00:07hello what's up i'm brian here doing another video for you guys and this time we're taking a
00:10look at three brand new reveals for the transformers generation studio series 86 line
00:15this is all part of the more than meets the eye collection so it's all going to be target
00:19exclusives we've got a voyager we've got a three pack and we've got deluxe that i'm so relieved
00:25to see we're going to start off with the voyager this is starscream now all of these has been
00:30listed previously so it's not really big surprises and we kind of figured it was all going to be
00:37repaints but this is a repaint of the current ss86 starscream which i feel like a lot of people are
00:43going to be relieved because we don't have to deal with the earthrise toy i mean some people might
00:48like the chair and the setup from the coronation pack but i don't think a lot of people really like
00:54the fact that it was the same voyager starscream that came out i don't even think it was a year
00:59prior anyways uh just taking a look at this i love the jet mode you know it's a very simple
01:04very clean
01:05jet mode you can definitely see the arms underneath it and it's highlighted with the blue but you know
01:10there's always some sort of kibble underneath the jet you're not going to get it absolutely perfect but
01:15again i really do like this mold i've got the thundercracker i really want to get the skywarp
01:19and uh yeah i like the blue tail fins the the nice bright color there the red the stripes you
01:25know the decepticon logos it's the same typical seeker jet taking a look at the robot mode oh my
01:32god it's so clean so elegant looking yeah there's gaps on the side uh right underneath the arms but
01:38that's actually kind of typical for a lot of these seeker molds man i i just i i love the
01:44dark colors
01:45going on here i'm not sure if it's going to look like that in person but the dark gray really
01:49suits
01:50this it it makes it feel a little more evil if that makes sense but it highlights the blues and
01:57reds
01:57and kind of blends with it and uh i just i just really like how it turned out now obviously
02:02you've
02:02got the wings uh the tail fins on the side of the legs you could plug them on the back
02:06and then he's
02:07also got the typical null rays now he does have a new head sculpt or at least people have noticed
02:12that it seems to be a different head sculpt although i can't really say for sure because
02:15apparently thundercracker has about three or four different head sculpts being used but this one in
02:21particular he seems very happy that he threw megatron out of astrotrain so uh yeah this turned
02:28out really well and it's gonna be the third voyager in this lineup uh moving on to the three pack
02:34we've
02:34got the insecticons and i think that's a smart move to actually just release them all in one pack
02:39rather than just release them individually although some people are probably going to be upset because
02:44oh no i i didn't get specifically bombshell i just need bombshell and now i have to get it with
02:50all the
02:51other guys but considering that there's so much in the 86 line and these figures have been released
02:58prior i i think that just having a three pack it's probably going to be easier to swallow
03:02now what i don't like about this is the light gray shade that they're using i know that they're going
03:08for the more cartoon deco but i much prefer the silver or some of the transparent colors that
03:13were being used on the original toys for example kickback had these transparent wings i think those
03:19look nice although what i will say is that they're finally looking a little more consistent
03:23some of the shades of the purple was a little bit off between kickback and you know shrapnel and
03:30bombshell so at the very least you know that's all unified here so that's cool also the black seems
03:38to be maybe like a really really dark gray it seems to be a touch lighter than the previous toys
03:43and also you can see that the blades the kind of leaf like blades return for kickback but they're in
03:51this light gray plastic that matches all the other weapons or at least most of them not shrapnel
03:56which by the way seems to be unpainted anyways moving on let's go ahead and take a look at their
04:01robot mode so i think they do look pretty cool you can see that shrapnel does come with all the
04:06weapons as well as bombshell you can see them with the two lasers and then kickback you can see they
04:10put the blades on the side of the arms and yeah i just think they look pretty good i like
04:16that the
04:16chest is also consistent because you know they would have transparent chests but now they have
04:21them colored uh you know if they're going for the cartoon look okay totally fine with that another
04:26thing that i'm really happy about is just to make bombshell a little bit different and it does make
04:31sense is that sometimes bombshell is depicted with a dark gray chest rather than the purple chest
04:37so instead of the purple one they went for dark gray i think that's really cool now i also wanted
04:42to
04:43show off the packaging because it seems like they also include energon cubes which if you've seen them
04:50from the transformers retro line that was fairly recent where they took the g1 molds and they gave
04:57the g1 decos or the cartoon decos uh they also included energon cubes so i guess they wanted to do
05:03the same thing here also nice artwork hopefully it's not ai because it seems like hasbro is going that
05:09direction and uh i think that's putrid anyways moving on this is the thing that i'm mostly excited for
05:16it is a deluxe class prowl and it's just prowl it's just straight up prowl there's no tricks to it
05:22there's no remolding like there's no battle damage no nothing it's just prowl and i i'm so happy about
05:30that because when we got the original one it was part of the earth rise lineup and it was in
05:37a two
05:37pack and it was a little difficult to get also i didn't really like the iron hide in that two
05:42pack
05:42and i just the sled shoulder thing just doesn't really work for me so when they made the studio
05:49series one i was really satisfied but then they made the two pack with iron hide and it had all
05:54the battle damage and i was like no i don't really need that now we've got prowl again uh funny
06:00enough
06:00we also have that iron hide again in a three pack but this is just prowl and he's just gonna
06:05be sold
06:06by himself and so i'm thrilled about that it's not some big five pack with a bunch of autobots
06:12where half of them i don't really care to get no it's just him and uh that's really cool
06:17uh and i also like the colors here so they're using solid plastic for the windows which is
06:21something that they seem to be consistently doing even the blue streak in that three pack
06:25that i just mentioned uh they're changing it out for the solid plastic which a lot of people are
06:30going to be relieved with because that uh would crack under some pressure a lot of people had broken
06:35uh prowls blue streak and whatever and so that's cool and uh i like the bright white because it
06:43really fits with the the red it makes it pop and especially the black around the side so that
06:48looks very clean i like the silver at the front there it's just very subtle but it it looks nice
06:54and i also like that shade of blue especially when you see the badges on the doors with the
07:00autobot logo inside at least i think that's an autobot logo inside them and then just taking a look
07:05at the robot mode again i'm very satisfied with it uh the legs may look might look a little too
07:11clean
07:11but maybe that's just me also he seems to have some color in the waist you can see red and
07:17white
07:18in there or at least light gray so that looks kind of weird to me that they just decide no
07:23we gotta
07:23paint the crotch but uh the rest of them you know it seems fine i would like to see maybe
07:28something
07:29yellow in the shoulders but again maybe that's just me i like the crest on the head the head sculpt
07:34looks pretty good you know he comes with all the right accessories which is basically the blaster
07:38and the sirens and then you can see those badges on the doors which look very cool and uh yeah

07:45very satisfied that they finally decided no let's just make a single pack for prowl uh so with that
