?
00:22:46Even though I left it for someone else to find, it feels like something really special got lost.
00:22:51Well, if anyone can solve the mystery, it's you.
00:22:57Because I, for one, am glad Detective Grace is on the case.
00:23:01Hey.
00:23:03Where's that newspaper article?
00:23:09Yeah.
00:23:11Hmm.
00:23:12How old does this boy look to you?
00:23:15It's kind of hard to tell.
00:23:17Yeah, but maybe he's about the age of someone who might make a time capsule.
00:23:21Don't you think?
00:23:22Definitely.
00:23:23Do you think he'll be at the nativity scene tomorrow?
00:23:26Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
00:23:30On that note, let's get some shot-o, shall we?
00:23:35All right, T.
00:23:37Good night, Dad.
00:23:38Oh, good night, sweetheart.
00:23:39Sleep well.
00:23:40Love you.
00:23:40Love you, too.
00:23:41All right.
00:23:51Dad, look.
00:24:00Do you recognize him?
00:24:02Uh, no.
00:24:03He was at a cafe yesterday.
00:24:06He got the last cup of cocoa.
00:24:08Don't worry.
00:24:09We'll get ours right after this.
00:24:10And what I mean is, he got hot cocoa.
00:24:14Now he's here.
00:24:17Wait.
00:24:18You don't think that...
00:24:20Hello, everyone.
00:24:21And welcome.
00:24:22As some of you may know,
00:24:24my family and I have been planning this nativity scene since I was a kid.
00:24:28But this year, I wanted to do something extra special.
00:24:42It's totally gonna be his time capsule, right?
00:24:45Well, he clearly loves Christmas.
00:24:46We'll have to talk to him.
00:24:48Yoo-hoo!
00:24:49Oh, April.
00:24:50Hey, how are you?
00:24:51I'm well, dear.
00:24:53Happy to see such a good turnout here.
00:24:56Did you say a prayer yet?
00:24:57As soon as we got here.
00:24:59Good.
00:25:00Is Elizabeth with you?
00:25:02No, I'm afraid not.
00:25:04She hasn't been to this for a very long time.
00:25:08She also had to open the bakery.
00:25:10Oh, we're gonna be headed there pretty soon,
00:25:12right after we talk to, um...
00:25:15Where did he go?
00:25:18Where did who go?
00:25:20You don't happen to know the man
00:25:21that was speaking at the podium before, do you?
00:25:23David?
00:25:24David Smith.
00:25:25I guess you do.
00:25:26Everyone knows David.
00:25:28In fact, he used to live in your house.
00:25:32Well, how do you know where we live?
00:25:33I have my ways.
00:25:35Right.
00:25:37Well, um, would you know how we can get a hold of him?
00:25:40Grace has a question she'd like to ask.
00:25:42Oh.
00:25:43Well, luckier for you, I do.
00:25:45He actually works at the Christmas tree lot
00:25:47just outside of town.
00:25:48He's probably going to be back tomorrow afternoon.
00:25:53Tomorrow?
00:25:54That's forever.
00:25:57Well, anyway, I'd better get back to the bakery.
00:26:01See you guys later?
00:26:02Yeah, yeah, we'll see you there soon.
00:26:03Okay.
00:26:04Bye.
00:26:04Bye.
00:26:06Oh.
00:26:07Well, what do you think, kiddo?
00:26:10Until we can visit the tree lot,
00:26:12we may as well just move on to the next thing on the list.
00:26:14And what's that?
00:26:15Making our own tree ornaments.
00:26:18Maybe we'll catch this David person at the craft store?
00:26:20Yeah, worth a shot.
00:26:22Come on.
00:26:22But first, hot cocoa.
00:26:26Hot cocoa, okay.
00:26:30All I'm saying is you should think about doing it this year.
00:26:33I just don't think I'm ready yet, Mom.
00:26:35Sweetheart, don't take this the wrong way,
00:26:38but you're never going to be ready unless you push yourself.
00:26:41I don't know, Mom.
00:26:45I know you think you have big shoes to fill,
00:26:47but your father would be so proud of you just for trying.
00:26:51Morning.
00:26:53Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt.
00:26:56It's fine.
00:26:57Hi.
00:26:58So we are here for those famous hot cocoa's, please.
00:27:02Oh, right.
00:27:02Yes, of course.
00:27:04I'd better finish off the cupcakes.
00:27:06Cupcakes?
00:27:07I could always use someone to taste test the buttercream.
00:27:12Go on.
00:27:16So...
00:27:16I was just going to ask, is everything okay?
00:27:21I couldn't help but overhear a little bit of that.
00:27:23Yeah.
00:27:24Yeah, um...
00:27:25Well, not entirely.
00:27:29It's just my mom.
00:27:31She wants me to say this speech at the candlelight ceremony,
00:27:34and I'm not particularly excited about the idea.
00:27:38Why is that, if you don't mind me asking?
00:27:41I mean, it's a long story.
00:27:43But, um, you know, this time of year, it's just a bit bittersweet for me.
00:27:47You don't like Christmas?
00:27:50No, it's not that I don't like Christmas.
00:27:53Um, it's just...
00:27:54Hey, I get it.
00:27:56I don't have to know the details to know that public speaking is...
00:27:59A little scary.
00:28:01Totally.
00:28:02Mm-hmm.
00:28:03But, when it comes to satisfying the sweet tooth, on the other hand,
00:28:07I know a thing or two.
00:28:08Not to brag.
00:28:12As promised, and on the house.
00:28:14Oh.
00:28:23Okay.
00:28:24Now I understand.
00:28:25This is a delicious hot cocoa.
00:28:28I'm glad you came back.
00:28:29Yes, definitely.
00:28:30You're not trying that without me, are you?
00:28:32Yours is right there.
00:28:39Yum.
00:28:40You prove?
00:28:42All right, kiddo.
00:28:43Let's go back and do some crafts.
00:28:45Craft?
00:28:46What are you two making?
00:28:47Uh, Christmas ornaments.
00:28:49Wait, you make your own?
00:28:50Well, this year we do, yeah.
00:28:52Wow, that's...
00:28:54That's really...
00:28:55Nice.
00:28:57Raise you to the car?
00:28:58Yeah, let's go.
00:29:01Oh, oh.
00:29:02Thanks very much for the delicious drink.
00:29:05Elizabeth.
00:29:13You almost on out there?
00:29:29Almost.
00:29:33Thanks for your patience, sweetie.
00:29:34I think I'm going to make one for David to give back to him when we return his time capsule.
00:29:39Well, that's very nice of you, but we still don't know it's his.
00:29:42Dad, come on.
00:29:44He drank the hot cocoa.
00:29:46Mm-hmm.
00:29:47He planned the nativity scene.
00:29:48He works at the tree lot, and we're living in his old house.
00:29:52The evidence all lines up.
00:29:54Nancy Drew herself would be impressed.
00:29:56But would Nancy Drew have run out of glue halfway through the project?
00:29:59What?
00:29:59You already finished the bottle?
00:30:01Hey, it takes a lot of glue to stick that many things together.
00:30:06But now I don't have any left for the rest of the ornaments.
00:30:10Huh.
00:30:15Well, come here.
00:30:16I do have to keep working on this, but...
00:30:20Yeah.
00:30:22I think I can take 20 minutes to go to the store and pick up some more.
00:30:25Thanks, Dad.
00:30:26You're welcome.
00:30:36April.
00:30:39Hi, neighbor.
00:30:41So that's how you knew where we lived?
00:30:44Busted.
00:30:45What a coincidence.
00:30:46No such thing as a coincidence in a small town.
00:30:49That's something I'm becoming quickly aware of.
00:30:51Yeah, how are you liking the place?
00:30:53Oh, it's been great so far.
00:30:55Still got a little bit...
00:30:57Well, lots of unpacking to do, but, uh...
00:31:01Yeah.
00:31:02Slowly starting to feel like home.
00:31:04I'm glad to hear it.
00:31:05Well, if you ever need a cup of sugar, you know where to buy me.
00:31:10Thanks, April.
00:31:11I'm happy to have a familiar face nearby.
00:31:13Oh, Tom, dear, I was wondering, are you and Grace around for dinner tomorrow night?
00:31:20That's very kind of you, but we wouldn't want to impose.
00:31:23Don't be silly.
00:31:24I'll be slow cooking a ham all day.
00:31:26I usually go with turkey at Christmas, but this is my excuse to make ham.
00:31:31In that case, that sounds lovely.
00:31:34Can we bring anything?
00:31:35No, just yourselves.
00:31:37Well, my mum always taught me never to arrive empty-handed.
00:31:41Well, on second thought, you could bring a dessert.
00:31:44Yeah.
00:31:44Maybe a holiday trifle with cranberries and pecans.
00:31:48That's, uh, specific.
00:31:53It's too much trouble, I...
00:31:55No, I've just... I've never made it before.
00:31:58Well, if you swing by and see Elizabeth, I'm sure she can point you in the right direction.
00:32:03Thanks for the tip.
00:32:04Of course.
00:32:06Well, I won't keep you.
00:32:08See you tomorrow.
00:32:09Yes, we will.
00:32:11What's that?
00:32:13Oh, nothing, dear. I'm just talking to myself.
00:32:16Bye.
00:32:18Barely moved in, and you're already decking the halls.
00:32:38Oh, priorities.
00:32:40Where's Grace?
00:32:41Oh, she's just inside, finishing some crafts.
00:32:44What brings you around so early?
00:32:46Well, my mum's opening up the bakery today, so she asked me to swing by her place to turn on the slow cooker.
00:32:52But now that that's done, you need a hint?
00:32:55Sure.
00:32:56Yeah, thanks.
00:32:57Thanks.
00:32:57Thanks.
00:32:57Thanks.
00:32:59Not bad.
00:33:11Not bad.
00:33:29Yeah, I think we make a pretty good team.
00:33:32Thank you so much for your help.
00:33:33Oh, I just remembered.
00:33:38Do you know how to make a trifle?
00:33:40I sure do.
00:33:41Why?
00:33:42Well, I ran into your mum, and she invited me and Grace to dinner tonight, and she asked me to bring a trifle with cranberries and...
00:33:49Popcons?
00:33:49How'd you know?
00:33:51How'd you know?
00:33:53That dessert is my specialty.
00:33:55Well, really?
00:34:00What?
00:34:01I'm just wondering if April's trying to play matchmaker.
00:34:04Does she do that a lot?
00:34:06No, no, not really.
00:34:08But she told me to wear something nice to dinner tonight, and now I know why.
00:34:12Um, but no, I'd be happy to share my recipe, if you want it.
00:34:21Yeah, that would be great, because I am useless in the kitchen.
00:34:27Why don't you stop by the bakery later, just before I close up?
00:34:31That sounds great.
00:34:37Well, uh, I better finish up out here.
00:34:39Um, I'll go see if Grace needs any help with craft clean-up.
00:34:43Yeah, she'd love to see it.
00:35:07One, two.
00:35:09I'll go see it.
00:35:39blue or green I like the green one that green it is thanks are you getting ready
00:35:49for your day day it is not a day thank you very much no Elizabeth is just
00:35:57helping with a recipe for dessert so you and I can bring something to dinner
00:36:00tonight that's awfully kind of her mm-hmm and when I get back let's go see
00:36:05David and ask him about that Christmas time capsule hey Tom hi I hope I'm not
00:36:16too early I can't believe it's already time to close up the day has just flown
00:36:20by oh tell me about it the older I get the more hours feel like minutes you
00:36:23know you had an international move the holidays Christmas feel like I can barely
00:36:27keep up anyway I thought I'd stop by here first to see what I need to pick up at
00:36:32the store for the dessert nothing I went earlier oh you didn't have to do that
00:36:39oh no don't sweat it I had to go get ingredients for the bakery anyways oh
00:36:43and your recipe all right thank you right it's my chicken scratch that bad no no
00:36:55it's it's not that it's just um how does one make cranberry sauce you've never
00:37:01made it before it's a classic Christmas side not in Australia really I mean
00:37:07we're more a prawns and oysters type people but if I want cranberry sauce I
00:37:12usually just buy it in a can you can't be serious yeah what yeah I like it in a can
00:37:18agree to disagree I'm looking you go well since I'm already here and you're the
00:37:28expert maybe you can teach me how to make this cuz I am no Gordon Ramsay I was just
00:37:31about to say the same thing I mean if you have time of course yeah yeah come
00:37:37with me okay so it is a fairly simple recipe the secret is orange zest in the
00:37:42cranberries orange zest so we're gonna do is we're gonna take a cup of water and we
00:37:49are gonna add some orange juice yes yes and sugar sugar mm-hmm we're gonna let it boil and
00:37:59then once it boils we're gonna add some orange zest and cranberries and give it about 10 minutes or so
00:38:06wait for them to burst voila cranberry sauce sounds pretty simple and trust me you will never reach for
00:38:12another can of cranberry sauce ever again well we're gonna have to see about that you're on how'd
00:38:17you get so confident in the kitchen uh I think I get it from my dad he taught me everything I need
00:38:23to know about baking in fact this trifle recipe was originally his well this must be one special dish
00:38:29then you sure you're okay letting me in on your family secrets yeah I think so oh I was meaning to
00:38:37ask you uh what made you move here to Ashbury Grove well we did a bit of a US road trip when
00:38:42Grace was a baby and always had fun memories at this place hmm yeah there's just something about
00:38:48this place isn't there sure is oh sorry I'll go get something to clean it up you around this place a
00:39:02long time um yeah very long time I bet you got some good stories um yeah some not so good um when
00:39:12my never mind no no what is it uh I don't really think I should come on we're friends aren't we
00:39:23right uh friends yeah so let me be your friend I'm a great listener and well I just don't understand
00:39:35so my dad yeah he built this place when I was little even named it after our dog I grew up in that
00:39:49kitchen um and then when he uh he got sick right before Christmas he would come in every day and
00:40:00still bake with me even when he should have been resting but there was no telling him what to do
00:40:07anyways uh sometimes when I'm working during this time of the year it's just brings it back you
00:40:16know like the good and the bad oh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to dredge that up for you no no it's
00:40:25all right actually feels nice to talk about him yeah I can relate you know Grace's mom my late wife
00:40:42you know she got sick a few years ago and passed away soon after and um it was really hard to know
00:40:50what to do because I wanted to be a good dad to Grace protect her keep her happy but um I needed
00:41:01time to grieve as well Tom I'm so sorry that's so tough yeah well it was tough leaving the home we
00:41:09all shared together but we needed a fresh start and that is why we moved away my point is
00:41:18that our kind of loss it isn't something that ever gets better you know it's just something we
00:41:26have to live with yeah exactly
00:41:28well Gracie oh slow down
00:41:42yeah um okay okay leave me right now see you soon bye bye is everything okay yeah yeah it's fine

00:48:55oh we would love to but
00:48:57well then it's a deal

00:49:00but dad's got a big project that's due the same day
00:49:03I can't guarantee we'll make it
00:49:06oh that's too bad

00:49:17well a small one for the foyer
00:49:19oh but I'm swamped tomorrow
00:49:22Elizabeth would you mind going for me?

00:49:28but what about the bakery?
00:49:33I can close in the afternoon don't worry
00:49:35Grace can even come
00:49:38give me a hand

00:49:44hey
00:49:45thought you wanted to go tree shopping
00:49:47it's okay

00:50:50well I can't take all the credit
00:50:53Elizabeth did most of the
00:50:56she did all the work
00:50:58it was all her
00:50:59so what's the verdict?
00:51:02still a diehard fan of canned cranberry?
00:51:05okay

00:51:11yes it does add flavor
00:51:12I don't want to say
00:51:14I told you so
00:51:15but
00:51:16hey Elizabeth
00:51:18will you come help me with this for a second?
00:51:22duty calls
00:51:22excuse me
00:51:23so
00:51:34about earlier
00:51:36now holidays are a really tough time for Elizabeth
00:51:40oh
00:51:41Christmas used to be her favorite holiday
00:51:44but
00:51:45since her dad passed away
00:51:47well
00:51:47so did all their traditions
00:51:49still
00:51:52I know how special that time capsule is
00:51:55and
00:51:55how much it means to her to go through it all again
00:51:58even though the memories are
00:52:00bittersweet
00:52:02well I can only imagine how hard this time of year is for her
00:52:06for both of you
00:52:08still I
00:52:11I have noticed though
00:52:13that her spirits have certainly been lifted since you've come to town
00:52:17oh
00:52:18I don't know what it is that you're doing but
00:52:21whatever it is keep doing it
00:52:23because
00:52:23my daughter's happiness means everything to me
00:52:26well I can relate to that
00:52:28I haven't seen Grace this happy in a long time
00:52:30look at her
00:52:32certainly is a wonderful feeling isn't it
00:52:35as a parent
00:52:35to see your child
00:52:37smile
00:52:38it's been pretty rare lately to be honest
00:52:40sorry
00:52:43I don't mean to overshare
00:52:45Tom
00:52:46you're talking to a woman who's seen it all
00:52:49this is a judgment-free zone trust me
00:52:52well
00:52:54you know moving
00:52:55moving to a new city
00:52:57it's one thing
00:52:57but moving to an entirely new country
00:52:59that is a whole other can of worms
00:53:01it is
00:53:02it's been a lot for her at once
00:53:04well
00:53:05big life changes can be hard for kids your age
00:53:08that special project she mentioned you're on December 23rd
00:53:12it's for her
00:53:13I can't tell her about it because I want it to be a surprise
00:53:16well
00:53:17whatever it is
00:53:19I'm sure
00:53:19she'll be thrilled
00:53:21well
00:53:21problem is
00:53:23not sure if it's gonna happen the way I hoped
00:53:26I can't seem to find anyone to set it up in such short notice
00:53:30oh
00:53:31well that's too bad
00:53:33the truth is
00:53:35I just want to give my daughter a great American Christmas
00:53:38she deserves it
00:53:41you're an incredibly thoughtful father
00:53:44can I share something with you that I learned a long time ago
00:53:49I'm always
00:53:51I used to be such a planner
00:53:55I would always have a plan B and a plan C
00:53:59just in case plan A didn't work out
00:54:02but I was always so busy
00:54:05thinking at every scenario that could happen
00:54:08that I didn't allow myself to actually enjoy what was happening in the moment
00:54:15after Elizabeth's father passed
00:54:20well it certainly gave me a new perspective
00:54:22to soak up every part of life
00:54:27even the curveballs
00:54:29so
00:54:31if things don't go the way you hope with your plan
00:54:37just remember that life is a funny way of working things out
00:54:41and sometimes where you wind up is better than anything you could have planned for
00:54:49hey dad
00:54:53can we put this on our tree tomorrow
00:54:55absolutely
00:54:56as long as I get to make some too

00:55:29that's amazing
00:55:30there is one teeny tiny caveat though
00:55:33I won't be available to oversee everything on the day of
00:55:37which means
00:55:38you're gonna have a ship without a captain
00:55:41unless
00:55:42unless
00:55:43what?
00:55:45well you take it on
00:55:46it will mean a lot of work for you over the next couple of days
00:55:49but I don't know anyone else who is available this close to Christmas
00:55:53what would I have to do?
00:55:56well most of the prep work's been done
00:55:57you'll have to finalize
00:55:59the menu
00:56:00contracts
00:56:01schedule
00:56:02paychecks
00:56:03oh

00:58:24not really
00:58:25no
00:58:25I was up all night working on a special project
00:58:29it's for Grace actually
00:58:30we used to go to this
00:58:32big Christmas fair back home
00:58:34and my plan is to surprise her
00:58:37with a mini version of it in our yard
00:58:38might not have slept much
00:58:41but managed to sort through everything
00:58:43it's amazing Tom
00:58:44you know Grace is so lucky
00:58:46to have a dad that cares so much

00:59:12a long ways to go
00:59:14but
00:59:14seeing that time capsule again
00:59:17made me remember how special
00:59:19my holiday traditions were
00:59:20and
00:59:20it might not be so bad
00:59:23to dabble in some light
00:59:25Christmas spirit
00:59:26baby steps
00:59:27you know
00:59:28but
00:59:28well I for one
00:59:32I'm very glad
00:59:33you are here
00:59:34because I know nothing about real Christmas trees
00:59:38So what do you usually look for?
00:59:55I honestly haven't really thought about it
00:59:58I mean
01:00:00like I said
01:00:00my tree knowledge is
01:00:02significantly limited
01:00:03alright well let's do a quick overview of Christmas tree 101
01:00:07alright
01:00:07there are five main types
01:00:09wait there are five main types?
01:00:11oh yeah
01:00:12spruce, pine, fir, cypress and cedar
01:00:14aren't they really all that different?
01:00:16Tom, Tom, Tom
01:00:18first the canned cranberry sauce
01:00:20now this?
01:00:20come on
01:00:21no a tree's a tree right?
01:00:24look
01:00:24all I'll say is that
01:00:26I'll know what I like when I see it
01:00:29what about this one?
01:00:38well it's too short
01:00:39they'd be perfect for my mom's foyer
01:00:42we should earmark it
01:00:43what about that one?
01:00:48it's too tall
01:00:49I won't even fit it through the front door
01:00:51oh
01:00:52that's the one
01:00:57yeah
01:00:58this is it
01:00:59yeah
01:00:59good choice
01:01:01wow
01:01:07now look at that tree topper
01:01:09oh
01:01:10it looks just like the one my family had when I was young
01:01:13I feel like I'm back in my old living room
01:01:15you should totally get it
01:01:17it's so sparkly and dazzling
01:01:20dazzling?
01:01:23okay
01:01:24dazzling is admittedly a bit much
01:01:26but seriously
01:01:27you should get it
01:01:29yeah I think I will
01:01:30or not
01:01:34oh

01:01:39all right
01:01:48all right
01:01:48you know Grace, her mum and I always had synthetic trees
01:02:03but I have to admit
01:02:05there is something really special about the smell of fresh pine
01:02:09mm-hmm
01:02:09and it takes me right back to my childhood
01:02:11isn't it wild how some things can just throw you back to such a specific memory
01:02:16yeah
01:02:17yeah
01:02:18what's that look
01:02:19nothing
01:02:22it's just
01:02:25it's just
01:02:27I feel like ever since I've gotten here it's just been like one coincidence after the other
01:02:33and
01:02:35and
01:02:35I'm starting to wonder
01:02:37what
01:02:38what if
01:02:40moving here
01:02:41next door to your mum
01:02:43finding the time capsule

01:02:56yeah
01:02:57yeah meant to be
01:03:00I mean
01:03:09how many things like this have to happen before we realize
01:03:12that
01:03:13they aren't
01:03:14just coincidences
01:03:16um
01:03:24um
01:03:25what time is it
01:03:26uh
01:03:28I think it's about
01:03:29about three o'clock
01:03:30we should probably get the trees back
01:03:33because I have to
01:03:33close up the bakery
01:03:34after
01:03:35yep

01:05:26So, are you going to tell me what this special project is?
01:05:30Not just now.
01:05:32But tomorrow will, I promise.
01:05:35So, how's it going with you and Elizabeth?
01:05:38Well, things ended a little weirdly today, actually.
01:05:43Did you tell her how you feel about her?
01:05:46No, not exactly.
01:05:51All right, all right, I will tomorrow.
01:05:54Good.
01:05:55I love you, Gracie.
01:05:57I know.
01:06:15Elizabeth!
01:06:16It is now a bad time.
01:06:17No, no, no, no.
01:06:18I've got a few minutes.
01:06:20Wow.
01:06:20You're really going all out on your DIY Christmas fare.
01:06:23Yeah, yeah.
01:06:25Just, you know, I want it to be perfect.
01:06:30So, I just...
01:06:31What about yesterday?
01:06:33You first.
01:06:35Um, I'm headed to the tree lighting with my mom, but I felt a bit off yesterday and I just wanted to explain...
01:06:41Yeah, I...
01:06:42Oh, I'm sorry.
01:06:47I was expect...
01:06:47Um, yeah.
01:06:50Please, just hold that thought.
01:06:53Yeah.
01:06:54Make yourself at home.
01:06:54Oh, thanks.
01:06:57Hello?
01:06:59Hi, Natalie.
01:07:01Um, no, I haven't checked it.
01:07:04Why?
01:07:07What do you mean, snowmageddon?
01:07:11Uh, they're out?
01:07:14They're out, too.
01:07:17Wait, what do you mean?
01:07:18They're all out.
01:07:19Um, thank you for letting me know.
01:07:24Yep.
01:07:24What was that all about?
01:07:34Did you hear about this huge snowstorm heading our way?
01:07:38Oh, yeah, it's supposed to hit the next town over, so it shouldn't miss us.
01:07:40Still, all the roads leading to town now closed.
01:07:43Oh, no, does that impact, uh...
01:07:45Yeah.
01:07:47Yeah, no one can make it.
01:07:50I'm so sorry.
01:07:52Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do.
01:07:54Can I help in some way?
01:07:56No, no.
01:07:57Thanks for offering.
01:07:59We'll make it work.
01:08:05Anyway.
01:08:05I don't know what we've seen before.
01:08:09About yesterday.
01:08:10Oh, no.
01:08:12I can wait.
01:08:13Well, you're here now, so...
01:08:15Um, I just...
01:08:17I don't know if now is the right time.
01:08:20I don't know what we've seen before.
01:08:22I'll start then.
01:08:27I thought we had something good going on between us, and I thought the feeling was mutual.
01:08:32No, there was.
01:08:35There is.
01:08:35But it felt a little bit awkward at the tree line.
01:08:39Um, okay, it's just, well, the stuff you were saying yesterday about everything happening for a reason, it's a lot for me.
01:08:52You know, it's just, it's the holidays and the family traditions.
01:08:58It's hard for me to get through every year.
01:09:01Not to mention you and Grace, the bond you two share.
01:09:04It reminds me so much of my relationship with my dad.
01:09:08And it makes me miss him so much.
01:09:12And getting to know you has been so great.
01:09:18But?
01:09:21I'm scared.
01:09:23Of what?
01:09:32I'm sorry, Tom.
01:09:35No, maybe you're right.
01:09:36Maybe this isn't the right time for this.
01:09:50Look!
01:09:51Isn't it beautiful?
01:09:54Elizabeth!
01:09:55Um, if it's okay with you, I'm going to skip the ceremony this year.
01:09:58I just need to take care of some things at the bakery.
01:10:01Bakery?
01:10:02Is everything okay?
01:10:03Yeah.
01:10:04Yeah, it will be.
01:10:04I just, I need to be alone right now.
01:10:07You sure?
01:10:08Mm-hmm.
01:10:11I know you said you wanted to be alone, but I think we both know I could never do that.
01:10:36I just wanted to see if you needed a hand in here.
01:10:38Maybe someone to measure out ingredients?
01:10:41No, I got it covered.
01:10:42Uh, you should, uh, go to the ceremony.
01:10:46I also wanted to see how you're doing.
01:10:49I've been better.
01:10:49I take it.
01:10:51I take it.
01:10:51I take it.
01:10:51I take it.
01:10:51I take it.
01:10:51I take it.
01:10:53What happened?
01:10:54You know, I don't like being vulnerable.
01:10:57When I feel exposed, I pull back.
01:10:59He told me he had feelings for me, and I wanted nothing more than to say I felt the same.
01:11:07But I, I just, I froze.
01:11:11I guess I'm scared.
01:11:14To lose him?
01:11:15Oh, Elizabeth, I know it's not easy for you to let people in.
01:11:22I'm sure losing your father at such a young age didn't help.
01:11:25But being vulnerable is a part of life, sweetheart.
01:11:31You're never going to get close to anyone unless you let down your guard a little.
01:11:37You know, you just have to ask yourself if the other person is worth it.
01:11:41And even if it doesn't work out, well, better to have loved and lost, and never to have loved at all, right?
01:11:51You know, I've seen you grow more in the last week than you have in the last year.
01:11:58If you just push yourself a little bit more, I know you won't regret it.
01:12:05Thank you, Mom.
01:12:06Now, I know how much you like to work out your feelings with pastries.
01:12:16Why don't you join me at the candlelight ceremony?
01:12:20It'll make your mom a whole lot happier if we go together.
01:12:27Um...
01:12:28I'll think about it.
01:12:36I'll see you next time.
01:13:06Dad?
01:13:18Surprise!
01:13:19Was this the project you've been working on?
01:13:22Oh, kiddo, I'm sorry.
01:13:25It's not at all like the hoped it'd be.
01:13:27I wanted to give you a great big Christmas fare like we had back home, but, well, weather took a turn and...
01:13:32Dad, it's amazing.
01:13:34I can't believe you did all this by yourself.
01:13:37You're not disappointed?
01:13:39No.
01:13:40This has been the best Christmas yet.
01:13:42Really?
01:13:43Even though it's different from back home?
01:13:45Different doesn't mean bad.
01:13:47I don't care what we do, as long as it's together, because that's what really counts.
01:13:53Come here.
01:13:59Besides, we got to try so many new traditions.
01:14:02We're basically Americans.
01:14:03It has been an adventure, hasn't it?
01:14:08Hey, speaking of new traditions, you wouldn't want to go to the candlelight ceremony, would you?
01:14:15I'll get my scarf.
01:14:16All right, and mittens.
01:14:17Tear up, Buttercup.
01:14:41It's the eve of Christmas Eve.
01:14:43Hmm, second thought.
01:14:47Let's not force it.
01:14:50Look, have you thought any more about saying a few words for your father?
01:14:56After all, he started this tradition.
01:14:59Sweetheart, I know your heart is hurting, but you're a tough cookie.
01:15:04You get through this.
01:15:06I mean, it's not like I have anything prepared.
01:15:11It doesn't matter.
01:15:13Just speak from the heart.
01:15:16Take a deep breath.
01:15:18You got this.
01:15:19You got this.
01:15:41Do you think we'll make it?
01:16:07I honestly don't know, kiddo.
01:16:09Well, we have to try.
01:16:11Come on.
01:16:12I'll write seats.
01:16:13Alrighty.
01:16:18Hi, everyone.
01:16:22I hope you're all having a great holiday so far.
01:16:24I just wanted to say a few words before we continue on with the festivities.
01:16:29You know, I'm not much of a public speaker.
01:16:33That was my dad's thing.
01:16:37I've always had a hard time saying things when they really matter most.
01:16:42But, um, here goes.
01:16:49I was recently reminded of how important it is to maintain family traditions with and
01:16:54for our loved ones.
01:16:56In fact, it's those very traditions that make this time of year so special.
01:17:02I'd like to dedicate this year's annual Christmas tree lighting to my father.
01:17:09He was a great man, a family man.
01:17:15And I miss him every day.
01:17:17But, I realized recently that a part of him continues to live in me when I uphold our family traditions.
01:17:26So, with that, I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making this one so memorable year after year.
01:17:35Merry Christmas.
01:17:37Well, that was, uh, that was some speech.
01:17:50It was beautiful.
01:17:51Some might even say vulnerable.
01:17:54Well, it was a long time coming.
01:17:56Just wasn't ready until now.
01:17:58Grace, let's go look at this magnificent tree, shall we?
01:18:07What?
01:18:08Oh.
01:18:09Yeah.
01:18:16Uh, listen.
01:18:18I need to come clean about something.
01:18:21Ever since my dad passed away, I've been scared of losing the people that I care about.
01:18:30I thought if I didn't admit my feelings for you, it'd be like nothing ever happened.
01:18:38Just go back to my normal life.
01:18:43But I don't think that's possible anymore.
01:18:46What are you saying?
01:18:51I really like you.
01:18:56And I think your daughter is amazing.
01:19:01And I'd love to see where this goes.
01:19:04If you're still open to it.
01:19:07Most definitely.
01:19:10Really?
01:19:12Yeah.
01:19:13I knew you liked her.
01:19:36It's okay.
01:19:38I like her too.
01:19:39You're not so bad yourself, kiddo.
01:19:42Five.
01:19:43Four.
01:19:44Three.
01:19:45Two.
01:19:46One.
01:19:47Oh.
01:19:48Joy to the world.
01:19:52Joy to the world.
01:19:57Joy to the world.
01:20:02Joy to the world.
01:20:05Oh.
01:20:06I'm sorry.
01:20:07I have to take this.
01:20:08I will be right back.
01:20:11Oh.
01:20:12Natalie.
01:20:13Hi.
01:20:14I'm just out with the family.
01:20:15So that storm gave us a bit of a scare.
01:20:16But one of the roads opened back up.
01:20:18I can send a food truck, reindeer and Santa your way now.
01:20:22You know what?
01:20:24That won't be necessary, Natalie.
01:20:26Let's let them go home and spend time with their families.
01:20:29I'm actually creating a new tradition as we speak.
01:20:30I'm actually creating a new tradition as we speak.
01:20:34And make sure they keep that deposit.
01:20:36Merry Christmas.
01:20:37Joy to the world.
01:20:39Joy to the world.
01:20:40Joy to the world.
01:20:42A savior raise.
01:20:43That meant their songs employ.
01:20:44On fields and birds, rouse hills and plains.
01:20:49Repeat the sounding joy.
01:20:50Repeat the sounding joy.
01:20:51Repeat the sounding joy.
01:20:52Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
01:21:25Are you sure you want to put that back in there?
01:21:31This thing brought us together.
01:21:34Imagine what it will do for the next people who find it.
01:21:37Plus, I made a copy.
01:21:42To memories.
01:21:45Both of the ones we've already shared and the ones we haven't yet made.
01:21:52You're here.
01:21:55Can we go inside and bake cookies now?
01:22:16That's when it's at the front neck nog.
01:22:17It's not going to be me.
01:22:19We're right behind you guys.
01:22:20There's just one thing I need to talk to Tom about first.
01:22:29So?
01:22:30I just want to thank you for everything you've done for my mom and me.
01:22:35I could say the same thing to you.
01:22:38You've just been amazing with Grace.
01:22:44Merry Christmas, Tom.
01:22:46I mean, I know you already have a tree topper, but I thought you'd appreciate it.
01:22:57This is the sweetest thing.
01:23:00You know what?
01:23:02I'm going to put up both of them.
01:23:05A little bit of my old home.
01:23:08Or my new home.
01:23:09Sounds perfect.
01:23:13How'd you even get this?
01:23:14I thought it was for sale.
01:23:16Well, I told David your story, and he was so inspired.
01:23:20He let me have it.
01:23:23I don't know what to say.
01:23:26It's just so...
01:23:28dazzling.
01:23:29Hey.
01:23:56Is this yours?
01:23:57Yours?
01:23:57No.
01:23:58It's under here.
01:23:59It's under here.
01:24:14You.
