00:07Hello, what's up, I'm Brian here doing another video for you guys, and this time we're talking
00:11about a couple of Transformers Age of the Primes exclusive figures. Apparently these are going to
00:15be Walmart exclusives, and it's going to have the theme of this kind of energized Energon deco with
00:22the transparent plastic, and then some of the solid plastic has these lighter tones. And I think it's
00:27mainly because it kind of carries over to what Cyber World is doing. Sometimes when the main line
00:33or one of the kiddie lines or the show lines does some sort of theme that eventually kind of leaks
00:39into the other one, kind of like how we had Combiner Wars, and then we got Combiner Force in the
00:46Robots in Disguise line. So I guess that's kind of the idea going on here. So even though these are
00:53listed as Energon and Dark Energon, it's not part of the Energon universe, it's just the theme that's
00:59going on. But these are still part of the Transformers Age of the Primes line. So we did
01:04actually hear a rumored listing for these figures, and I had actually guessed initially that it was
01:10going to be for the Deluxes a redeco of the Six-Gun and the Slammer figure. And then we heard
01:18later on, oh, it's going to be the Six-Gun and the Slammer figure. Now it's officially confirmed,
01:24it is the Six-Gun and the Slammer figure. So the blue one is Cybertread. That is the Slammer redeco.
01:31And I'm glad that they're doing that because I really like that mold, and it's only ever had one
01:36deco, and that is the initial Slammer figure. So I'm glad that more figures are coming out. And I do
01:41like the transparent blue. The light blue block does kind of feel a little out of place, but I guess
01:47so
01:47does the upper legs. So I don't know how to feel about that. It just feels a little too bright
01:52and too solid with a figure that's mostly transparent blue. But I understand why they're
01:57using solid plastic elements is because it's a much more, I guess, hardy material compared to
02:03the transparent stuff. Transparent plastic is usually a little more brittle, which does worry
02:08me for this line. But if they're using solid plastic, and they're using it the right way,
02:13I guess it'll be fine. Not all things that are using transparent plastic is going to
02:17break on you. Anyways, the next figure is a redeco of the Six-Gun. And I actually like
02:22what they're doing there. I think that works with the dark Energon recolor. I think it's
02:27a little more sinister of a mold, especially with a head sculpt. I like that they went for
02:31the original Six-Gun and not any of the repaints. So that's pretty cool. And that's all in transparent
02:37purple with the solid purple as well. But you can see these outlines of the lighter color.
02:42And I think that's what I love the most about this line is what I initially thought they were
02:48just going to do is, okay, we're going to get transparent figures. Obviously, it's going to
02:52have some solid colors, but it's mostly going to be transparent. And that's pretty much going to be
02:57it. Most of it is going to be unpainted. But no, they paint out the lines in this. I can't
03:01tell if
03:02it's white or if it's a lighter version of the colors that they already have, like a lighter purple
03:06or a lighter blue. Now for Cybertrad, that's just going to be blue. You know, it's going to be the
03:14normal Energon. And for Cybertronic, which is the purple one, that's going to be the dark Energon
03:21figure. So that's why that's using purple, which is going to complement the Optimus Prime and Megatron
03:26coming out, which we'll take a look at in a second. But you can see the back of the packaging,
03:30you know, we got the alt mode. And again, I like what they're doing for the Cybertrad.
03:35You see that trim at the bottom right between the treads and the tank base itself. So I think
03:42that looks pretty cool. You could see some of those elements as well on the Cybertronic. You
03:47could see that for the windscreen. And you could also see the different accessories when they're
03:52split apart, because these figures came out in the War for Cybertron Trilogy line. I'm sorry,
03:56I'm messing up by my words today. But these figures came out on the War for Cybertron Trilogy
04:01line, and they're part of the weaponizer gimmick. So you could split them apart,
04:04and they would form different weapons. But what's cool about this in particular is that
04:09they're not the only Walmart exclusive figures coming out, because we have Dark Energon Megatron
04:15and Energon Optimus Prime. Now those are going to be in the same exact decos as the Cybertronic
04:23and the Cybertrad. You can see that the Cybertrad is going to be colored so that it could fit with
04:29the Optimus Prime and the Cybertronic is going to fit with the Dark Energon Megatron. So I do like
04:34that a lot. But if you could spot it, these molds are really, really old, because that is the
04:42original Siege War for Cybertron Optimus Prime. I can definitely tell with the chest. And that is
04:48definitely the original Siege Megatron. Now I still have these figures, and I like them. I
04:54especially love the Optimus Prime. I think it's one of my favorites. But it is weird seeing those old
04:59molds return, considering that I didn't expect them to be the Studio Series A6 figures. But we've had
05:07different versions of these figures since. So it just seems kind of strange. I'm hoping that there's a
05:12way to make the Cybertronic figure into a jetpack. Because if it's going to be an Energon theme, I
05:18kind of want that to be like the Energon Megatron jetpack. I think that'd be pretty cool. Even
05:23though apparently we're going to get that figure as a mainline, I think that'd be kind of cool to
05:28kind of reference that. But I do like the weapons here. You know, I really like how Slammer forms that
05:33tread weapon. You know, everyone seems to love that tread thing. And then you can see that on both arms,
05:38actually. So that's pretty cool. And then it seems like he's got a cannon at his waist,
05:43which kind of reminds me of Megatron. And then Megatron himself has the double barrel blaster.
05:48He's got the wings on the legs, which I actually kind of like. I think he's got some blasters over
05:52the shoulders. So a pretty cool setup. I like that they complement each other. And I like that this is
05:57more or less a well-rounded kind of theme. You know, they're not really outgoing that,
06:03like, oh yeah, this is Energon. Like they have big labels on them, but you know, it's,
06:08it's very unified. So I like that a lot. Anyways, with that out of the way, what do you guys
06:12think?
